About: I’ve been an animal lover since a kid, and am excited to care for your pet! I’m a grad student in MD and am a proud pet parent of 2 Yorkie-mix dogs. I have experience with pet feeding, long walks, and fun playtime. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs of all sizes. My husband and I are fairly flexible, and I often work from home. We have a large backyard where your dog(s) can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. I’m a grad student who has a very flexible schedule. I walk the dogs around 7:30am, brush their teeth, and set out their food. I also go on midday walks so they are mentally and physically stimulated. My husband takes the dogs out for long walks in the evenings as well. We are happy to include your pets into this schedule or add any additional care into this routine per your request and/or according to your pet’s needs. I have a large yard and 2 lovable pups that can keep your dog(s) company. We go on frequent walks and bathroom breaks around our quiet neighborhood and have tons of play space around the house. I am happy to honor any requests to care for one family’s pets at a time, and will absolutely treat your pet(s) as if they were my own.

About: Love dogs and they love me! I've gone to dog parks before and had other people's dogs jump onto my lap! Genuinely enjoy being with and taking care of all the dogs. I have an odd schedule and will be available for 3-4 days at a time in a row. Will need to check my calendar for actual availability. Meet them where they want me to. Some dogs are territorial or take a while to warm up to you so I don't rush things. Bubbly/friendly dogs are easy, individualistic dogs are more challenging and take time to approach and get to know.

I treat every pet like my own; with patience, attention, and a lot of love and I am reliable, and always focused on your pet's routine and will make sure your fur baby is cozy and will have a lot of cuddle sessions with me because I am a caring and your baby or babies will be in caring and capable hands. Caring for pets isn't a job to me, it's something I enjoy doing. I've been surrounded by lots of beautiful animals all my life and I've always loved it. Animals bring me joy and peace that I have never had and I am someone that gives animals a constant attention, and love so trust me when I tell you that I will care for your baby with so much love. I might not be home every day, but one thing about me is that my home is never empty. I have a brother and a sister who also stay with me and they are both dog and cat lovers as well. You’ll be leaving your baby or babies in the most capable hands of a loving family. You would never to be disappointed in the kind of care I will give to your baby or babies I live in an apartment, and this has taught me how to create a cozy, safe and enriching environment for pets. I will make sure they are relaxed, keep them healthy, play with them as much as they want no matter how tired I am and it has been done, and I'm very mindful of noise so they don't get agitated. Whether it's outside or not, it's never too late for play time or cuddle sessions. Your fur baby will feel right at home with me.

While I sadly do not own a dog of my own, I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by my family’s dogs :) I have helped take care of my cousin’s dog while she was away. I'm a dependable animal lover who will make sure your pet is happy and comfortable even while their people are away. I live with my partner in a very dog-friendly house in Landover Hills. While I manage the Rover account, my partner Lou--who is a caring pet parent with animal experience that includes a stint at wolf sanctuary-- also will keep your pet(s) company. We have two pups: the elderly Walden, a pug who sleeps 90% of the day, and Drax, an active mutt who enjoys playing with friends new and old in our yard but also cuddling up for evening snuggles. We have two cats who are friendly with dogs but have access to a dog-free office if any issues arise (so far we've only had adorable introductions as dogs' first cat friends--many nose boops). The house is in a suburban area and has a fenced in, maintained yard where your pup can happily spend their days playing with Drax, rolling in the grass, and sniffing around. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I work from home most days of the week; Lou works entirely from home. We often have guest animals in the house, so are used to a daily routine of breakfast and backyards romps after wake-up, multiple breaks throughout business hours, and plenty of play time and dinner in the evenings. We’re happy to incorporate your pet’s usual routine into ours to keep them comfy. I’m attentive to dogs in my care and take pride in ensuring they are comfortable while their owners are away.
