Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or companionship while you’re away, I will treat them with the same care, attention, and respect that I would want for my own pet. “Minh/Mary is beyond awesome. She noticed that my idiot (lovingly) dog got into the trash and she picked it up. She also keeps me updated on my cat when they see each other. I’d never expect a dog walker to go above and beyond like this, but that’s what she does!”

About: Have been in animal care team at zoo and aquarium for almost 2 years. I have been taking care of dogs and cats in the past for my family and their friends. I have 7 years old bearded dragon. I used to take care of my family dog; standard poodle! I am currently working full-time educator at elementary school. I worked from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM. I am available either after school or weekend. Keep my bearded dragon in my bedroom and allows him to free-roaming around my home with supervision. I keep feeding him in time and provide variety of diets.
“Words cannot express just how amazing Kathy is. She truly understands and embraces our boy, big feelings and all. Knowing that she cares and loves him just as much as we do is such a blessing.”

“Callie is always on time and very professional. I often have schedule changes and have to book last minute or change bookings around last minute and she makes everything work out whenever possible. Always a pleasure to work with.”

About: I had a Neapolitan mastiff and a beagle poodle mix. I recently adopted a poodle. I’m a dependable animal lover and will follow all your doggie care instructions. Your pups will be loved, well-cared for, have a lot of fun playing if that’s what they like! SPACE: I own my home. I have a fenced yard dog run, so your babies will be safe and secured. I have a 2300 sq ft home on .78 acres, so plenty of room to run and play. My neighborhood has one dog-friendly park within a short walking distance and we have two big dog parks close by (driving). Most roads have a speed limit of 25 miles per hour, so very safe to walk around the neighborhood. But the property is large, so we walk around it too. Unfortunately at this time I am not hosting puppies (under 1 year) or dogs that are not potty-trained. I work from home two days a week and am available weekends all day. I work out and walk in the morning rain or shine. My work schedule is very flexible so I can go out for walks multiple times a day and can drive anywhere if needed. My evenings are also open. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I’m an active and responsible homeowner without kids and only 1 dog so your fur baby will be showered with love and care from me, and companion ship from a furry friend! If I am caring for your pet in your home, I can either leave my dog at home with my husband or bring her along if you wish.

We needed a dog walker as my husband was recovering from foot surgery and I was leaving town for a few days. Xiaotong did a fantastic job with our pups. She sent lots of photos of their walks. They were thrilled to go with her each day. We will certainly call on her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
