Safety, trust & environment

I always follow any instructions given to me, along with your pets boundaries and requirements. I won't do anything your pup isn't comfortable with that isn't necessary. If they are uncomfortable with something that is necessary, we will work on it to make it a positive experience, this includes harness, medications, and more.

Information Ashley B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any allergies in advance! I always keep treats on me especially for emergencies. I do keep some treats on me that are just a meat and mixed tocopherals. Please also feel free to let me know about any behaviors your dog might have, this won’t impact my decision to take care of your dog but does help me to prepare and not be taken by surprise!

A typical day

I love mentally and physically stimulating dogs through active play like walks, running, tug of war, fetch, and more. Mental stimulation includes hide and seek games, sniffer games for dogs with strong olfactory senses, and positive cue-based training. Mentally and physically stimulated dogs are tired and happy dogs!

Pet care experience

I’m a positive‑reinforcement dog caregiver and trainer‑in‑training with 2 years of professional experience on Rover and Wag. I specialize in puppy training, fearful/anxious dogs, some reactive dogs, and confidence‑building using gentle, reward‑based methods. Every walk, drop‑in, and sitting visit includes: Positive Cue-based Training tailored to your dog each visit Confidence‑building exercises Calm‑behavior practice Enrichment tailored to your dog Physical Activity your pup enjoys This ensures each visit with your dog is rewarding, exciting, and tiring so you come home to a happy and calmer dog! I’m currently completing my GoodPup trainer certification and actively training my own Goldendoodle puppy, Zelda. I also have experience with service‑task foundations, which helps me support dogs with impulse control, neutrality, and structured learning. It also helps me train dogs to be confident and well-mannered fitting in with families with busy lives and children. I’ve successfully helped many dogs overcome fear of people, dogs, and new environments. I’m patient, calm, and skilled at reading canine body language. I care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including puppies, seniors, active dogs, and multi‑dog households. I also care for cats, bunnies, and guinea pigs. If you want a sitter who truly understands dogs and supports their emotional wellbeing, I’d love to meet your pup.
