Highly-rated overnight sitters - Lakeland South
“This is our 3rd time using Kristin and we have her booked again for May. She's amazing with Weatherly! Attentive, caring, kind, and my dog truly is part of the family. So much so that when we come to get Weatherly, she's always sad when we get home. Kristin is fantastic, you're pet will be loved & well cared for with her.”

“Brandon & Heather did a wonderful job caring for Molly & Sully. They sent pictures and let me know how the dogs were doing. They were wonderful at letting the dogs do pretty much what they do at home--sitting on the living room furniture. I would definitely use them again.”

“The best of the best. From the first thirty minutes to the last ten minutes we received updates on our fur baby. I received photos, videos, check ins, that made me laugh and feel good about my fur baby. The fact that they also have family home all day long is a huge plus for a dog like mine who has anxiety. I will definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter!”

“Jordin was so awesome she kept me up to date and sent pictures on a daily this was my first time doing something like this I was nervous and scared. But jordin had reassured me greatly I will definitely be back for future bookings with her ! ❤️”

“Carmen is an absolute dream and was incredibly helpful and the perfect fit to care for my iggy! Communication was smooth, fast and seamless. The photos and videos she sent were awesome, showing my ‘lil guy having a blast and “living his best life” ! She even had adorable little outfits that he wore during his stay! I can’t rate her professionalism, caring and thoughtful communication high enough! Especially as my iggy was not accustomed to being away from me, I was blown away how contented he was from the very start.”

“We were so happy we found Angela to watch our pup! She is super bubbly and friendly and made sure we were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our boy ❤️ looking forward to booking with her more in the future!”

“Booking with Dane was very easy. He responded quickly and drop-off and pick-up were very smooth. Our flight got in late and he and his wife were very flexible with us. Boomer looked like he had a great time and has done nothing but sleep since getting home. I think he was worn out from all his fun! He even came back to us smelling great so a bath must have happened as well!”

“Michelle and Sam are WONDERFUL!! Our dog Cookie is always SO excited to see them and to be with their dogs as well. Loving, wonderful, kind, AMAZING! Thank you both.”

“Linda was absolutely wonderful with our dog. From the moment we booked with her, she was incredibly communicative, kind, and attentive. She sent thoughtful, sweet updates throughout the stay — photos and little messages about the activities our dog was enjoying — which gave us so much peace of mind. What truly stood out is how content and relaxed our dog was when she came home. This has never happened after stays at other facilities, where she would return stressed or unsettled. With Linda, she came back happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. We hope that we get to book with you again in the future. Thank you, Linda!”

“Dennis and Lynn were fantastic sitters for our girls. We could tell they were right at home with them and enjoyed the stay. Dennis and Lynn were great communicators. They kept in touch before and during the stay which helped ease any worry for us.”

“Keri and family are so wonderful. We've used her a few times in the past and our two dogs love her. We had a family emergency and had to leave town suddenly. We were so relieved that Keri was available to watch our dogs for us. Not only did she help us on very short notice, she was able to keep them longer than we originally expected. She is flexible, communicative, and a truly kind person.”

“Our experience with Katie and her family was nothing short of incredible. From the meet and greet where Katie listened to all the things that make Wrigley, Wrigley, to sharing what we could expect for him while in her care, to the drop off where they helped ease the goodbye (Wrigs has short-term separation anxiety), to the photos and texts during his stay, to the pickup where Wrigley clearly demonstrated that he was settled and comfortable (it took him a minute for him to even realize I was calling his name b/c he was engaging with Katie), we couldn't have asked for more. They adapted to Wrigley's needs and welcomed him right in. Wrigley came home happy (and wiped out) from his 4 day playdate, and we know where we'll try and send him whenever we need to know that he's getting the same kind of care and love we give him at home. Thank you, Katie and family!”

“Harlie was absolutely amazing. Made me feel very comfortable leaving my boy (Aussie) in her care. Recieved photos daily which made being away from my service animal a little easier”

“Maggie was an excellent sitter for my pup and kept me informed and sent lots of photos. My dog seemed to have a great time with her and the other dogs in her care! I look forward to having Maggie care for my dogs in the future.”

“This was our first time using any service with Rover and Sara was absolutely amazing! We boarded our 6 month old cockapoo at another facility and didn’t have the best experience. I would 100% book with Sara again and now plan to use the daycare option too. She kept me updated with pictures and videos and is very responsive to messages.”

“We love having Priscilla watch our dog! Our dog looks like she’s having so much fun in every picture we get. Not to mention she always comes home clean and well taken care of.”

“Marla watched our dog for 3 weeks, and he had a great time! She sent many picture updates and it’s clear that our doggo had as much of a vacation as we did. He even got a bath from her after romping around and getting dirty. Would definitely recommend and will book with her again the next time we go out of town!”

“Thanks for watching our pup while we were gone! We received some pictures and updates throughout her stay and she looked happy being there. We’ll definitely check back for future boarding needs.”

“Laura did a great job. Whiskers can be a challenge showing up at all hours of the night and Laura was there to let him in. She made sure he had his wet food, treats and Hydra care just as I requested. She watered our plants and when I got home the house was just as clean as when I left.”

“Chris was great! This was the first time I had to hire someone to take care of Motor and it couldn’t have gone better. She came by twice a day to check in and feed him and he took to her right away. You can tell she truly loves cats and really enjoys working with them. I will definitely hire her again if I ever need coverage.”

“We had a long overseas trip that would be our first time having a non-relative checking in on our two cats. Rose was communicative, responsible, and sent the cutest photos of our kitties. I would absolutely love to have Rose take care of our cats on our travels in the future. I am a huge worry wart with my cats, but I was able to relax on our trip when I knew they were in good hands.”

About: I've had cats my entire life—there has never been a time when I haven't shared my home with at least one. I understand that every cat has their own unique personality, and my goal is to help each one feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they're with us. Winning over even the shyest cats is one of my favorite challenges! Your cat's comfort and safety will always be my top priority. While I can't guarantee they'll become friends with our dogs or cats, I can promise they'll have a secure, loving environment where their individual needs and boundaries are respected. To provide each cat with the attention they deserve, we only board one cat household at a time. We also offer dog boarding, but we carefully evaluate each booking to ensure it's a good fit for everyone and that all of our furry guests can enjoy a safe, low-stress stay.
“Mandi was amazing!!! Mandi watched our sweet 10-year-old Maine Coon mix boy, Poseidon. Mandi was responsive, attentive, and our boy LOVED every visit!!! We also got the cutest updates and best photos too!!! We will definitely be booking with Mandi again and truly couldn’t be more grateful for all the love and attention Mandi gave our boy during our absence!!!! Thank you so much, Mandi!!!!!!”

“Heather is everything you could want in someone giving care to your beloved pets. My cat took to her right away and Heather even goes above and beyond while she's caring for your animals. Highly recommend!”

“Cassie was fantastic! She took wonderful care of our cats while we were away and did all the things we asked. She provided great updates and was communicative and supportive throughout the weekend! Highly recommend her!! Will be asking her to watch our cats again!”

“Morgan was amazing! She communicated with me each day and sent adorable pictures and video of my sweet kitties while I was out of town on vacation. They loved her too! I would highly recommend her services and will absolutely be requesting her again in the future for looking after my two cats!!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and neighbors. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy spending time with animals, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or simply keeping them company, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own.

“Ernest and Lauren always go above and beyond. They're so kind and caring and communicate often and clearly. Our boys (3 kitties) love them and were so thankful we found them.”

“Xiaotong was great! She was very responsive and reliable. We appreciated that she was able to come for a meet and greet at the last minute and then took good care of our cats when we were gone.”

“I don’t know if you’re able to review a person more than once. But I had Andrhu coming for drop in visits during my long work hours because he lives just a few blocks away. I noticed my cat who is 15 took to him right away and he paid attention to my very *particular* requests about her care. Not only did I have a significant increase in my cats level of calmness - but literally at the LAST minute I saw that the sitter I use when I’m out of town had left my cat alone for almost 24 hours. Then pushed he out of bed when the cat tried to ask for minimal attention. To say I was crushed was an understatement. I was in complete tears. I have a lot going on and am kind of a single pet parent until my husband can join me in the USA. Andrhu AGAIN was a god send. One one days notice I let the other sitter go home for personal reasons and Andrhu agreed to stay - he was with her most all day every day. I came home today, my cat happy, playing with a ball at 15 years old. And now I am comfortable purchasing a kitten to make her (and I) even happier. Knowing I have Andrhu close by - he’s SO flexible. He’s honest and communicates expectations clearly which I appreciate and respect. The amount of guilt I carry about leaving her is at a zero. Down from about 200 on my last vacation. And now with our new addition coming - I consider Andrhu to be part of my cat tribe to make sure they’re all ok. I don’t want him to get completely booked (selfishly). But this is the relationship I needed for my sweet girl until my husband is allowed to live here - and for every vacation after. I highly recommend treating him with utmost respect. I have a guest set of linens, towels and hope Andrhu will help himself to anything food or drink in my home. At this point my home is him home and even if we haven’t met he is cat-family. Hire him whenever you can. The compassion he shows to even old pets it unmatched. I’m almost crying tears of joy from having my anxiety so much reduced in this difficult time in my life.”

“Ivy was fantastic! I appreciated her patience, understanding, and consideration with Aspen. She was kind, thoughtful and careful while Aspen became comfortable with her. Scheduling and coordinating with Ivy was a breeze. She put in time and effort to make the schedule and manage everything through Rover. I'll be using Ivy in the future, without a doubt.”

Currently I am a part-time college student and caregiver for my younger sibling, although this may seem time restricting this allows me to plan out my schedule and can be flexible whenever and wherever. I am a very neat and tidy person, so house upkeep is one of my number one priorities aside from taking care of your pets. Perfect for high energy dogs - Lakeland South

“Anthony has been so wonderful to work with for our fur baby! He is very caring and lets us k is how her day went as well as how she ate etc. We love the pictures of her playing with his pups and napping and the best endorsement was how excited she was next time we took her. My husband said she could hardly wait to get through the door! Thank you, Anthony! 🐾”

About: I’ve been caring for cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies for over 12 years. It started when I was young, helping family and friends with their pets, and naturally grew into fostering both puppies and adult dogs. Today, I live with a ragdoll cat, two mini schnauzer doggies, and regularly foster dogs. My 2 senior cats that I grew up with currently live with my mom. Every dog or puppy I foster and have in my home learns routines and tricks based on their needs. I’ve helped with leash training, crate and potty training, managing toy reactivity, and teaching commands like sit, shake, and touch. My pets get plenty of playtime, structure, and love and yours will too. I’m careful with pet introductions and always prioritize comfort and safety. I understand every animal is different and will listen closely to your concerns to provide personalized care. I also love sending regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and loved. I also have pet insurance. I work from home, and I am pretty flexible on ensuring the care needed for your pet. I have a lot of time to spoil your pets! I have a fully fenced yard, and monitor pets when they are outside. I introduce pets slowly with positive association and ensure each pet is comfortable. I also have a fence to separate pets indoors if needed. I typically have between 1-5 additional pups in my home. Many are repeat clients, so many of the pups I board/daycare for will see their same friends every now and then! We keep a small crew in our home to ensure each pup has the dedicated attention and care they need. When caring for friends/family's pets, I always ensure pets do not bolt out the door both when coming inside and leaving. When walking a pup, I always ensure their harness/collar is on correctly and have high reward treats/toys to ensure focus stays on me if there are distractions. I never overwhelm an animal and understand they take time to warm up, especially when it is my first time meeting them.
“She is wonderful! Takes great care of our 9 week old puppy, and is very considerate of the fact that he is not fully vaccinated so she keeps him separate from other dogs. She is awesome!”

About: I understand that every pup has their own personality, and I enjoy giving them the love, patience, and attention they deserve while you're away. Whether your little companion enjoys short walks to the park, cozy lap time, playtime, or simply a calm and caring presence, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I treat every dog as if they were my own and believe in providing reliable, loving care that gives both pets and their owners peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I’m currently retired, so I have all of the time needed to be with your pup. My lifestyle is ideal for pet sitting since I will be with them nearly every minute you’re gone. I live in an apartment that has a dedicated potty space for dogs just a short elevator ride away. There’s a park across the street for short walks. I’ve had dogs for many years and our neighbors are all very dog friendly! They love to say hi as we go in and out to potty and walk.
“Was very pleased with Nathaly and her fur baby, Stella. Appreciated updates of photos and videos that was comforting to know Tobie was doing okay. Was also great to have another German shepherd to play with Tobie. Stella was a bonus in helping Tobie adjust. My Tobie came home tired and ready to sleep. Though Tobie still needs training, Nathaly took time to help Tobie. I would definitely request for Nathaly again. Thank you Nathaly and Stella!!!”

During that time, I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and loving care in a safe and comfortable environment. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Nevie had so much fun and played so hard she slept the majority of the evening when she got home. I booked again with Dennis and Lynn and my puppy Nevie will be so excited to return to visit!”

About: Hi, I have always had dogs growing up and as an adult. From large hunter breeds , to small lap dogs, I love them all. I work from home and have an 7yo old golden retriever. We go for walks, the park, play with neighborhood dogs and get plenty of interaction and stimulation. My home is a great space for a few dogs and they receive lots of love and plenty of potty breaks! Fetch, tug of war and cuddles of course! I work from home and also take my dog with me for adventures and activity. Great walking areas in my neighborhood and a fenced yard to play free in. I am only going to be taking one pup for overnights , unless there are two from the same household, then I can house both. Golden is very playful, gets along with all dogs and gives the little ones their space if they want. For some evenings, I do have sports and activities which I'm gone for a few hours. So for those needing boarding, or evening care, those details can be discussed with dogs needs. I work from home doing massage therapy. So unless I am out at my volleyball, or other sports league, I am home with pups. Hardwood floors throughout, with area rugs good space in case of an accident, it easily cleanable. I have a fully fenced back yard and of course tennis balls etc for play time and mental stimulation. Crating if needed is fine, client to provide.
About: Update: We have adopted 7/7/26 a Shih-tzu 10lb. I raised both a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix and a Tibetan Terrier from puppies into their senior years. They were truly part of our family, and after losing them, I’m not emotionally ready to adopt again. (My daughter got a dog now-7/7/2026) Pet sitting feels like the perfect win-win your pets will be showered with love, attention, and care, while also bringing that special furry companionship back into our home. I’m experienced in daily pet care, including brushing and coat maintenance. Since both of our dogs had coats that matted easily, daily brushing and regular grooming were essential, and I personally maintained and trimmed their coats myself. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve pet sat for friends and family during vacations, often caring for their pets for weeks at a time. I also worked as a nanny for several years, where I regularly cared for a German Shepherd who became one of my favorites. We took daily walks to the park, and I helped maintain his coat, especially during shedding season. My love for animals began growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and frequent litters of puppies and kittens. Being able to witness and help care for animals from such a young age gave me a deep appreciation for them and taught me patience, attentiveness, and compassion. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I will always care for them as if they were part of my own family. My schedule is very flexible, I work from home in the evenings, the timing is perfect for winding down, they can relax in my office while I work or in our living room or room. In my home: Safety is my top priority. I have a large, fully fenced backyard, that connect directly to our lower living area allowing for secure and easy access for potty breaks. For variety i can take them around our neighborhood for walks and can utilize a large park at a nearby school for additional play time. Pet not good on walks, NO PROBLEM: Having owned a Tibetan Terrier who was incredibly loving with family and children, but reactive to other dogs on walks I deeply understand that every dog is different. If a pet is anxious or not good on walks, we can stay withing our private back yard. In the clients home: I follow the owners established routines and instructions to keep the pet safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, including tailored neighborhood walks.
“Michelle and Samuel were so wonderful with our dogs! I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. This was the first time leaving our dogs with someone at their home so I was nervous but Michelle and Samuel were receptive to our questions and instructions. They communicated frequently with us and sent us lots of pictures and videos. Our dogs were so happy and tired when they came home. I never thought I could find people I trusted with my dogs but now I have. We will be using them again!”

“Marla took such good care of my pup Bear! She sent lots of picture and video updates of him running around with other dogs. Bear was definitely a tired pup when I picked him up! Will be bringing him back!”

“Polly looks forward to every visit with Marisol and Milo, and literally runs from the car to their front door! I feel so grateful she has such a special bond with them and has SO MUCH FUN every time! Thank you Marisol and Milo for making her feel so special and loved! I highly recommend Marisol for overnight stays and day care play dates!”

“Ricardo is Onyx’s favorite friend. They have three other dogs that are so well behaved and t they play with Onyx. They even play ball with him and even gave onyx’s favorite ball. He even plays with the ball at my home every day. I will recommend them so many times.”

“Francena is a loving, caring, and knowledgeable provider! She treats my senior Bichon like her own. She took prompt care of him when he was anxious (which he always is now that he is senior). She kept me posted and was very patient with his senior habits! She really knows dogs with all her experience in showing, breeding, grooming, and vet industries. I'm so happy to have found her!❤️”

About: Hi! I’m Laura, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member. As a flight attendant, I understand how important trust, communication, and reliability are. Whether you’re away for work, vacation, or just need an extra hand, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re gone. I’ve always been an animal lover and know that every pet has their own unique personality and routine. I take the time to get to know each pet so they feel comfortable, whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply keeping them company. I believe pets thrive when they feel secure, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. While your pet is in my care, you can expect regular photo updates, clear communication, and plenty of reassurance that they’re happy and having fun. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your best friend is in caring hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and becoming someone you can count on whenever you need dependable, loving care! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I currently have a pug. As a flight attendant, my schedule gives me dedicated time at home between trips, allowing me to provide focused, attentive care to the pets I watch. On the days I’m caring for your pet, my schedule revolves around their needs—from morning potty breaks and walks to playtime, meals, and plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, exercise, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I know every pet has a unique personality, so I adjust my care to match their needs—whether they love active playtime, long walks, or quiet cuddles on the couch. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat your home with the same respect I would my own. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and companionship while maintaining their normal routine to help reduce stress while you’re away.
About: I had a Neapolitan mastiff and a beagle poodle mix. I adopted a poodle (Lady) in October 2025, and then another one (Ricky) in June 2026 . I’m a dependable dog mom and will follow all your doggie care instructions. Your pups will be loved, well-cared for, have a lot of fun playing if that’s what they like! SPACE: I own my home. I have a fenced yard dog run, so your babies will be safe and secured. I have a 2300 sq ft home on .78 acres, so plenty of room to run and play. My neighborhood has one dog-friendly park within a short walking distance and we have two big dog parks close by (driving). Most roads have a speed limit of 25 miles per hour, so very safe to walk around the neighborhood. But the property is large, so we walk around it too. Unfortunately at this time I am not hosting puppies (under 1 year) or dogs that are not potty-trained. I work from home two days a week and am available weekends all day. I work out and walk in the morning rain or shine. My work schedule is flexible so I can go out for walks multiple times a day and can drive anywhere if needed. My evenings are also open. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I’m an active and responsible dog mom with 2 fur babies, so your fur baby will be showered with love and care from me, and companion ship from furry friends!
“Danielle was kind, communicative and punctual. My little guy loved her immediately! Will be using her again in the future. It would be a pleasure to recommend her to family and friends for their fur babies.”

About: Hi! My name is Monae, and caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I have hands-on experience working with dogs through my volunteer work at the Humane Society and Resilient Sanctuary, where I help with walking dogs, providing enrichment and socialization, cleaning kennels, preparing food and water, and assisting with daily care. I am comfortable around dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I understand that every dog is unique, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I am currently pursuing a degree in psychology, and I have a strong interest in animal behavior and dog training. This has helped me develop patience, observation skills, and an understanding of how to build trust with both pets and their owners. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or companionship while you’re away, I will treat them with the same care, attention, and respect that I would want for my own pet. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your furry family member, and I am committed to providing reliable care and clear communication every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾 Why book with me? * Volunteer experience with dogs at the Humane Society and Resilient Sanctuary * Experience with daily animal care, enrichment, and socialization * Reliable and responsive communication * Comfortable with dogs of various breeds and sizes * Passionate about animal behavior and dog training * Dedicated to making pets feel safe, happy, and loved I work full-time with TSA, so I currently offer pet care on Fridays and Saturdays. Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, and I look forward to dedicating my days off to caring for pets. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or companionship, I will make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you're away. I live in an apartment, but I make sure dogs receive plenty of walks, exercise, potty breaks, and attention. I always follow the owner's instructions and take the time to learn each dog's routine and needs. I currently volunteer with the Humane Society and Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, where I work with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My goal is to provide a safe, positive, and stress-free experience for every dog in my care. I am also pursuing a degree in psychology and will be starting the Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Foundations course. My long-term goal is to become a service dog trainer, so I'm passionate about continuing to learn and build experience working with dogs.

“Words cannot express just how amazing Kathy is. She truly understands and embraces our boy, big feelings and all. Knowing that she cares and loves him just as much as we do is such a blessing.”
“I am so happy I found Gretchen and her daughter to hang with my puppy, Cooper, now that I am back in the office some days. They are great with him and I know he loves their walks!”

“Dennis and Lynn were fantastic sitters for our girls. We could tell they were right at home with them and enjoyed the stay. Dennis and Lynn were great communicators. They kept in touch before and during the stay which helped ease any worry for us.”

“Michelle was absolutely amazing with Smoky! I was away for four days on a work trip, and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in such great hands. Smoky is a high energy dog who loves being outdoors, running, and staying active, and Michelle went above and beyond to make sure he got plenty of exercise, attention, and care. She took him on runs, kept up with his feeding and routine, and treated him like he was her own. She was also great about communicating throughout my trip, sending pictures and regular updates so I always knew how Smoky was doing. I came home to a happy and well cared for dog, which says everything. Michelle is dependable, caring, attentive, and clearly loves animals. I would absolutely book her again and would be more than happy to have her as Smoky’s regular sitter. Highly recommend her!”

“We were new to using this app and a little nervous about boarding our dog for the first time, but we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Our sitter was incredibly kind, communicative, and clearly made our dog feel at home. They send updates and videos which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. They were gracious enough to take him bec it was very last minute on a holiday weekend. It was obvious that our pup was relaxed, happy, and well cared for. We’re so grateful and would absolutely book with them again!”

“I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Esther. We boarded our reactive, highly active dog with Esther and he came back to us even happier than when we left him. Esther gave us daily updates about our dog and was very responsive throughout his stay. Esther is such a pro who we trust, and we look forward to having her watch our pup in the future!”
