About: Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk and feed their dogs. Some times I take them to the dog beach and for hiking. I am available for drop in visits and dog walks the whole week with possibility of adapting to the schedule that works better for you. I can take care of your dog at your place for a few hours. If you want some furry company for your dog, my dog is very friendly and he will keep your dog company all the time.

About: Hi, I'm Marcy! Dogs have been a part of my life since birth. Growing up with dogs and later in life owning a few dogs, I’ve always had a passion for pet care. I’ve been lucky enough to own three German Shepherds well into their teen years and currently own a senior black lab. New to Rover, but not new to care for pets. I’m a stay at home dog mom, empty nester who loves walking my black lab around La Jolla Shores three to four times a day. He’s slowing down now that he’s a senior and I’m looking to keep up my steps. Let me take care of you dog and incorporate them into my daily routine or start a new one with your fur baby. I’m located in the heart of La Jolla Shores with great beach access when allowed on beach. This neighborhood is perfect for walking. If allowed, a walk to Starbs for a pup cup is an option and I know all the great treat stops, if allowed by owner. My black lab is great with other dogs and very friendly.

About: Experienced in taking care of family and friends' dogs. Your dog will be staying with my 21 pound, 12 year old, friendly poodle mix Perry. Good sized one bedroom condo that is not overwhelming for your dog, and will get frequent breaks outside and 1-2mile walks around this peaceful and safe neighborhood. I work from home, so I'm mostly at home unless I need to be out to run errands. If your dog is boarding with me then I'll make a point to plan to be with them most of the time. I own and live alone in my condo with a small patio and doggy door. Windows are always open to keep it cool inside, and there are no obvious hazards for dogs to get into trouble. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, I walk my dog Perry on a leash around here all the time.

About: Hi! I mostly work from home, but I’m a hybrid worker with a flexible schedule. Two of my favorite things in life are animals and going for a long walk outdoors, so spending time with your pet is truly a joy for me. I’ve had my dog since he was three months old, he’s now 12 and was born with an angular limb deformity. His unique strut just adds to his charm, and caring for him has taught me patience, consistency, and how to meet pets where they’re at. I treat every pet like my own, patiently getting to know them and making sure they feel at ease. That might mean letting your dog sniff every tree or giving a cat the space to come to me on their own terms. I grew up with cats and understand that each has their own set of rules- I love an aloof cat just as much as a snuggly one. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions you provide. My goal is to make sure your pet feels secure and relaxed in their environment, whether that’s their familiar home or a stay with me. If your pet is staying with me, they’ll have a calm, pet-friendly space and the company of my own sweet, well-socialized dog, who loves to hang out with other pups. I keep a close eye on all interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable, and I always introduce dogs slowly and respectfully. I believe in keeping you in the loop with regular updates, photos, and videos so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. Their well-being, safety, and happiness are always my top priority.

About: I have taken care of pets ever since I can remember. From my own to neighbors and friends. I have experience in all sorts of dogs from small to big with all energy levels! I am currently waiting to start my job in early September and have all hours free. I am a graduate from UC Santa Barbara living in La Jolla I work out love to surf and can work around any schedule. About: I’ve taken care of several dogs over the years including puppies, seniors, and those with health problems (including some with diabetes who need insulin or other medications). I’ve loved animals and been surrounded by them ever since I was young. I love taking cute pics of your fur babies and keeping my own dog’s instagram active 😂. I’m super outdoorsy and have been driving for several years to the many beautiful dog beaches and hiking trails San Diego county has to offer. Having taken care of animals previously, I have access to grooming supplies including a pet wash station in the fenced backyard of my home. As a college student, I am available full time at any hour and any day of the week! Clients planning extended vacations over the summer are no problem! I have a fenced yard safe for pets and a senior dog at home to keep them company! My dog can be easily put away if needed or preferred for your pet. I’m available for walks at any time of the day. If wanted, I can attach AirTags to collars during walks/outdoor activities in case anything unexpected happens!

About: I LOVE animals. I have been around them my whole life, from my own in my household, to pet sitting for friends and family. I just moved here, post grad from college, and am working on getting my own dog out here! I would love to meet your furry friends and be able to love them for you while you are unable to! I just moved here, and work a remote job, so I have full availability! I might down the line work a few days a week at a breakfast restaurant, however my availability will remain very open! My biggest goal is for the animal to be comfortable, and able to trust me. In my home, I do not have a yard. But there is a grass area right outside, as well as a park just a minute walk down the road! I can stay and take care overnight, as well as walk, play and feed the animals, anything needed! Litter box cleaning and picking up poop are not issues at all as well!

About: I’ve put 45 years of experience because I’ve taken care of my own dogs since I was a young boy. I’ve always had a dog in my life and have a deep love and care for them. I am at a place where I don’t have a dog of my own yet still enjoy time with them till my next best friend finds their way into my life. In the meantime if you have a loving well behaved pup that you want loved and cared for as you do I could be the right person for you to put that trust into. I live a few blocks from the beach where your pup would be walked multiple times a day. I work short days and your pup would be walked in the morning before I leave and a longer walk in the afternoon. I have a Pet Cam in my living room I’m happy to share while your pup stays with me. About: We are a couple in our 20s that absolutely love dogs and would love to take care of your pet. We both grew up around dogs and currently have our own dog named Archie. He is a super friendly dog that loves meeting new furry friends. He is a 4 year old Aussiedoodle who has never met a dog he doesn’t like playing with. We both work fully remotely and will be home during the weekdays with your pet. We'll walk your dog along with Archie (our dog) and they would receive between 3-5 walks a day. I have a sixth sense now for any dog shenanigans, and I’ve dealt with puppy behavior. If there are any concerns ahead of time please just let us know and we can most likely figure out something that’ll work.

About: Hi!! I'm Maddie, and I would absolutely love to care for your animals! Since leaving my family pets at home to attend college here in San Diego, I've missed the joy of looking after dogs and cats. My friends and family have always said I should become a veterinarian because of my deep love for animals. I've grown up around big dogs my whole life, with my family having pitbulls, akitas, and boxers. Because of this, I'm especially experienced with larger dogs, but I've also spent plenty of time with smaller breeds like cavaliers, chihuahuas, and mini poodles, thanks to my friends' families. I genuinely love every breed! I've been dog sitting in my neighborhood back home for years and I'd love to continue doing what I enjoy here in PB! With experience in caring for both short-haired and long-haired dogs, I'm well-versed in bathing and grooming based on their specific coat needs. I can't wait to meet and care for your furry friends! I am currently working 8-5 Monday through Friday, but come home for my lunch for an hour and a half every day. During this time I can take your pup for a walk or whatever you need! The weekends I am completely open, so they have all my attention. I love dog sitting on the weekends and making a whole weekend out of it. Going for long walks, cuddles… all of it!! Because I have had both super dependent and super independent dogs, I know how to read a situation easily. Whether they need cuddles and attention or a treat to relax to, I am willing to do whatever to make your dog happy and comfortable. I would want the same for my dog!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life, growing up with 4+ family dogs since the age of 10 and now raising my own as an adult. When pet sitting, I start by setting extremely clear expectations with the owner: what do they eat and when? How much indoor / outdoor exercise and socialization do they need? When and where will they sleep? Are there rules about areas they should or should not access? These are a few of the questions we’ll cover but hopefully it’s clear I take a comprehensive approach to caring for pets. The same applies to caring for the home overall. Once the expectations are clear, I follow them exactly and text to check in with updates / clarification questions.
