About: My Pet Care Experience Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with a variety of pets, each teaching me something unique about responsibility, empathy, and companionship. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, and turtles, and every one of them left a lasting impact on me. As a child, my hamsters taught me patience and attentiveness through their delicate care needs. Feeding them the right diet and cleaning their habitat were my first lessons in responsibility. With dogs and cats, I learned the importance of building trust and providing unconditional love. They showed me how meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Bunnies and turtles required different forms of care, from maintaining specific diets to creating environments that matched their natural habitats. Now, as an adult, I deeply appreciate how much these experiences shaped my understanding of what it means to care for animals. Currently, as a student on vacation, I have plenty of free time during the holidays to dedicate to their care, including playing with them, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. During the semester, I usually have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide attention, exercise, and care for the pets. I enjoy creating a balance between my responsibilities and spending quality time with them, as I believe this is key to building a strong bond and keeping them content. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I always prioritize building trust with the pet, creating a bond that ensures they feel safe and comfortable with me. The place where I live is fenced and quiet, making it a safe environment for pets. However, I understand that pets often feel more comfortable staying in their own home, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. For this reason, I am more than happy to care for them at their place if that’s preferred. Regardless of the location, I make sure to follow their specific routines, provide plenty of playtime and attention, and ensure their needs are met with love and care.

About: I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter in my family—the one my aunts and uncles trust to care for their dogs when they’re away. I’ve been helping out since I was 11, so I’ve had plenty of experience with all kinds of pups, from playful puppies to older, wiser dogs. I’ve also looked after dogs with special needs, like those with anxiety around people or other pets. Taking care of them all has been a joy and a chance to connect with each one’s unique personality! I’m currently in college, but since it’s all online, I’m home almost all the time! My classes don’t take up much of my day, so I’m usually free and totally flexible to come by and hang out with your pups whenever you need. I only have Thursdays blocked out, but if you need something that day, feel free to reach out and ask; I might be available in the early morning or anytime after 3 PM! I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company, and I can easily crate them if that’s your preference. Feel free to drop off any supplies they might need to feel at home! If I’m dropping by your place, just let me know their usual routine or anything specific you’d like me to do to make them as comfy as possible!

About: I have house sat for many families, and a majority of them had pets. I love getting the chance to connect with a furbaby and take them for fun walks, grooming them, playtime, or just keep them company and lounge if they are more low-key! I have also owned dogs my whole life (Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Jack Russel Terrier/Beagle mix, and currently a 3-year old Cattle Dog mix. I have great experience with an array of different pet types and personalities. One time I house sat and took care for a dog, cat, two goats, and ten chickens. I work 9-5 in the office on Monday-Wednesday. Other days are much more flexible depending on any special events happening that week. I also have a dog of my own to care for. I have been doing pet/house sits across the U.S. and around the world with THS for a few years now and really love it. Pet owners have really appreciated the care and training I provide and it makes me feel good to know that an owner can enjoy their pet even more after some basic behavioral training. I work from home (patent attorney) and make my own schedule. I enjoy playing with pets and going for walks as a work break. I'm very active and enjoy running with dogs and also Onewheeling (hoverboard) with dogs that love to run fast and for long distances. It's great exercise for all of us and the dogs always come back exhausted and ready for nap time. I have an enclosed backyard patio and an extra large doggy door so dogs can come and go as they please. I can also crate dogs that are not house trained and provide frequent potty breaks/walks.

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, frogs, parakeets, hamsters, fish and turtles. I volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a puppy raiser and learned a lot about positive dog training from that experience. I can administer meds (pills, inhaled steroids, subcutaneous fluids) and carry out routine grooming tasks. I have had 4 dogs and 5 cats over my adult years but currently have no pets. I am recently retired and walk about 3-5 miles/day. Miss walking with a dog. I love cats and miss having one around. I am retired and walk 3-5 miles a day so I can easily fit pet care into my weekly routine and I miss walking with a dog. I am very responsible and will follow your instructions and treat your pets (and home if house sitting) with the same care as I would my own. I live on a quiet street in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced yard. I have a cool head in a crisis. I work with one client at a time. If you have two pets, that is ok with me.

About: I have taken care of my own pets and friends for over 10 years. I have a golden Labradoodle that I take care of at home, Every day whether it's walking my dog or feeding him in the morning and at night. I take my dog on hikes at least once every two weeks, and I make sure he was food and water throughout the day. He has a doggy door but if he did not I would make sure he goes potty at least once every 4 hours. When I stay at my friends house to take care of his dog, I treat the house like it is not mine. I clean up any everything that I use and make the house look brand new when my friend and his family get home.
