“Once again, Kacie has gone above and beyond in taking care of our Mister CJ Zachary! We could not be happier with her services and continue to feel so Blessed to know our boy is in such good hands!”

“I highly recommend Melissa. She is dependable and kind. She keeps you informed every step of the way and this makes vacationing with animals a pleasure. Thank you Melissa!”

“Highly recommend Katherine! In addition to being reliable, a definite "pet person", her communication was fantastic - and she takes great pictures! Our cat tends to get "mad" at us when we travel - because of Katherine's daily interaction with him, I felt he would be ok and not be upset and sure enough when we returned he was his same self and not mad at all! I will hire Katherine again asap - she's a true pet-lover and also a great person - can't say enough positive things about her!”

“Holly M. is amazing! She is the best pet sitter I have ever hired. It is very clear how much she loves animals and how much mine love her. My dog is initially apprehensive around new people, and Holly knew exactly how to handle it. She is so friendly and easy to work with, and she is reliable, trustworthy and she goes way above and beyond. Lulu can't wait to see her again! I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

About: I am a trained pastry chef, and have worked in the industry for over 15 years. As much as I love working with food, animals are my heart. With my business degree, I have decided to start my own dog walking business and I absolutely love it! I have been doing it full time since August '23. Experience: I have three labs of my own from 4 to 12 years old, and two indoor cats. I'm very active and love walking my dogs, taking them for hikes, cooking for them, and all around making sure they're happy. I currently have several client's pups that I walk multiple times per week, sporatically, or while they're on vacation. Please send me a message with details about your needs so we can chat more! I have several years of experience of volunteer dog walking from the SPCA. I earned a Pet First Aid and CPR certification through the RECOVER Initiative (Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation), created by Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine. I am a dog walker full time, though I limit the amount of clients I take on so that I can be flexible and available for the ones I have. Currently, I am looking for a few additional long term relationships with pups and their parents who need routine pet care M, T, W, Th and/ or Friday, at least 1 day per week. I service within a ten mile radius of Westbrook, including Old Saybrook, Essex, Clinton, Killingworth, Old Lyme. I tend to take care of pets from 8 am to 5 pm, but am available later or earlier at times, and on weekends on occasion for my regular clients if need be. I am very flexible when it comes to overnights and extended stays for regular clients, and am usually available with plenty of notice. Ask me about me about my *special* routine client rates! Can't wait to hear from you! Every pup and kitty has their own, individual personality/ways of communicating and I am here to take the time to understand them from your perspective, while over time learning from them as well. I value consistency and trust building with animals, and am looking forward to gaining a friendship with a member of your family. When it comes to walks, I am most comfortable using a harness if they tend to be pullers, and if they are, will work with them using gentle, verbal and reward oriented methods I've found effective on my own dogs.

“Vincent was a very attentive sitter and took great care of our cats. One of our cats got sick while we were away. He was in close contact with us regarding his condition and also reached out to our vet to get their advice. I can highly recommend him as someone who can be trusted to look after your pets as he would his own. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him as a sitter again.”

“Paris' drop-in visit is just what our Sadie needed during the evening while we were out. Paris let me know when she arrived, how Sadie was during her visit, sent pictures and let me know when she left. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the area looking for someone to take care of their fur baby/babies. Thank you Paris!”

About: My husband and I recently returned from Costa Rica where we volunteered on a dog farm assisting with bathing, grooming and giving lots of love to almost 2,000 rescued dogs that live there. My husband also has a separate rover account under Maxi S. During my high school/college years my mother trained 5 different dogs for guiding eyes for the blind which I helped in the training process as well while home. I also started housesitting and caring for pets of local neighbors at the young age of 10. We have always had dogs in my home. I couldn’t imagine living without a dog. I have experience with dogs of all ages, puppies to senior dogs. I myself have a 9 year old cocker spaniel who thinks she is a human. I understand all pet owners and their pets have different needs and will respect any rules required to give your pet the care they need. I will treat your dog like my own. My family just returned from Costa Rica. My husband and I are both looking for flexible part time work which allow us to still care for our 1.5 year old son. You can also find my husbands separate rover account under maxi S. At the moment our schedule is open and flexible but as we find work our schedules will be changing depending. We have a good sized yard which is not fenced in but in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac. I don’t usually crate my dog, but if your dogs are crated I am familiar with crate training. I am a flexible person and am able to modify based on your pets needs.

“Kenzie did a fantastic job with Poko. She came as scheduled and sent pictures of Poko while we were out. We just got home and Poko seems very happy. Would definitely like to work with Kenzie again.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them never feels like work—it’s something I truly enjoy. I’ve spent a lot of time with pets and I love getting to know their individual quirks and personalities. Whether it’s a playful pup, an older dog, or a cat, I take the time to connect and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy. I believe pets deserve our full attention and respect, and that’s exactly how I approach every visit. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I’m here to make that easy for you. I’m excited to meet your furry friend and give them the care they deserve! Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I enjoy being active and spending time with animals. I do work part time but I’m able plan my schedule to make sure I’m fully available and focused during each visit or walk, and I always allow time for travel, play, and updates to pet parents. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or evening cuddles, I make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need—no rushing, just quality time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine as closely as possible to keep their pet comfortable and stress-free. I take time to understand feeding schedules, walking routines, and any special instructions so everything stays consistent. I make sure pets feel safe, respected, and loved in their own space—whether that means going for a walk, playing, or simply being a calm presence. At home, I have a dog who I adore. Caring for him daily has taught me how important it is to give pets the attention, structure, and love they need. I make sure he’s well-fed, gets his favorite treats, and always feels included and cared for. That same level of care is what I bring to every pet I look after. Cleanliness and communication are also important to me. I keep things tidy and will always give updates with photos or notes, so owners know their pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life including a senior dog, reactive dog, and a certified therapy dog I helped train. I’m responsible and reliable and will care for you’re pet as if they are my own. I’m in college with classes in the morning and some during the night, but I have plenty of free time, day and nights that I’d love to spend with your pups. I can be extremely flexible. Pets are to be respected in their own space and I will take every precaution to ensure they don’t get out or into anything. Your pets safety is my first priority. I also will love any pup that comes my way.
