“Kate is a dependable, thorough, and professional pet sitter. Our time abroad was stress-free as we always counted on Kate's daily reports with lots of photos of our pets and a detailed overview of each visit. Our cats were happy to see us once we got back and we could tell they were happy under Kate's care while we were away. You would be lucky to book Kate's services!”

“Amber is the perfect cat sitter, she goes above and beyond and we can’t recommend her enough. She did an amazing job in making sure the area was clean, fed and played with both our cats. She even befriended our cat that is notoriously shy to everyone we know. I definitely would love to have Amber watch them again!”

“Crystal is amazing! She’s so trust worthy that our nervous and shy cat actually approached her and let her pet her! This cat is frightened of anyone that isn’t my wife of myself. It was a great example of the level of comfort Crystal provides. Save yourself the time to takes to look at any other Rover person and just book with Crystal. You’ll be happy you did. Susu and Zenny are looking forward to seeing Crystal whenever we’re out of town.”

“Great sitter, our kitties were well taken care of! Phuong was friendly, punctual, followed our instructions, and sent pics and an update everyday, which is great to see while away from our fur babies. :) Would definitely rebook, thank you!”

“Andrea did a wonderful job doing drop in visits for Kona! She took him on long walks, played with him, made sure his water was full, and left him very happy. We would ask her back any time!”

About: I have a B.S. in Animal Biology. I grew up with dogs, hamsters, fish, turtles and chickens. I own three cats currently and cannot wait to get a dog later! I worked in a lab at UC Davis where I cared for aquatic animals (axolotls!!) and I cat sit for friends whenever they are out of town. Growing up with dogs throughout my life, I am well accustomed to their needs. I have also volunteered at animal shelters and an animal hospital where caring for cats and dogs is the name of the game!! I would love to meet your babies and give them the best care. I am a Registered Behavioral Technician that goes to clients homes to administer ABA services. I have flexible hours throughout the day between different clients M-F and I have fully open weekends to care for your babies- dog, cat, or both! When in a clients home, I am respectful and take care to leave things as they were or better. I can follow a variety of care schedules, as I have followed specific lab protocols of care in the past and I have experience with my friends varying animal care preferences and needs.

“Sophie was so attentive and caring towards our kitty! She made sure to drop by a day before to meet her and understand her needs. She sent tons of pictures, and gave Rocita lots of love, even staying more than what was agreed. Thank you Sophie!”

“I was grateful that Hannah was able to check in on Frito while I was in San Jose for the day. He loved going on two walks (!), getting fed and having some company. Hannah is extremely reliable and always provides great feedback after her visits.”

About: We always had animals growing up. We had Cory, our golden retriever until I was about 7. Before I was born she had 9 puppies with a yellow lab (neighbors dog) under my parents care. They found wonderful homes for all of them. At the same time, we always had pairs of cats. We usually adopted them from Oakland SPCA. Unfortunately we ran into many problems like distemper. We eventually got sibling pair Wilma and Fred. They were amazing kitties who loved bringing us “gifts” from beyond the fence. Wilma lived to be 21/22 years old. Now, we have Charlie - a flat coat retriever mixed with everything else with a gorgeous long, shiny, black coat with a HUGE personality. She has thyroid disease, so she takes medicine every day. She’s so smart, she knows the pills help her. She willingly eats her pills out of our own hands. It’s the cutest thing ever. I work full time as a retail visual manager for Williams Sonoma. I work most weekends but my schedule is never fixed so my availability will be often changing. During the week I usually work 9-5 and weekends 11-7:30 /10-6:30. Some days I will work 12-8:30. I work in Marin, so my commute is about 30-40 min any given day there and back. I have experience walking my neighbors pets - when I was a freshman in college home for summer, I was paid to walk my elderly neighbors large German Shepherd every morning. Some days were longer walks and some shorter, depending on the summer heat. I also used to house/pet sit for my high school friend’s house. She had 2 male labs, one elderly and one young unfixed with a ton of energy. I also would house/dog sit for my brothers father in law. They had two small dogs, one young and one elderly. The elderly would have differing health issues, so medication would change. I’ve done eye drops and oral medication.

About: I’ve taken care of different pets in my life as I’ve had my dog for years now since they were puppy as I’m aware of different stages of development to work with kind of dog I run with my dog every day with my brother as well as take them to the park later in the day then again at night if they ask to go out again as I have different routines each day I entertain the dog as I’ll play with them as well as pet them if more energetic or will just watch them to make sure they are ok wherever I’m at

“Thank you Keiki F. for such attendant care, especially for our Keep-her. Thank you for the open communication and photos, and hope to reach out again. I would recommend you to other Rover clients needing house/pet sits.”

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I have a deep love and understanding of animals. Currently, I share my home with two wonderful dogs: a nearly 5-year-old Cane Corso and a 15-year-old Husky/Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. When my daughter comes home from school, she brings her adorable 4-year-old dachshund, adding a bit more joy to the mix. Over the years, I've also cared for a variety of pets, including a cat, snake, bearded dragon, and guinea pig. Whether it’s puppies, seniors, or exotic pets, I’ve always found that animals of all kinds feel comfortable and happy in my care. Babies and dogs alike seem to have a special bond with me! I am currently retired and currently looking for PT employment to pay for future grad school :) I am available most days and nights. My pet care will be tailored to what you do for your fur babies yourself. They will already miss you when you're gone so I will try and make them as comfortable as I can. I am the kind of pet/house sitter that will care for your love ones the way that you do. Your fur babies will miss you but hopefully I can be a stand in pet parent so they will be comfortable in their own environment.

About: With over five years of experience caring for pets of all sizes and ages, I bring dedication, reliability, and genuine love to every pet I look after. I began pet sitting in 2020 while completing a certificate program, and my passion for animals has only grown stronger since. I understand that pets are cherished members of the family, and I treat them with the same level of care and affection they receive at home. My goal is to provide the highest standard of care, ensuring your pets feel safe, loved, and well looked after I am in school Monday- Thursday 8-5. I can do walks or drop in care before and after! 5:30-6am or 6:30 pm. And weekends I can do 7 am or 4pm or anytime after 4pm. I care for every pet as if they were my own, with their well-being and safety as my top priority. You can trust that your pets will receive the same love, attention, and compassion that you would give them yourself. My genuine passion for animals drives me to provide consistent, high-quality care every time.

About: Hi I’m Aurelia! I’m dedicated to sharing in the joy, fun, cuddles, walking, and love of all the dogs and cats I can find (and who find me)! Growing up with dogs and cats at home, I have always loved being around animals. My two dogs have been a German Shepherd mix (Bela) and a miniature poodle (Linzee) so I have lived with and know how to care for large and small dogs! I grew up with two cats, Slate and Pippin. I currently have my own kitty, Thomas.💕 I love dog walking, and I always make sure there is lots of play. Your dog and/or cat will be lovingly cared for and have a super fun time! I look forward to meeting you and your pet :) 🐶 🐈 🩷 I’m currently between jobs (most recently worked for Kaiser Permanente) so I have lots of time to dedicate to your dog or cat, and house-sit if needed! I take house and pet instructions to heart, and make sure I have everything I need to be able to give the best care possible.

Holly H.
“Holly has grown up with pets her entire life, both cats and dogs. When she was young, we had an adult golden retriever. Six years ago, we adopted an eight-week old flat coat retriever. She helped us with training and caregiving for this brand-new member of our family. Holly takes care of Charlie when we are out of town for various reasons. I am always very comfortable when Holly takes care of our puppy-dog. I always know she will be fed, taken for walks and given lots of love and attention. Holly has also done some dog sitting for good friends of ours while they go out of town. They have two dogs and Holly will spend the night during their absence (generally a week or so), feed and walk dogs, and make sure they are all comfortable and happy before she makes her way to her full-time job. We have also had several cats while she was growing up. Our latest kitty lived for 21 years. Unfortunately, we recently lost Wilma due to old age and miss her dearly. Holly is very self-motivated. She worked hard in high school and then proceeded to Northern Arizona University and obtained her Bachelor of Science. Holly will make a great addition to your Rover Team and she comes highly recommended. Thank you, Vicki Hoffman”

Tobias M.
“Toby is so sweet! He has a natural way with animals, and such a love for dogs. They just seem to love his gentle nature right away. I had a senior dog, and although he was grumpy and didn't trust many people, he really responded to Toby and his calm demeanor. If I still lived close by, Toby would be my first choice in dog sitting. Thanks so much, hope to have you look after my dogs again in the future :)”

“Jo is an incredible pet sitter. She has such a natural way with animals, and it’s clear that she genuinely loves what she does. My finicky little dachshund can be hard to please, but Jo earned his trust right away and kept him happy and comfortable throughout her visits. Her attention to detail and kindness shine through, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have found someone so reliable and caring. Highly recommend Jo if you're looking for a pet sitter who treats your pets like their own!”
