“I cannot say enough good things about Alice. Truly. She went so far above and beyond with my dog. She sent me photos and videos every day and my dog. Ocho was so happy with her. I’m not sure he really wanted to come home to be honest. That said, she bathed him the day I picked him up, He came home a better dog than when I dropped him off. Don’t get me wrong, he was a fine dog at drop off. But being with Alice and her dogs helped him to grow up, and she even trained him with a few new commands. She has natural mesquite sticks for the dogs to chew on, got them extra toys, you name it she is a dream. If you want to not only not worry about your dog, but know that your dog is having a joyous and loving wonderful experience, Alice should be your choice. I drove away with my dog, wanting to travel more so that he could spend more time there. I don’t think there’s any higher praise than that.”

“Lacey is an amazing sitter. She always takes the best care of my pup, to ensure her safety and health. I truly believe you can find no better pet sitter than Lacey for your precious pooch!”

“We left our dog Jade with Taura, and honestly, we weren’t sure she’d want to come back home — she had that good of a time! From the start, it was clear how kind, attentive, and genuinely loving Taura is with all dogs. Jade is usually pretty reserved, but she warmed up right away and looked so happy in all the updates we got! We could tell she was in great hands — getting tons of attention, and a peaceful, caring environment. Taura was extremely accommodating with us and is a very caring person!”

About: Hi, I'm Simone. Thanks for visiting my profile! I'm a photographer currently working on a project and living in Joshua Tree. I adore animals more than anything else. Lucky for me, animals seem to love me back, and I connect easily with most cats and dogs that I meet. My two kitties Bert and Ernesto were the loves of my life and I had 13 loving, goofy years with them. I miss them so much. I'm not ready to have any animals of my own, which is why I would be delighted to spend time with and care for your animal/s. In the last year of his life, one of my cats was sick and he required extensive nursing at home. I gave him daily meds including liquids and pills, and I administered fluids via subcutaneous injections for several months. I believe in maintaining a clean environment for animals so that they feel the highest level of comfort possible in their world. I know that cats need exercise, and I prioritize play if they are interested in engaging. I know how stressful it is to travel and leave animals at home. I am highly reliable and trustworthy, and your furry friends are my number one priority. I also love dogs and have walked many dogs for family and friends, however never having one as a pet, I don't prioritize dog care in my profile. I work independently as a photographer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to structure my day around caring for animals. Whether it’s a drop-in or staying overnight, I’m able to give your cat my full attention. When caring for cats in a client’s home, I aim to maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment that keeps your cat comfortable and secure. I’m careful with doors, windows, and potential escape routes, and I always check for hiding spots to make sure everyone is accounted for. I respect your home as if it were my own, follow your care instructions closely, and make sure your cat’s routine stays consistent. I’m also happy to provide updates, photos, or notes if that helps you feel more at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, from puppies to elderly. Great pet friendly home with fully fenced yard. Furniture and beds are a-okay. Experienced with administering meds. I am an artist and at home full time. My own companion recently passed so there are currently no other pets in the home. I have plenty of time to play and snuggle and can’t wait to meet your fur baby! My yard is fully fenced with plenty of room to toss a ball or to just get out the zoomies. There are no off-limits rooms in the home. I have a doggy door but am also happy to take them outside every two hours if they need encouragement. Feeding time is generally 8 and 5. If meds are needed their schedule will be strictly adhered to.

“My dogs loved hanging out at Shawna’s! We were in town visiting from the east coast for a friend’s wedding. Shawna helped me out by watching Maeby and Merle overnight while I was attending the wedding. It was their first ever sleepover without me, so I was a little nervous. Shawna made me feel at ease by discussing expectations before the trip. Once I dropped the dogs off at Shawna’s I knew they were in great hands! Her space is so dog friendly and spacious. She updated us with videos and photos and even gave us the cutest hand written doggy report card afterwards! I would definitely bring my dogs there again next time I am in town! Thanks again Shawna :)”

“Louella is an absolute dream of a dog sitter. She is so kind, sweet, gentle and friendly. She’s also responsible and has excellent communication skills. Her house and yard are beautiful and dog friendly. She took pictures of Bek and gave me updates (he always looked super happy and relaxed) which was great. I also felt like I could relax and be completely present on my vacation, which is a rare feeling when you have someone else looking after your pup. Can’t speak highly enough!”

“Felice! Thank you so so much for taking care of our babies. We recommend Felice to anyone with anxious doggies. She does so well with them and made them both feel comfortable in seconds! Thankful to have found her 🙏🏼”

“Kloie did a great job watching over my pup Stormi on such short notice while I was on vacation. She was communicative and responsive. She sent pictures throughout my time away from my dog. I also like the fact that Storm was able to socialize with other dogs which is important for her upbringing. Kloie will definitely be watching over my dog the next time I have to travel - highly recommended!”

“Destiny was absolutely Amazing. She sent me pics of my dog throughout the day. I have found a dog sitter I trust. Thank you Destiny for loving and caring for my fur baby.❤️”

“Semran is a wonderful sitter! We can tell she quickly learned to read and understand our little Manny. She is a very kind and responsible caring sitter, a great communicator, and her pups, Biscuit and Gooby, are the sweetest!”

“Tayler was absolutely wonderful with my doggo. Sent me lots of picture and video updates. They walked and played with him lots. My dog had a wonderful time at their place and with their Goldie girl, Lady. I just knew my dog was safe and happy while I was away.”

“Monica was an absolute godsend. Not only was she able to sit Kugel for our wedding weekend, but she made herself available to drive him to our wedding venue for some photos on Saturday. She also sent us tons of photos and updates throughout the weekend which helped keep our minds at ease during such a hectic time. We’ll definitely book with Monica again when we’re up in the high desert.”

“Five stars + for Nina! This was our first time with a Rover dog sitter and we really hit the jackpot. Our 8 year old, 13 pound miniature dachshund “Squishy” is the light of our lives, so we searched carefully for the right match before taking a four night trip out of town. We took Squishy to meet Nina the week before we left just to check out her setup. It was love at first sight for Squishy when he met Nina! He immediately broke out his special helicopter tail wag, reserved only for my sister and our long time neighbor in the Bay Area, both of whom dog sat for him over the years. (The Dog Always Knows!) Add in Nina’s expertise in dog care and dog safety (well documented by all her stellar reviews) and our conversation with her that day, we had complete peace of mind when we brought Squishy over the following week. She carefully introduces each dog, so that she can make absolutely certain they will get along. If there’s any question, the dogs are easily kept separate in her home. Nina is methodical and has a plan for dog interaction, feeding time, exercise, play time, and bed time. She also has a clear “in case of emergency” plan, with a vet just down the street. Nina knows her audience. The first day away she send us a lot of pictures and videos of Squishy playing with the other dogs and getting lots of snuggle and lap time with Nina and one of the other dogs, “Gizmo." It was completely reassuring and made our time away worry-free. The review: Squishy had a BLAST with Nina and the dogs staying with her. We’re looking forward to bringing Squishy back to stay with Nina and the gang the next time we go out of town. She has our highest recommendation!”

“Lynn was fabulous! Our Sugar Baby came home from a week stay with a wonderful disposition. No stress at all. That’s the best compliment anyone can give a caregiver. Thanks, Lynn!”

About: I absolutely love cats and dogs. I grew up raising/training labs and German shepherds. I currently have 3 fur babies; my oldest shepherd is actually from my families last litter and our youngest shepherd is a rescue although you wouldn’t know it since they act like siblings. Our cat is also a rescue and prefers to stay out of sight from the dogs but is super friendly and talkative when he meets new people. I had a chocolate lab and took care of him until he was 14. (Diapers , shots, oral medication, you name it he and we probably went through it together) if you have a senior dog I am more than happy to help with any extra care that comes along. I’ve raised all my fur babies (with the exception of our cat) from the puppy stages to the elderly stages. I recently moved here and spend 24/7 with my fur babies so I figured why not spend time with more fur babies! I’m currently available Monday to Friday any time. We do allow the fur babies on the furniture and have a small patio that is fenced in so the dogs can go potty when it’s too hot to walk. We also have a small pool that we regularly set up for the dogs in the back so they can play outside in the heat (supervised). I take my dog on walks before the sun starts cooking us and when the sun goes down to stretch their legs. I can take the dogs to the park and play with them as well😊.

About: I am an experienced pet sitter and walker. I love dogs and cats and currently don’t have any of my own. I have dog sat for up to 5 weeks at a time, and regularly do week-long stints house and pet sitting. I enjoy the time outside, including long walks or visits to the dog park and am familiar with the pet-friendly trails, parks, and the walkable neighborhoods in the high desert. I have a pet-friendly house with a yard that can be fully fenced in when needed. I'm always respectful of other peoples properties and clean up after myself. I work from home and am able to take midday walks with pets or spend time with a dog or cat and make sure they are comfortable while I work from my computer. I have a comfortable home that is secure for pets. I have a yard, but it is not fully fenced so I take pets out for a walk on a leash in the neighborhood. There are nearby pet-friendly trails.

Cindy W.
“Cindy is a total legend! She made Ishkiit feel like she was on a 5-star vacation. From daily updates to playtime pics, I could tell her was living his best life. Ishkiit has a bit of a diva side, but Cindy handled it like a pro. When I came back, she was relaxed, happy, and honestly a little bit spoiled (in the best way). Can’t recommend her enough – Ishkiit’s already looking forward to round two!”

“She will do more than just take care of your fur baby. Her love and dedication for pets goes way and beyond expectations. I will highly recommended without hesitation.”

Hannah S.
“I have known Hannah since college, and she has taken care of my dogs multiple times. I have absolute confidence in her. She is such a loving dog person, and I have so many great memories of my dogs greeting her because they love her so much. She took care of my dog Huck, who was a 65 pound Pointer, and then she has also taken care of my border collie/blue heeler mix Root. Both of my dogs have been very high energy and she handles it with ease. Hannah has a lot of energy to keep up with my dogs and seems very active herself… she has never turned down any extra outside time or hikes or long walks requested for them. I trust her with my fur children, and they always have a great time together.”
