“Alan & Joe were amazing with Sammie. She’s a bit timid when meeting new people. Yet they had her feeling comfortable, and getting belly rubs within minutes of leaving her! Also, they take great pictures and send as many updates as you’d like. Definitely will be using them for future stays!”

“Judith was amazing. She was very good at communicating and sent me lots of pictures of my dog (even though my dog is camera shy). She was really flexible and worked with me when my schedule changed a bit. I will be picking to send Vexy to her house next time we need a Rover.”

“Osamu is an extremely caring, thoughtful, dependable, and responsive sitter. We couldn’t have asked for better care when we left our dog with him and his husband in their lovely home for two weeks. He provided multiple photos daily along with newsy updates. If I could leave a six star review, I would!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Luz sent me pictures of my senior dog sleeping, walking on a brick path, smelling grass, and roaming in a wooded area. I could tell that Cici was happy and that she was in good hands boarding at Luz's property! I appreciated that I didn't have to worry about her.”

“Matt was able to take George with short notice and provided him with a beautiful home and yard in my absence. I particularly liked that George had opportunities to meet other dogs and build his social + play skills!”

“Nueva was a lovely sitter for Johnny. He really enjoyed his stay with her. She updated us throughout the week with texts and pictures, so we could enjoy our vacation knowing that our little dog was having a good time. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely use Nueva again if we travel without our dog.”

“Geri was the best! Don't be fooled by her stern-looking profile photo; she is anything but! Super stylish and kind, with a huge heart. Our Roxy was very happy with her stay with Geri, and her home is beautiful, and every detail was accounted for in making it super doggy friendly. Her lil pup is also very sweet and got along very well with our picky, not-usually-a-dog-person dog, Roxy, which says a lot. Anyway, look no further, we highly recommend choosing Geri for your doggy needs!!”

“Unfortunately, we had to pick up our dog early. However, ARY was very accommodating and helpful with transitioning our furry baby to a friend for his continued stay. She was very communicative and shared plenty of photos of Casper enjoying his stay with her.”

“We can't say enough good things about Louise! She took Raymond into her home and right from the first meeting, we knew he was going to be in the best care. He can be a bit pushy with other dogs but she let him play with her Lacey and they both had such a good time. Louise sent daily updates and photos and we didn't worry about him at all knowing he was in a great place. We highly recommend Louise if you're looking for the best in pet care!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my pit bull with Tony. She is a senior dog, so I appreciated the updates on how she was eating and pooping. Tony sent lots of pictures and communicated promptly. Cici had a nice relaxed time and I could tell that Tony was very caring.”

“Samantha was so lovely and responsive, with much dog expertise! She made sure Oswald felt right at home and I would highly recommend her for anyone needing to board their dog! Thanks Samantha!”

“Our little Harriet had the best time with Shelly! Thank you for taking such good care of her while we were away. We will certainly call upon you again the next time we go away.”

“The perfect stay for your fur child while away! I booked with Mike Last minute due to a health emergency and he went above and beyond to take care of my golden puppy crickett! He sent me lots of pictures and updates that made me feel stress free and could see how great off a time she was having! 10/10 will book again!”
“Jackson was great! Super on top of communication and I felt very comfortable leaving my two dogs with him overnight. I was grateful for the updates with pictures. The pups were as happy as could be when I picked them up. I definitely recommend Jackson and will use him again!”

“Eric was very communicative, friendly, and great with Nelly. He sent lots of updates and photos! We know our dog was in good hands and will be using him again to sit for us.”

About: Dogs have always found their way to me. I've been around them most of my life, and there's something about calm, consistent energy that they seem to respond to. A friend would tell you I'm the person dogs gravitate toward at a party, and I'd say that's probably the most honest qualification I can offer. My most meaningful experience came with my own rescue, a shepherd mix I adopted at 7 months, trained from scratch, and cared for through 15 years of life, including her final year as a senior dog with mobility needs. I became practiced at daily medication administration, wound care, and the kind of patient, attentive routine that older dogs need. Senior dogs are a specialty I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. I work from home full-time, which means your dog won't spend the day alone. I'm here, present, and engaged — great for dogs with separation anxiety or those who simply do better with a steady human nearby. I take one dog (or one bonded pair) at a time, so your pet gets real individual attention. My home in Palm Springs is clean, quiet, and comfortable with direct access to a large greenway for on-leash walks right from my back patio. I know the desert schedule well, so in warmer months walks happen early morning or evening when it's safe and comfortable. I have a car and am happy to help with pickup or dropoff when needed. I'm comfortable with oral medications, mobility assistance, and dogs with special routines. My home is single-level — no stairs. I prefer dogs to sleep on their own bed or the floor (I'll have a comfortable spot ready), and I take one guest at a time to keep things calm and personal. Meet-and-greets are always welcome before a booking.
The median cost per night for dog boarding in Palm Springs is $60
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Palm Springs
Words cannot express how happy we were that our Luna was with Sam. It was our first time away from each other. It’s such a relief knowing that our fur baby was so well cared for. We were extremely appreciative of all the photos and communication that was shared too. Luna has made a lifelong connection with Sam and his partner. Thank you again for everything! 🥰🤗🫰🏼

If you find yourself in need of a dog sitter in Palm Springs, then Vincent (Antonio) is your guy! He was so sweet to our pooch. We could not have found a better person to watch Beau. He even has a nice backyard space for the dogs to roam around. We would definitely use him again if we are in Palm Springs. His house is also very close to downtown which worked perfectly for us.

Dennis took spectacular care of my very large pup. He even picked him up and dropped him off at our house since I wasn’t able to drive him to Dennis’s house. He got plenty of exercise and I got a lot of updates on how he was doing. Highly recommend Dennis for any pet care.

This was my first time using Tony and it was a great experience from start to end. Communication with him was easy and very responsive. He and his wife put me at ease from the moment we first met, so i felt confident Frankie would be in great hands. His wife even took notes of everything i was mentioning about my dog to make sure they remembered all the details. The house is very clean and organized with lots of cozy places for Frankie to hang out. The yard is totally enclosed with a grassy area off the patio and there's a park with shady trees directly across the street for easy walk breaks. Tony kept me informed with pictures daily and let me know how well Frankie was doing. I highly recommend Tony and his wife and would not hesitate to book him again.

Emma was amazing with our 2 boys. This was their first time with a dog sitter & they came back looking extremely happy. Emma was very responsive within a minute of each message. We even forgot to pack the dog food with last minute packing & she went to the store and got our boys some food. We will definitely be rebooking her while we are here in Palm Springs!! 10/10 👌🏾

We couldn't have been more thrilled with the care and attention that Mike gave to our dog while we were away. Mike was wonderful during the initial meet and greet -- giving our dog time to explore the house and become comfortable in a new place. Drop off was equally good. Mike sent regular updates and pictures and let us know everything that was happening. We could enjoy our trip because we knew that our dog was having such a good time. Our dog bonded quickly with Mike's dog Cooper, and the pictures and videos of the two of them playing together day and night proved how happy our dog was. We have never seen him that bonded to another dog -- we almost felt bad going to pick him up! Our return travel plans hit a snag when our flight was diverted to LAX, and Mike was super flexible about everything. He wanted us just to focus on our travel plans and it was not an issue for our dog to stay an extra night. We are already talking about where we can travel to next just so our dog can go back and spend time with Mike and Cooper! We would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Eric is a wonderful dog sitter - he housed our golden retriever and gave her great care, love and attention. Our dog came home happy and healthy. Eric also sent pictures, cute ones! Lastly, we forgot a few key dog items (leash, collar, etc) and Eric was totally flexible and able to adapt.

Second time this month hiring Kevin for boarding. It is such a relief to be able to drop off my dog, Blue, and know he is being well cared for —and having fun. Kevin takes Blue to his fav place, the Palm Springs dog park, and gives him lots of play time. I got in a jam and Kevin helped me out last minute which I truly appreciate.

Dolores took such great care of our dog Daisy! Sent pictures and updates regularly or as requested, followed all care instructions, and gave Daisy love the entire week! Daisy came home with a new toy given to her by Dolores for Christmas. I would leave Daisy with Dolores again for sure! Thank you Dolores!

Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
