About: I have experience taking care of my own pets and lot of stray around my area. I also used to volunteer at the animal shelter and see how they treated and cared for the animals. I understand how important pets are to their families. I am responsible, patient, and caring, and I enjoy spending time with animals. I can help with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I’m currently on summer break from college and have a lot of free time. I would love to be around pets and have a good time! I would be very cautious and careful in your homes while you are away. While I take care of your dog with lots of love and playtime!
“We are so thrilled Sarah had availability to help my partner with dog walks, and using our rescued pit bull/ boxer training tool leash. Thank you Sarah. I was very away but felt like our dog was getting his "love walks" like I was home.”

About: I did start taking care of pets when I was in junior high! I grew up with beagles; I think I’m a fourth generation beagle owner, and my dog Lear is truly a wonderful host . He adores everybody, and they all seem to love him, too. My backyard is essentially for the pups , several lounging areas for the perfect noon time sunbath. We also love the dog park. I’m a senior who spends majority of my time at home with my pups. Lots of attention and interaction , and backyard breaks . Pup heaven! I have a lovely fenced in backyard, and my own pups love sunning themselves all times of the day. I’m normally always home except for quick trips to the grocery store or an occasional lunch out ; otherwise I’m here , hands-on!
“Chris is terrific! We are in Palm Springs for the film festival and were able to squeeze in another movie last minute and Chris is our hero or we should say Rosies hero. He came last minute and took her for a walk.”

“We had come down with this terrible cold, and neither one of us were able to walk our baby, so Rich stepped in last minute with 30 minutes notice to help out. Thanks a bunch.”

“Kevin is unbelievably kind and wonderful -such a nice man and just helpful beyond belief. My dog is definitely having an adjustment period and does not want to leave her mama. He has been incredibly patient with her trying everything he can to get her to trust him and actually leave the house with him. We’ll get there and it’s all because of his patience and flexibility -again his senior dog expertise is beyond compare.”

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I dog-sat a Goldendoodle for two weeks, providing daily walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. Additionally, I cat-sat three cats in Costa Rica, ensuring they were well-fed, comfortable, and received plenty of attention. These experiences have helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility and a calm, caring approach to pet care. I have open availability for pet sitting and related responsibilities, with the exception of one college class. My schedule is flexible, and I'm able to accommodate most timeframes, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I prioritize each pet’s safety and well-being at all times. I follow all instructions closely, keep a close eye on pets during walks, and make sure doors, gates, and any hazardous areas are properly secured. My goal is to provide a calm, safe, and attentive experience for every pet in my care.

About: I have hands-on experience providing reliable, loving care for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, administering basic care routines, and maintaining a safe, calm environment. I prioritize each pet’s comfort, routine, and emotional well-being, treating every animal as if they were my own. I’m attentive to behavior cues, patient with all temperaments, and committed to keeping pets happy, healthy, and stress-free while their owners are away. Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine as a consistent responsibility that I plan around other commitments. On a daily basis, I incorporate feeding, walking, playtime, and check-ins into structured time blocks to ensure pets stay on their normal schedule. Weekly, I schedule pet sitting jobs in advance, allowing time for longer stays, exercise, and maintaining routines like grooming or medication if needed. I prioritize reliability and make sure each pet receives focused attention without rushing or overlap in care. I care for pets in their home by maintaining their normal routine in a familiar, low-stress environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and bedtime routines. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by giving them consistent attention, affection, and supervision. I also keep their space clean, including litter boxes or outdoor areas, and ensure fresh water is always available. I respect the home by keeping it tidy and secure, and I provide updates so owners have peace of mind while they’re away.
About: I personally don’t have any training or senior care experience but I do have experience from my own dog I learn to clean up after her walk or feed her just the basic steps but it is my job to take care of dogs and give them what they need. I’m currently not working due to Covid but I am always available to play with the pups! My schedule is Mondays from 11 AM to 6 PM . I live in a safe gated community with friendly pets, I also have a dog crate for my dog and an extra one for any puppet that I take care of! Plenty of dog food and training pads as well and some turkey snacks too!
About: GROWING UP, MY MOM ONLY ALLOWED US TO HAVE CATS AS PETS. WHEN I WAS 20-YEARS OLD, I ADOPTED MY FIRST PUPPY FROM THE LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK ANIMAL SHELTER. HE WAS AN AKITA/GERMAN SHEPPARD MIX & WE HAD HIM FOR 17-YEARS UNTIL WE HAD TO PUT HIM TO SLEEP 😞. I ADOPTED 4 OTHER PUPPIES AFTER THAT. I EMJOY THE COMPANY OF PETS MORE THEN I ENJOY THE COMPANY OF PEOPLE LOL 😂. PETS ARE MORE LOYAL. I KNOW THAT WE ALL TREAT OUR PETS LIKE OUR CHILDREN, SO WE SHOULD SPARE NO EXPENSE WHEN IT COMES TO PET SITTING/BOARDING. I AM CURRENTLY UNEMPLOYED, SO MY SCHEDULE IS COMPLETELY OPEN. ALSO, MY PROFESSION IS WORKING AS EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT, SO I GET TO WORK REMOTELY. I CAN PROVIDE THE BEST CARE & ATTENTION ACCORDING TO MY SCHEDULE. OUR PROPERTY HAS AN EAST & WEST LAWN AREA THAT IS FENCED IN & SAFE. WE HAVE 3 VERY FRIENDLY & LOVABLE DOGS (6-YEAR OLD WHITE GERMAN SHEPPARD, 13-YEAR OLD COTTON DETULIA & 6-MONTH OLD BOXER). SAFETY & TRUST IS ALWAYS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF PET SITTING/BOARDING. MAKING SURE THAT BOTH HUMAN & PET ARE HAPPY & GET ALONG.
“Bubba (large crazy Aussiepoo) immediately loved Eric when they met. He comes barreling in after his walks. Evidently they have a great time together! Eric is a great person and I am happy my furry friend and he get along so well. Highly recommend”
“This was our first time using Rover, and therefore our first time having Jon walk our dog. We asked Jon to come by each day at 7, as it gets pretty hot here in the desert quite early in the morning. Sammi is used to hour long walks as well. We can say Jon did not disappoint! He was at our house every morning at 7 on the nose and gave our Sammi a full hour walk each day. They walked a mile plus on each journey and Sammi looked forward to seeing him every day. Could not have asked for a better experience!”

“******Highly Recommend******* Nina was amazing with our dog. He is a bit distrustful with new people because he is a rescue but she took her time to let him get to know her. We highly recommend Nina!”

“Erika was good overall. She appeared to have read my profile after booking, which included pertinent information about my dog, and asked questions upon arrival to personalize service. There are no issues or complaints on my end. My dog arrived back home content and tired-the intended goal.”

“Gabe is amazing!! We have a Great Dane and she absolutely adores him! He comes every day, twice a day and he is always on time, so kind and friendly and the dog lets out a howl of joy every time he approaches the door. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Palm Springs
I had a wonderful experience with Molly and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate care. She was professional, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I always felt confident that my pet was in great hands, and I appreciated the updates and photos that gave me peace of mind while I was away. Chewbacca was happy, well cared for, and excited to see her each visit, which says a lot. She was dependable, attentive to my pet's needs, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. I’m grateful for the excellent care and will definitely be booking with Molly again!

Our 8 yr old St Bernard was not impressed with us taking him to the desert & had a tough time adapting to his new surroundings. As a result, we spent a great deal of time inside the house with him during our “getaway”. We are incredibly grateful to have found Chris who proved to be incredibly helpful & reliable for the rare days we needed to break free. He was always prompt to respond to requests & was very accommodating! The report cards & pictures were a Bonus! Thank you so much. Chris!

Once again, JIMMY did an amazing job despite the short notice of my request. My boys love him and loved the walks that he has taken them on. JIMMY is always on time always super polite, and a pleasure to deal with. Cannot recommend JIMMY highly enough.Fantastic Rover experience thanks to JIMMY.

We highly recommend Megan! She walks our Doberman pup twice a week and has been reliable and professional. Her excellent communication (including timely updates and photos) gives us great peace of mind, and it's obvious how much our dog loves their time together.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
