About: I have taken care of dogs for eleven years. As of right now I have two german shepherd, husky mix 1 year olds. I got them when they were 4 weeks old, they are absolutely my best friends. We spend all the time together, we love playing fetch and chase. I’m kind of a stay at home dog mommy. I am not working, I stay at home with my fur babies. I have extra time to help others with their fur babies. I love being around dogs. Im very aware of surroundings, especially with a fur baby. Once when taking my babies on a walk, they were attacked by another dog and it made me become even more protective than I was. I know how it feels to have people not respect the rules that we make for our babies, so I will always be so respectful of everything that is expected/ not expected.
“James is phenomenal. Calm, caring, extremely trustworthy and reliable. I can’t say enough good things. He even took the time for a pre-visit to come and meet us and get the lay of the land prior to our trip. Really grateful for James!”

About: Hello! Don't let my profile location deter you from reaching out, I have a very wide service area. I am available to care for all of your pets while you're away! Please contact me for a quote if you have a pet you'd like me to care for other than a dog or cat (submit it as a dog/cat request) ☺️ New to Rover? I have a discount code for you if you book your first service with me! I am available for night and evening drop-ins to feed and play with your pets. Do you work nights and hate leaving your babies alone? Are you going to a fancy dinner and want to make sure your pets are okay when you're gone? I can come by and give you some peace of mind. I can also care for other pets, including lizards, fish, hamsters, rabbits, etc. I am a huge animal lover. I adopted a senior dog years ago and he was the best dog ever, up until his very last day in December, 2023. Our household has water snails, fish, three cats, a dog, and a pig! I have experience with rabbits and hamsters and other small pets, and I have experience with special needs animals. My longest boarding to date was 5 months for a senior cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia. My schedule recently changed, so I am available on most days for drop-ins and walks. I also offer boarding, house sitting, and daycare. We are a very animal friendly household. I have a fenced yard and a kiddie pool so your doggos can play and keep cool! My piggy will be there to keep your baby company and I have a 14 year old kid who loves to snuggle and play with all your pets! Cats will enjoy their own space so they can feel comfortable ☺️ !!!Important Notes!!!: I love watching and caring for your snuggle bug(s)! However, I have to sleep too. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!
About: Hi hello I’ve taken care of dogs and kittens since I was in the 6th grade.I’ve been house sitting for my uncle since I was 10 and pretty familiar with dogs and cats. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I dedicate time each day to feeding, walking, exercising, and giving attention to pets. I make sure they have consistent care and companionship, fitting their needs around my work and personal schedule. I’m flexible and able to adjust my routine to accommodate walks, playtime, or any special instructions the owner provides. I provide attentive and personalized care for pets, whether in my home or the client’s. I ensure they receive regular meals, fresh water, exercise, and plenty of playtime and affection. I follow all instructions regarding routines, medications, and special needs to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I also monitor their behavior and well-being, reporting any concerns promptly to their owner.

About: Extensive experience providing attentive, one-on-one dog walking with a focus on safety, structure, and personalized care. Every walk is tailored to your dog’s needs. My schedule is open Monday through Friday. On weekends, I work as an Activities Assistant at a care home, which reflects my strong background in responsibility, patience, and compassionate care. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes regular walks, fresh water, playtime, and lots of positive attention. Safety is always my top priority, so I make sure pets are secure, comfortable, and supervised at all times. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, energy level, and any special needs to provide calm, consistent, and personalized care. I also keep owners updated and treat every pet with patience, respect, and the same care I would give my own.
“Ashurina was fantastic! She was able to walk my dog at the last minute when we were stuck in unexpected traffic. She went above and beyond and made sure he had everything he need. Great communication too.”

“Gabe is amazing!! We have a Great Dane and she absolutely adores him! He comes every day, twice a day and he is always on time, so kind and friendly and the dog lets out a howl of joy every time he approaches the door. I’m so grateful that we connected and can’t imagine daily life without his care for our pup! Highly highly highly recommend his services !”

I have a huge fenced yard for your fur baby to play and I also have a 3 year old male Husky named Mikey who is very friendly and will keep your baby company as well. I also have a crate if needed.
About: I’ve been a pet owner since a very young age. Growing up and falling in love with pets, I’ve continued to own and care for my own animals and I will make sure yours are loved and taken care of too! 🐾 I work for myself, so I can do this no problem. It works for me and I know it’ll work for you and your pets. I have a fenced yard and can gladly come to your house if I need to. I’ve cared for both indoor and outdoor pets, so I can work with the preference of your pet and their individual needs.
“This was our first time using Rover, and therefore our first time having Jon walk our dog. We asked Jon to come by each day at 7, as it gets pretty hot here in the desert quite early in the morning. Sammi is used to hour long walks as well. We can say Jon did not disappoint! He was at our house every morning at 7 on the nose and gave our Sammi a full hour walk each day. They walked a mile plus on each journey and Sammi looked forward to seeing him every day. Could not have asked for a better experience!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Briana. I work 12 hour shifts and was super stressed trying to figure out how and when I was going to sneak away each day to walk my dog Brody. I was lucky enough to find Briana on Rover - and she’s been an absolute godsend. She is always prompt, takes great care of him and sends me super detailed notes every day to tell me about their walks - even includes pictures! Makes me smile every time I see them. It’s such a relief knowing he is in good hands while I’m at work. Plus, the difference I’ve seen in my dog is huge. He’s much happier and hasn’t chewed up anything in the house since Briana has started coming over and taking him on daily mini-adventures. 5 stars all day!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats of all types and have been a dog lover for over 40 years. I’m incredibly active, so I love walking and taking them to dog parks. Two of my dogs had diabetes and special elder care needs, so I am able to handle many medical issues/needles. I also especially trained my Border Collie for theater shows and my little shitsu was Toto for live theater. Although, I am not a professional dog trainer, I love cultivating new skills in my dogs and I’m willing to try with yours. I have references and background check information. I run my own part time business, so I am flexible day and night, and can stay overnight as I currently do not have any animals or children of my own. Although I don’t have animals currently, I used to love walking them first thing in the morning, and beyond on that I can tailor excersize to their needs. For my dogs who were diabetic, I had to feed them at strict times twice per day. I am CPR and first aid certified.
“Kevin is unbelievably kind and wonderful -such a nice man and just helpful beyond belief. My dog is definitely having an adjustment period and does not want to leave her mama. He has been incredibly patient with her trying everything he can to get her to trust him and actually leave the house with him. We’ll get there and it’s all because of his patience and flexibility -again his senior dog expertise is beyond compare.”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I currently have a brown tabby cat and a playful Maltipoo, so I truly understand the importance of finding someone you can trust with your furry family members. I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or cuddles, I’m here to provide reliable, flexible, and loving care while you’re away. I currently do not have an hourly job. I am available 8am-4pm Thursday-Friday and I am open on weekends. I go to school Monday- Wednesday but if needed i am available on those days 6pm-10pm. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, their comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. In my home, pets have a calm, clean, and pet-friendly space where they can relax, play, and feel at ease. I do not have a fenced in back yard and i live in a mobile home so potty breaks will be on leash. Because I have my own brown tabby cat and Maltipoo, I make sure any pet staying with me is a good match personality-wise to ensure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. I stick closely to their usual routines—feeding schedules, walk times, and any special care instructions—to help them feel as comfortable as possible. In your home, I make sure to respect your space while giving your pet the same love and attention they’d get from you. I provide regular updates with photos and notes, so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, medication, or quiet companionship, I tailor my care to match your pet’s needs and personality.

About: I have owned 6 dogs through my lifetime, two boxers (Chica and Bella), one fox terrier (Jack), a black mouth cur (Kimber), A pit bull mix (Charlie) and a one eyed Chihuahua (Zoe). I also owned a couple of fish (Cheeto and Elvis) as well as a ferret (also named Jack). I worked as a kennel technician, groomer (I bathed, blow dried and clipped nails only, I did not cut hair) and a doggy daycare counselor as well! I know how to feed, water, walk, bathe, dry and give medications. My love for animals has always gone above and beyond, they deserve nothing less🩷 I have a lot of free time and a goal of starting dental school once I can afford it! If I can reach that goal by meeting and caring for your fur babies, it will be a blessing. I’m available anytime from 8:30 am to 10 pm any day of the week or weekend. I do ask for a 3-4 notice in advance for appointments (scheduling or canceling) please and thank you! For coming to a clients home, I always ask questions and for detailed instructions of pet care. I will follow the schedule, measurements and rules made by the owner to a T. I make sure dogs are being well supervised as well as lots of pets and play time! I am able to take them on walks, give them baths, play, crate and respect the dog (or cat) and owners boundaries. Side note: I cannot do boarding in my own home due to roommates and their pets.
