“My family decided to celebrate a milestone birthday in Indian Wells. I had never left my two dogs with anyone but my family and I was nervous to say the least. In addition, my dogs needed someone who would understand their flaws due to being rescue dogs. I had a phone interview with Elaine and it went really well. She's easy to talk to. She put my mind at ease with all my concerns. She mentioned she has a lot of experience raising dogs as well as being around rescues, which was exactly what I was looking for. Her place was good for my dogs. It was about a 25 min drive to where we were staying but I'm glad we found her. Her place is quiet and in a gated community. I brought a portable pop up crate that allowed my dogs to go in and out when they needed a place to settle down or to sleep in at night. She also took them outside on her bench and out onto the grassy area that backs up to the golf course to have some fun. She answered every text I sent and made sure to send a picture of each dog. She reassured me they were doing well so this allowed me to enjoy my time with my family. Should another vacation arise in this area, I would schedule Elaine again to watch my dogs. “Megan was a lifesaver for our weekend getaway! We were staying at a pet friendly resort but wanted a day where we didn’t have to worry about leaving Dot alone for too long, or bringing her out with us during the hottest time of the year. Even though it was just a single daycare session, Megan provided regular updates and kept our girl happy with plenty of playtime, potty and water breaks. “Although my daughter's service dog goes with us everywhere, we decided it was best to leave him in capable hands while we enjoyed a tip to the Living Desert near Palm Springs, CA. Nuvea was available last minute to care for Huckleberry in her home. He enjoyed a play date with a few fellow canines and a cat. Nuvea was able to accommodate treat time and dinner for him and excursions in her backyard. When we returned Huckleberry was happy and ready to resume his care for his girl. “We loved Louise! She took Lizzie at the last minute so we could ride the Tramway and it went well so we brought her back again to go to Joshua Tree NP. When we arrived that second day Lizzie couldn't wait to get out the Van. She was fussing because it was taking me too long to put on her leash. She ran into the yard with Louise full of joy. Louise has a wonderful back yard with grass and shade. She sent photos of Lizzie throughout the day and we felt 100% at ease leaving her. We will use her again when we're back in town.”

We had a golf trip coming up in Palm Springs, and at first I considered taking my dog to daycare. We even scheduled a meet and greet. About a week before the trip, I decided to book through Rover and wanted to make sure my dog was safe and with a responsible sitter. I chose Amy because she only takes one dog at a time, which worked perfectly for us since my dog does not usually get along with dogs that are bigger than him. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!
About: Joe and I have had dogs (Dalmation) and cats (Ocicats, Siamese) for as long as we've known each other. They become part of the family. We both work from home so your loved ones will get maximum attention, care and love. We look forward to providing the best possible care for your "family" member. The community has one of the best areas for walking dogs with miles of trails.

During Joey's stay, it took her a little bit to get used to the different noises/new environment, but Elizabeth kept me updated and really was just the best for Joey. She sent photos and videos throughout the days that made me feel secure and I knew Joey was in the best hands. Would book with her again in a heartbeat!”

“We found our puppy, an English Bully, on the side of the road, skinny and lost. A week later we required someone to watch him as we left the mountain for medical reasons, and we were a bit frazzled, not knowing who we could get to help us. Then we found Mary and Hugh on the Rover! They were absolutely wonderful and Tonka was in good hands. We were happy to get constant photos showing how Tonka was being cared for and loved. We knew he was alright all the time. We highly recommend this wonderful couple for your puppy sitting needs. They are truly a gift, loving kind and good.”
