“Cesar is amazing!! He took care of my three cats while we were out of town for our wedding, over the past 9 days our kitties were in great care with Cesar’s drop in visits! He went above and beyond our expectations. Truly kept the litter boxes clean and swept around them! He changed their food and water and made sure they were safe! Cesar is trust worthy and respectful! He kept us updated throughout the whole process, sending us lots of loving photos and even keeping us updated on the weather! He is soo kind and truly loves animals, we have gold fish here too, even thou we were feeding them pebbles with the automatic feeder he noticed the fish and added some bounce flacks when he visited (out of the kindness of his heart). “Although my daughter's service dog goes with us everywhere, we decided it was best to leave him in capable hands while we enjoyed a tip to the Living Desert near Palm Springs, CA. Nuvea was available last minute to care for Huckleberry in her home. He enjoyed a play date with a few fellow canines and a cat. Nuvea was able to accommodate treat time and dinner for him and excursions in her backyard. When we returned Huckleberry was happy and ready to resume his care for his girl. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. I studied animal science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, so I can also care for livestock and various species of animals more than cats and dogs as well. About: I’ve have taken care of dogs ever since I was a teenager. I love taking care of dogs they bring me such a joy. I know that each dog has their own personality and I love seeing them shine in there own ways. I have taken care of dogs as young as 6 months old to dogs that are 9 years old. I know that senior dogs definitely need more attention when it comes to potty breaks. I also have changed dog diapers. I also grown up with large dog breeds such as Pitbulls, Rottweilers and Huskies. I have also taken care of small dogs such as toy poodles, schnauzer and pekingese. I currently work as a property manager for an Airbnb that runs within my home. Which gives me the flexibility to watch pets. I understand that each pet has their own needs and I want to do what’s best for them. About: Dogs have always found their way to me. I've been around them most of my life, and there's something about calm, consistent energy that they seem to respond to. A friend would tell you I'm the person dogs gravitate toward at a party, and I'd say that's probably the most honest qualification I can offer. My most meaningful experience came with my own rescue, a shepherd mix I adopted at 7 months, trained from scratch, and cared for through 15 years of life, including her final year as a senior dog with mobility needs. I became practiced at daily medication administration, wound care, and the kind of patient, attentive routine that older dogs need. Senior dogs are a specialty I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. I work from home full-time, which means your dog won't spend the day alone. I'm here, present, and engaged — great for dogs with separation anxiety or those who simply do better with a steady human nearby. I take one dog (or one bonded pair) at a time, so your pet gets real individual attention. My home in Palm Springs is clean, quiet, and comfortable with direct access to a large greenway for on-leash walks right from my back patio. I know the desert schedule well, so in warmer months walks happen early morning or evening when it's safe and comfortable. I have a car and am happy to help with pickup or dropoff when needed. I'm comfortable with oral medications, mobility assistance, and dogs with special routines. My home is single-level — no stairs. I prefer dogs to sleep on their own bed or the floor (I'll have a comfortable spot ready), and I take one guest at a time to keep things calm and personal.
