“Samantha was very responsive, sent pictures and a video of my dog, and was very kind and generous when I was late for dropping off and picking up my dog. The home and backyard was a great environment for my siberian husky and she was great to work with. I would absolutely recommend her help to anyone needing a dog sitter if you're in the area.”

“Geri was the best! Don't be fooled by her stern-looking profile photo; she is anything but! Super stylish and kind, with a huge heart. Our Roxy was very happy with her stay with Geri, and her home is beautiful, and every detail was accounted for in making it super doggy friendly. Her lil pup is also very sweet and got along very well with our picky, not-usually-a-dog-person dog, Roxy, which says a lot. Anyway, look no further, we highly recommend choosing Geri for your doggy needs!!”

“What a great dog boarding experience. The host was so friendly, and made us and our dog feel right at home. He was well taken care of and we would definitely have him stay with the host again. Thank you!”

“Nuvea was amazing! She’s super nice and took such good care of my two dogs while I was away. They looked so happy and relaxed when I picked them up. She really treated them like her own, and that means so much to me. I’ll definitely be bringing them back next time — highly recommend her! 🐶💖”

“Awesome with my older Great Dane! He loves going here. Megan is so sweet to try and comfort him when he gets anxious being away from mom & dad. We’ve used her a few times already and have another trip planned next month. We feel Cooper’s in excellent hands with Megan!”

“Judith was amazing. She was very good at communicating and sent me lots of pictures of my dog (even though my dog is camera shy). She was really flexible and worked with me when my schedule changed a bit. I will be picking to send Vexy to her house next time we need a Rover.”

“Viviana and her husband were the kindest and perfect dog watchers. Their home is very cute and you know from meeting them once that your dogs are in good hands. Good communication and ease throughout. 10/10 recommend.”

“This was Whiskey’s second stay with Alan and Joe, and he absolutely loved it! Alan and Joe do an amazing job of making you feel at ease and completely comfortable leaving your fur baby in their care. We will definitely have Whiskey stay with them again. He loves them, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they provide!”

About: I love small dogs they have the biggest hearts! I’ve had pets since I was kid and have helped others with pet care needs 😀 I recently retired and have lots of extra time and thought what a better way to spend my time! Taking care of small dogs ! I have a fenced yard and plenty of room in the house for your fury baby to roam. I have no other pets at the moment so yours will have my full attention.

“Lacey was amazing. She went all out for my dog. She sent updates and pictures. My dog enjoyed every minute. You couldn't get a better pet sitter. I would highly recommend her. I will definitely have her pet sit my dog again.”
“Osamu was just excellent, providing many photos and videos of Bobo's stay with him. Bobo oriented to Sam (Osamu) within a day and was very affectionate, and was rewarded with lots of lap time and pets. He was very happy as the photos and videos showed, which was a great relief for me. Thank you for the love and care for Bobo Sam!”

“Elaine was great taking care of our 2 dogs overnight. One was a newly rescued dog and we weren’t sure how she would get on at a new place. Turns out she was calm and relaxed at Elaine’s home and had a good time!”

“April took care of my dog Leo for almost two weeks. She sent updates of Leo playing and being so happy! When I picked Leo up, I could tell he didn’t want to leave. Thank you April for taking such good care of my pup when we were gone :)”

“If you find yourself in need of a dog sitter in Palm Springs, then Vincent (Antonio) is your guy! He was so sweet to our pooch. We could not have found a better person to watch Beau. He even has a nice backyard space for the dogs to roam around. We would definitely use him again if we are in Palm Springs. His house is also very close to downtown which worked perfectly for us.”

“Carl took amazing care of my pup!! He was very professional and had a lovely home. My dog got along well with his pups, and he played with her as if she was one of his own. I fully intend to use Carl again in the future!”

“Our 2 year old Basset, Odie, had the time of his life. He and Todd and his 2 Shih Tzu bonded instantly. Video updates showed how much Odie was enjoying his stay. Thank you Todd. Absolutely the best!”

“Our boy has had such great TLC on this trip, and we cannot thank Rose enough for all the pics, updates, and snuggles she provided! We are also thankful to Rose for being so accommodating when our plans changed a bit.”

“I’m not sure what I can say that hasn’t already been said about Mike and Stephen. They were awesome to work with. We kept changing our times for drop off and pick up and they were extremely accommodating. During their stay Mike sent several pics and videos of the dogs having a great time. We are really happy we found them to watch our pups and highly recommend them!”

Alfonso is great! He is super chill and very friendly. Communication with him was great, he is responsive and provided lots of pics and videos of Jimmy! These will come in handy to help him find his forever home. He was incredibly flexible l, especially with the last minute request. I will definitely book with him in the future whenever im out of town.

I can’t say enough about Gilbert . His home and his compassion for animals is 100% 5 stars. It was our first time leaving out big boy and I can honestly say I will be using Gilbert again. Gilbert took such amazing care of Tucker and actually spent quality time with him exercising him which is something that is very important to us . If you need someone you can trust to love your fur baby then look no further .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
