Hi, I’m new-ish to Rover and I’m so excited to have the chance to be a care sitter for your furry boy/girl! I’ve been raised around dogs from a variety of breeds since I was 10 years old when I got my very first dog, a miniature Schnauzer named Tank. My dad made it very clear that if I wanted a dog, the responsibility would be mine, and so from that age I learned how to care for him myself—feeding, walking, cleaning up, and making sure he was happy and well cared for. Since then, caring for dogs has always been something that comes naturally to me. I understand what our furry friends need for each stage of their life and their quirky qualities🐾 I have 2 large breed working/guard dogs and raised them how to sit, stay, down, drop it, and come as far as basic commands go, if there’s anything your pet needs considering training needs I’m eager to know and learn about them 😁 Either way, I love all dogs no matter the background, my focus is that they are cared and loved as if they were at home!

Raquel is fantastic! She watched our golden retriever, Bradley for almost a week. Raquel kept Bradley safe and well exercised. She has great communication skills and loves dogs. We hope to have Bradley stay with Raquel again. 5/5 stars.
Raquel was very sweet and accommodated our last minute booking. She did wonderfully with our big pups.
Raquel was AMAZING!!! Our boy is mildly special needs and she kept him happy and safe. I cannot think of anywhere else I would have felt comfortable leaving him. She is our #1 in Palm Springs area.
Raquel was great and Zena enjoyed having Dexter and Max for company
Raquel did a great job taking care of our Luke she walked him and he loved playing with the other dogs
Raquel was communicative, accommodating, and flexible with my schedule. My dog Kiki stayed with her for two days and when she came back a second day she clearly enjoyed the day prior because she was happy to return. Thank you so much!

Schedule
I’m work from home—pet care fits right in my schedule since I’m home all day and am available to walk, feed, water, and train them as needed and on my breaks!

Safety, trust & environment
I’m adaptable and fully flexible to your pets schedule, needs, and routine. I have medium and large sized crates as well as a 1200sq ft backyard fenced off if they want to get active any time of the day! If you have any toys for your furry friends to fetch or to chew bring them along!🐾 I am also within 5 min of the dog park and love taking my dogs to stretch their legs, so walks are with purpose and reward always! Please let me know if there are any accommodations I can provide and make for your pup and I’m happy to be of service. My upmost priority is to ensure your pup is having a comfortable, relaxing stay and is nurtured all the way through.

A typical day
My favorite activity is enjoying fetch in my big fenced yard with little training moments. I love giving pups plenty of space to play. My neighborhood is also private enough to take quiet, cozy walks around!
