About: I have experience taking care of my own pets and lot of stray around my area. I also used to volunteer at the animal shelter and see how they treated and cared for the animals. I understand how important pets are to their families. I am responsible, patient, and caring, and I enjoy spending time with animals. I can help with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I adopted a senior dog years ago and he was the best dog ever, up until his very last day in December, 2023. Our household has water snails, fish, three cats, a dog, and a pig! I have experience with rabbits and hamsters and other small pets, and I have experience with special needs animals. My longest boarding to date was 5 months for a senior cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia. My schedule recently changed, so I am available on most days for drop-ins and walks. I also offer boarding, house sitting, and daycare. We are a very animal friendly household. I have a fenced yard and a kiddie pool so your doggos can play and keep cool! My piggy will be there to keep your baby company and I have a 14 year old kid who loves to snuggle and play with all your pets! Cats will enjoy their own space so they can feel comfortable ☺️ !!!Important Notes!!!: I love watching and caring for your snuggle bug(s)! However, I have to sleep too. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!

About: My hours are 8 am to 6 pm. If you really care for your pet, give them the BEST. I am not a boarding kennel. I take only SEVERAL PETS at any given time so that they can receive my FULL PERSONAL ATTENTION. I WORK FROM HOME SO AM ALWAYS AVAILABLE. Leaving the area for a vacation or visiting beautiful Palm Springs, why not let your favorite pet enjoy a little rest and relaxation in the desert? Your loving friend will receive VIP care and attention 24/7 in my beautifully landscaped yard enclosed by an 8 foot brick wall. They will have access to two separate yards through two doggy doors. Space is limited so that your dog receives personal attention. Any special feeding habits, veterinarian contacts and vaccinations are requested. I look forward to talking and meeting with both you and your pets. If possible, a "Meet and Greet would be recommended to acclimate your pets to my environment, helping them to better adjust to something new in their schedule. I work at home so have plenty of time and attention to play with your fur babies, I am available for boarding seven days a week. I have a high brick walled yard. My environment is very safe and secure and over 15 years have never had a pet escape. I can always crate your dog if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life, I’ve taken care of my grandmas dogs, my friends animals, house sat for my sister and her dog, I’ve even house sat for 4 big dogs at one time! It was fun! Feel free to trust me with your fur babies! I’m working part time, so my availability varies each week but I have a pretty open schedule, just message me for more info and if I get info ahead of time I can schedule myself off. If I am unable to get the days off I can still watch your pet, just be understanding that I have to work still but will be back as soon as my shift is over. At the moment I have 3 dogs, i have two pugs a male and a female and a puppy German Shepard who’s a bit crazy but so well behaved for his age. My cat lives here as well and she is my cuddle buddy.

“This was our first time using Rover, and therefore our first time having Jon walk our dog. We asked Jon to come by each day at 7, as it gets pretty hot here in the desert quite early in the morning. Sammi is used to hour long walks as well. We can say Jon did not disappoint! He was at our house every morning at 7 on the nose and gave our Sammi a full hour walk each day. They walked a mile plus on each journey and Sammi looked forward to seeing him every day. Could not have asked for a better experience!”

Im comfortable and familiar with needs like ear/wrinkle cleaning, baths, and administering medicine. I bought my house specifically for its big yard for my dogs and I would love to share the space with others. I work from home full time M-F with a super flexible schedule so i’m available on short notice and at all times during the week. I have a large fenced yard and two extremely friendly and playful dogs who would love to play with any pet im sitting for or boarding. I also helped in my mother's care who had muscular dystrophy and my father, who had dementia. I'm a semi-retired entertainment publicist who spent the last 18 years in Los Angeles. Living in the desert has equipped me with the skills to care for animals in a harsh climate such as constantly providing water, scheduling walks out of the heat, and watching out for wildlife.
