About: My first job was walking and caring for dogs. Trying to get back to that. I can care for all dogs, all types and sizes(: Any type of care your pup needs I can do. Just ask to be communicative so I know how to take care of them well. I make my own schedule for work. So, I can care for pets at any time of the day. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!

Whether it was a shi tzu to a german shepard to a lab, to a horse, I'm a true animal lover. Additionally, I took care of a friend until the end, he got Long-Term Covid in 2019 and died in Feb 2024. I also helped in my mother's care who had muscular dystrophy and my father, who had dementia. I'm a semi-retired entertainment publicist who spent the last 18 years in Los Angeles. After being a part-time resident in PALM SPRINGS since 2008, I'm now a full-time resident that truly loves the desert and no remorse from leaving LA. From puppies all the way to senior dogs and kittens all the way to elderly cats. *please know that while my listed prices are accurate additional surcharges may apply. (All prices will be disclosed before booking) I have a lot of availability for pet care in my schedule, I do have college classes I must attend and the occasional appointment with these being non-negotiable blocks of time I must leave the clients home to attend (which will be discussed ahead of time). However aside from that I have a plethora of time available to dedicate solely to your pet(s). *jobs that are “constant care” and/or have strict rules regarding how long the pet(s) can be left alone WILL incur a surge charge. I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).

About: I have cared for animals of all kinds for over 32 years. As a young child, I was drawn to just about any animal you can think of. I am very detailed and will put your pets first. I am recently retired but now work a couple of days a week, but for only 1/2 days. I do have flexibility in my schedule. My dogs have a safe fenced in area but spend most of their time indoors. I walk and/or exercise them at least two times a day. One of my dogs has medical needs that I handle. My donkeys' food is weighed out to avoid obesity. I think it is important that I earn the trust of a new animal and build on that. Exercise and training can be helpful to pets that will be spending time alone. I am a firm believer that each animal is unique and requires an approach that works for them.
