My wife Amanda has over 5 years experience in the pet care industry from grooming to administering oral medications. I am a disabled Veteran and a stay at home dad so I have plenty of time to check-in, visit or care for your fur babies. About: For as long as I can remember we had dogs and cats in our household. I've had my own German Shepherd and pitbull now for quite some time, and I can say that truly are apart of the family As of now I have plenty of time to dedicate to this duty. I am full time student but currently in between semesters, and my reserve military requirements only takes up a bit of my schedule. Maintain a proper safe fence structure. Also a steel framed kennel that is 8x24 feet so my two dogs have plenty of space to roam about. I also allow my dogs inside at night time for a nice slumber.

About: I have cared for animals of all kinds for over 32 years. As a young child, I was drawn to just about any animal you can think of. I am very detailed and will put your pets first. I am recently retired but now work a couple of days a week, but for only 1/2 days. I do have flexibility in my schedule. My dogs have a safe fenced in area but spend most of their time indoors. I walk and/or exercise them at least two times a day. One of my dogs has medical needs that I handle. My donkeys' food is weighed out to avoid obesity. I think it is important that I earn the trust of a new animal and build on that. Exercise and training can be helpful to pets that will be spending time alone. I am a firm believer that each animal is unique and requires an approach that works for them.

If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. I studied animal science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, so I can also care for livestock and various species of animals more than cats and dogs as well.
