About: Hi my name is Alexa and I am 20 years old. I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals and caring for them as if they were my own. My experience includes volunteering at animal shelters, participating in foster programs, and working on ranches—giving me hands-on skills with pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’ve cared for animals with medical needs, including administering oral medications and giving needle injections, so you can feel confident your pet will be in capable hands. On top of my professional experience, I’m a devoted pet owner myself and understand how important it is to have someone you trust. My goal is simple: happy, healthy pets and peace of mind for you. I’m a full-time college student with mostly online classes and a flexible part-time job, which means I have plenty of availability for pet sitting and dog walking! I can work around your schedule—whether it’s early mornings, midday walks, or evening visits—so your pets get the care they need when they need it. When I care for your pets in your home, I treat them like family. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. From feeding, walks, and playtime to snuggles and quiet companionship, I give them the same love and attention I give my own animals. I also respect your home, keeping everything clean and secure so you can return with total peace of mind. Your pets’ happiness, health, and safety are always my top priority.

I work from home Monday- Friday so my flexible schedule allows me to to spend time with your pup giving them attention and lots of cuddles. My front gated patio is great place for your pup to sun bath and get some fresh air. If your prefer your pet to be inside all day I can tailor to your needs. Ultimately, my concern is the safety and happiness of your pet.

I am currently working three days out of the week and also pursuing my education in nursing! So I tend to be flexible when needed I provide personalized care for pets in both my home and clients' homes, focusing on their unique needs. This includes regular feeding, exercise, and playtime, as well as ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Communication with pet owners is key, so I send updates and photos to keep them informed and reassured. Whether it's dog walking, pet sitting, or overnight care, my goal is to create a nurturing experience for every pet.

About: Hello! I have been around pets of all kinds my entire life. I volunteer at a local ranch taking care of livestock and ranch dogs. I am currently almost done with my Biology degree and from there will be going to vet school. I am super knowledgeable about animal care and strive to improve the lives of all pets! I have hand raised newborn kittens and puppies and cared for senior dogs as well! I am currently a Full Time College Student so my schedule will change from semester to semester. But I am free and available other than that I have a nice fenced in front and back yard with different sized crates available to keep them nice and safe and confined if needed.
About: I have taken care of the dogs in my family over the years when my family members travel for work or vacation. I treat them the same as my own pets in my home. Lots of walks and love! I am semi-retired and have open availability most of the week. My wife will be available to take care of the pets when I do have a client for my other job or an appointment. I have a fenced yard but prefer to keep pets inside with my dog and cat. They can all play and rest together. I walk my dog two or three times a day, so I would take your dog with us. I also enjoy running and would love to run your dog if they are up to it.
About: My experience with pets is great. I have always had to care for my own pets which include dogs, bunnies, frogs, hamsters, and some reptiles. Two of my dogs have had multiple litters and I have had to care for them. I currently own 1 male Boston Terrier and 1 female French Bulldog. I enjoy taking walks with fur friends and having to watch them all day brings happiness to my life. I have a really big yard for active dogs to run around and play in. I allow dogs in my home. I also love to cuddle with my pups and show them the love they deserve.
About: Hello! I have years of experience with family and friends’ dogs, but mostly at an animal shelter ! I volunteered there for 2 years, walking, feeding, and cleaning up after different sized dogs. :) I now have a 7 year old husky named Khoda (in the picture!) that I rescued from the shelter 2 years ago. All I’ll say is huskies have lots of character, so I’m used to all of it ! Haha. With that said, I know how much energy (some) dogs can have. I would be happy to have a quick play session with your best friend ! I have also had a puppy and understand the attention it takes! I’m generally available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and love helping pet parents with walks, drop-ins, and pet care during those days. Tuesdays and Fridays are usually dedicated to my regular work schedule, though there may occasionally be some flexibility depending on the week. If you have specific dates in mind, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to check my availability and see how I can help! As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. The safety and comfort of every pet in my care is my top priority. I will follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I am also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and receiving plenty of attention.

About: I used to be a dog groomer in NM and worked at a pet store before moving out here to CA. I love animals. My cat was a bottle feeder who I fostered but couldn't give up so I adopted her. She is a curious creature who may not like dogs but puts up with them :) I am open to new challenges and would like to stay intuned with caring for animals. Let's chat.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Beaumont
Alexa was fantastic! She was very communicative from the moment I booked, worked with my schedule, and took great care of my two large dogs, Tundra and Lluna. She kept me updated throughout each visit, asked questions when she needed clarification, and even let me know immediately when my dogs accidentally broke part of their water dispenser. I really appreciated her honesty and professionalism. She went above and beyond by handling two strong, energetic dogs with patience and a positive attitude. It gave me great peace of mind knowing they were in good hands while I was working. I would absolutely book Alexa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog walker. Thank you so much, Alexa!

- 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
