“Jayne was so thoughtful and attentive taking care of our two cats. She went above and beyond to communicate with us each day, and when we got home it was evident how much care she had put into ensuring their spaces were clean and their needs were met, including playtime and feeding. We came home to two very happy cats. We are so grateful to have found her and will definitely reach out to her the next time! Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been a pet parent for 9+ years and currently have 2 large dogs and a small dog. My pets personalities range from grumpy old lady to hyperactive toddler so I am comfortable with all energy levels. I am new to Rover and excited to play with all the puppies on my days off. I’m a labor and delivery nurse so I typically only work 3 days a week. My work days aren’t the same every week but I get my schedule ahead of time so I can update my availability as the schedule comes out. I am available for drop in visits to give medications, feed or just show your pups some love. Please let me know if your pets are allowed on the furniture or if there are any other restrictions while I am keeping them company.
About: I talk my friends and family in to going on vacation JUST so I can watch their pets so that's two decades dealing with all types of cats/dogs. I can provide peace of mind when you are away from your little furballs. 95%+ lifetime animal/pet approval rating. On time, reliable and infinitely patient. Pro-Pet Vet(eran) - I can assist with basic training for little ones and I can read instructions properly for your spoiled/elderly pets. I work from home so I have lots of time to spend with other people's creatures. I can walk your (multi)pups or stop in for quick home care for dogs/cats/other whenever YOU need. House-sitting is also available but let's talk first. My cat just sleeps all day so she's covered. Very flexible schedule, honest and reliable. I have no interest in snooping through your residence! I am there for the pet, that's why I do this. I will treat your critter like I treat every other animal I see. With cuteness. I'm a large dog so I can handle large dogs too - even the ones that think they are still tiny.
“Melissa is so sweet and caring for our kitties! She sends plenty of pictures and we felt very comfortable having her take care of them. We will definitely use her services again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for 8+ years, from big to small. Safety is my #1 priority, my goal is to provide the smoothest and most enjoyable stay for your dog. Here are some things I do and do not do if you are to pick me to watch your dog. I DO: - walk dogs at least twice a day -provide mental exercise (sniffing exercises, basic training, puzzles, etc) - keep all dogs on a schedule - if allowed, take your dogs to walk and play in stress free outdoor environments (no dog parks) - provide any special accommodations that your dog needs - give lots of love and companionship to your dog - keep all boarding dogs in my sight at all times - keep a leash on your dog at all times outdoors I DO NOT - take dogs to dog parks - introduce your dogs to my dogs, they will be separate at all times, when I have dogs boarding, my dogs occupy a separate space (safety reasons for all parties) -give any unauthorized treats or food to your dog If you have any questions about my services please feel free to message me. I hope to get the pleasure to watch and care for your dog as I do my own. I currently work from home a few days a week and I am off on the weekends. I will take your dog on 2-3 walks a day, provide puzzles for mental stimulation and also provide the affection that dogs enjoy. I do have 2 other dogs but I always keep dogs separate with limited to no interaction for safety reasons. I live in a home with a fenced back yard with a good amount of space. Our community also has a park ,which I can take the dogs to wander and sniff the environment. If I were to go to your home I will make sure your pet has all its needs taken care of!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Beaumont
Jayne & Gary are THE BEST pet sitters! We left our fur babies for a much needed vacation. We have an elderly cat that doesn’t always make it in the box. She cleaned it up for us and just explained that it was part of her job. Such a great attitude and great care of our babies. She also cuddled our cuddliest cat who really misses her person, my daughter. Rover and the people who serve as pet sitters are very reliable and pet enthusiasts who really care. I will hire them again in the very near future!

Alexa was prompt to our check-in appointment with our cat, Korra, and we truly appreciated her care and professionalism. She made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their furry family members.

- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
