*updated April 2026, very important please read before requesting a booking!* I work the days Wed-Sat 7AM to 5:30 PM so during these times I am blocked off and cannot accept any sort of drop ins during these times. However if those hours work for you as far as house sitting or before/ after for drop ins then I am more than open to making something work! This job is a full time seasonal position so it is only temporary and as of now I am not sure when it will be over! Again please carefully review these days and times as I cannot make my Rover calendar accurately reflect this availability! Thank you! :))

I can’t tend to pets in my own home unfortunately due to renting rules however I would really love to. I can say this is another big reason I decided to sign up to be a sitter for Rover. I can’t necessarily have my own pets, but I would love the opportunity to take care of other pets AND help someone out who needs it! When it comes to tending to pets in others homes, I make sure to listen to whatever the house rules are and that I have a complete understanding of what is expected of me! A big thing is I also really try to leave a house cleaner than I found it.

If there are any special details, circumstances, or anything really at all that you would like for me to know ahead of time please do so! I want to make sure that I’m completely equipped to give you and your pet the best service! I have recently decided that any large dog request I most likely cannot and won’t accept due to safety reasons, however it’s always worth a try to reach out and see if we can work something out!
Ein typischer Tag
A typical day or dog walk looks different with each dog! I first try to get a read on whether a dog is more playful or whether they need their space to warm up to me. I am completely patient and cannot stress enough how important it is that each dog is unique with what they like and don’t like. I love to do a range of activities from running and walking, fetch with varying toys, tug of war, and of course the occasional pup cup run!! :)

I have been actively taking care of various pets on Rover since April 2024! Before this I also owned both cats and dogs for many years. From this I have been able to gain lots of experience. There are multiple people locally who have me repeatedly come and see their pets so I have even gained lots of connections and bonds as well. I think this is super important when caring for any animal is the emotional bond!

Malyssa always does a great job with checking in on our 4 dogs! She’s super sweet, detailed oriented and efficient!
Malyssa did a wonderful job with my cat! She did everything I asked of her and then some. She is incredibly gentle and kind as well as extremely responsible giving LOTS of TLC. In addition she communicated with me giving updates on Lily and pictures too! I would absolutely reach out to Malyssa to pet sit for me again without hesitation!
