She sent pics and assured me...I would trust her with anything now. I'm so happy to say, we consider her a part of the family! Thank you again April for everything. You made everything easy and calm for all of us. Jim S.”

About: Hello! I have been around pets of all kinds my entire life. I volunteer at a local ranch taking care of livestock and ranch dogs. I am currently almost done with my Biology degree and from there will be going to vet school. I am super knowledgeable about animal care and strive to improve the lives of all pets! I have hand raised newborn kittens and puppies and cared for senior dogs as well! I am currently a Full Time College Student so my schedule will change from semester to semester. But I am free and available other than that I have a nice fenced in front and back yard with different sized crates available to keep them nice and safe and confined if needed.
About: I talk my friends and family in to going on vacation JUST so I can watch their pets so that's two decades dealing with all types of cats/dogs. I can provide peace of mind when you are away from your little furballs. 95%+ lifetime animal/pet approval rating. On time, reliable and infinitely patient. Pro-Pet Vet(eran) - I can assist with basic training for little ones and I can read instructions properly for your spoiled/elderly pets. I work from home so I have lots of time to spend with other people's creatures. I can walk your (multi)pups or stop in for quick home care for dogs/cats/other whenever YOU need. House-sitting is also available but let's talk first. My cat just sleeps all day so she's covered. Very flexible schedule, honest and reliable. I have no interest in snooping through your residence! I am there for the pet, that's why I do this. I will treat your critter like I treat every other animal I see. With cuteness. I'm a large dog so I can handle large dogs too - even the ones that think they are still tiny.
“Trisha did such a great job with my dogs while I was away. She showed up every day and made sure they had food and water and even gave them a treat. She gave them lots of attention and played with them which they really enjoy. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone that needs dog care.”

About: I’m a former dog groomer with experience handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments from playful puppies to anxious seniors. I can quickly recognize signs of stress, illness, or injury in both dogs and cats, and I’m always calm and gentle, especially with older pets who need extra care. I treat every animal like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Taking care of animals is one of my favorite parts of the week! Whether I’m going for a walk, giving belly rubs, or just hanging out with a furry friend, it never feels like work. I have a flexible schedule, so I love fitting pet care into my day it keeps me happy, active, and surrounded by wagging tails and purrs. Pets make life better, and I’m always excited to spend time with them! When I’m in a pet’s home, my goal is to make them feel safe, relaxed, and totally at ease, like their best friend just walked through the door! I always follow the pet parent’s instructions closely, stick to the pet’s usual routine, and keep things calm and familiar. I’m respectful of your home, keep things clean, and make sure your pet gets plenty of love, playtime, and attention while you’re away. You can trust that your furry family member is in good hands!
About: I have taken care of the dogs in my family over the years when my family members travel for work or vacation. I treat them the same as my own pets in my home. Lots of walks and love! I am semi-retired and have open availability most of the week. My wife will be available to take care of the pets when I do have a client for my other job or an appointment. I have a fenced yard but prefer to keep pets inside with my dog and cat. They can all play and rest together. I walk my dog two or three times a day, so I would take your dog with us. I also enjoy running and would love to run your dog if they are up to it.

“Melissa and Co. was such an amazing pick for my pets and I! I am so happy that I ended up finding her, she was so attentive to the needs of my babies and went above and beyond my expectations. The photos were such a joy to have while away, I actually want to frame some of them! I really hope they are able to be regulars for my pets, because I couldn't ask for better sitters.”

About: I have cared for animals of all kinds for over 32 years. As a young child, I was drawn to just about any animal you can think of. I am very detailed and will put your pets first. I am recently retired but now work a couple of days a week, but for only 1/2 days. I do have flexibility in my schedule. My dogs have a safe fenced in area but spend most of their time indoors. I walk and/or exercise them at least two times a day. One of my dogs has medical needs that I handle. My donkeys' food is weighed out to avoid obesity. I think it is important that I earn the trust of a new animal and build on that. Exercise and training can be helpful to pets that will be spending time alone. I am a firm believer that each animal is unique and requires an approach that works for them.

About: I used to be a dog groomer in NM and worked at a pet store before moving out here to CA. I love animals. My cat was a bottle feeder who I fostered but couldn't give up so I adopted her. She is a curious creature who may not like dogs but puts up with them :) I am open to new challenges and would like to stay intuned with caring for animals. Let's chat.
