About: Although I do not have professional pet-sitting experience, I have cared for my own dog and nine cats for many years. I am comfortable feeding pets, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, providing exercise and playtime, and ensuring pets receive the attention and care they need. I am dependable, patient, and love working with animals. I work as a behavior technician on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the mornings. I am available for pet care visits in the afternoons and evenings on those days, all day on Saturdays, and Sunday mornings. I am not available on Tuesdays or Thursdays. I strive to provide dependable, consistent care and follow each pet’s regular routine as closely as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, comfort, and following the owner’s instructions. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication directions, exercise routines, and any special care needs. I respect your home and work to maintain your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable while you are away. My experience caring for my own dog and multiple cats has taught me to be attentive, patient, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.
“Alexa was great with my fur babies. She was professional, punctual and communicated well with me regarding questions or concerns! This was my first time using Rover, Alexa made me feel at ease leaving my fur babies in her care. She cared for them like her own. I really appreciate her and look forward to scheduling with her in the future! 🐾”

About: Hi! My name is Persia. I have been around dogs my entire life and truly love caring for pets. I currently have one small dog at home- as well as two cats. I make sure all pets’ needs are met through daily feeding, walks, playtime, attention, and affection. I am patient, gentle, and dedicated to making small dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. Hi! I am a college student back home in California for the summer. I am an animal lover in need of something to keep me busy over the summer, so this is what i chose to do! Spend time with animals and care, as i am very experienced and have grown up having pet animals. I am very experienced with pets, knowing the risks they take (running off, eating random twigs on the floor), so I will be a very attentive sitter. Your pet will not be lonely or left unattended by me! He/she can walk safely with me and be safe in my home. My yard is the largest in the city, and i have a dog play pen. They can run around in the dog pen! My house is also a free range for your pet.
About: Hello! I have years of experience with family and friends’ dogs, but mostly at an animal shelter ! I volunteered there for 2 years, walking, feeding, and cleaning up after different sized dogs. :) I now have a 7 year old husky named Khoda (in the picture!) that I rescued from the shelter 2 years ago. All I’ll say is huskies have lots of character, so I’m used to all of it ! Haha. With that said, I know how much energy (some) dogs can have. I would be happy to have a quick play session with your best friend ! I have also had a puppy and understand the attention it takes! I’m generally available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and love helping pet parents with walks, drop-ins, and pet care during those days. Tuesdays and Fridays are usually dedicated to my regular work schedule, though there may occasionally be some flexibility depending on the week. If you have specific dates in mind, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to check my availability and see how I can help! As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. The safety and comfort of every pet in my care is my top priority. I will follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I am also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and receiving plenty of attention.
“What a caring a loving individual. If you want someone to love your animals as much as you do, Elaine is your gal! She’s so sweet, trustworthy, and will go that extra mile to send you photos of your furry friends while you’re away! 🥰”
“Kaitlyn and Jesse were absolutely wonderful!! They cared for our sweet dogs as if they were their own!! One of our adopted dogs has a hard history and Kaitlyn and Jesse were so good with him…he warmed up to them and trusted them over the course of the booking. They were so good at letting us know each day how our sweet dogs were doing and sent fun pictures!! We also live in the countryside and had a scare with some local fires. Kaitlyn and Jesse were quick to make contact with us and tentatively plan for how to keep our dogs safe! They are so kind and friendly!! We were so happy we got connected with them through Rover and will look forward to booking with them for future times!!”

I prioritize consistency, safety, and giving pets plenty of attention so owners can feel confident while they’re away. I care for pets by following their routine as closely as possible while maintaining a safe, calm, and clean environment. In my home or a client’s home, I start by reviewing feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any behavioral notes provided by the owner.
“Melissa is so sweet and caring for our kitties! She sends plenty of pictures and we felt very comfortable having her take care of them. We will definitely use her services again!”

About: I have cared for animals of all kinds for over 32 years. As a young child, I was drawn to just about any animal you can think of. I am very detailed and will put your pets first. I am recently retired but now work a couple of days a week, but for only 1/2 days. I do have flexibility in my schedule. My dogs have a safe fenced in area but spend most of their time indoors. I walk and/or exercise them at least two times a day. One of my dogs has medical needs that I handle. My donkeys' food is weighed out to avoid obesity. I think it is important that I earn the trust of a new animal and build on that. Exercise and training can be helpful to pets that will be spending time alone. I am a firm believer that each animal is unique and requires an approach that works for them.

“Alexis is our go to sitter for kitties and our pup. She’s been our ONLY sitter for over a year and we hope for many more. She’s reliable and always is willing to give a little extra attention!”

I love building relationships with both pets and their owners, and my goal is always to make sure your furry family member feels happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I have a flexible schedule and am available for walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, feeding, medication administration, playtime, and companionship. I feel that I am very trustworthy, I respect other peoples property and I would give your dog the best time possible on their walk
About: Hello, my name is a Lynette and I’m 25 years old. I’m a part time esthetician and a full time fan of animals :) I have grown up around animals my whole life. I love animals and I’m very patient and kind to all furry friends as well as reptiles, birds, and even farm friends 🥰. I was an owner of 2 disabled animals and all of my pets were rescued. I started house sitting/ animal care when I was a teenager for family and that turned into friends of family requesting me and now I would like to try a site like Rover to help out more people and their fur babies to have a peaceful and loving experience with a caretaker like myself. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I work part time as an esthetician, but can work around most schedules and I am flexible with my time. I can do check in visits, play time, baths, or extended stays if needed. I have 10+ years experience of care and love for all pets. I will listen carefully to all instructions and take care of your pet and all their needs.
About: I see all animals as my own pet so I give the best care! I’ve been taking care of family and friends pets for years. Meds, baths, play time, and of course feeding! I am currently working full time M-F so I am able to work with animals that only require minimal check ins in the early morning and evening. As well as for over night stays I’m detail oriented so detailed lists of care will help me keep your pet on schedule and safe! Your pet comes first and I hope to show that in quality care. I’ve previously worked in at home human senior care giving and understand the need for trust and safety.
“April is the BEST!! This is the second time she watches our babies, she goes far and beyond, the cats love her! She is very attentive to our cats needs, our set up is a bit confusing at times because we have to separate some of our cats, and she is more than willing to work with us! She even sent updates of our bird Kiwi, when she didn’t have to! Highly recommend!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 30 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Oak Glen. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
