“Lynette was great with our two dogs. We have struggled with reliable sitters in the past and are very happy to have found Lynette. We will definitely be using her again.”

“Elaine was awesome and very willing to learn a complex medication for my special needs Kitty. She took the time to get to know my fur baby, jumped into care mode, then right back to play time. I feel confident that families and pets will love the attentive care she can provide. Thank you!”

About: I taken care when I was very young even taking care of ill/sick animals. I'll nurse them back to health when vets couldn't do it. I bottle feed and take them to the restroom when they are babies. I been taking care since 10 years old. I'm very open with my schedule and love to be around animals. I work from home working as a editor and have lots of free time. I have a gate area for all animals. I always have them on a leash and make sure we walk in the morning or evening. It's too hot for their paws if you have booties for them even great. Always have water on me and poop bags. I never have anything laying around for them to eat or play with. I'm always outside with them when need to go potty and play.
“Persia took such great of Koda! We felt so much peace of mind while we were away on vacation knowing that Koda was being affectionately looked after. Would definitely book with her again!”

About: I've always had friends with dogs and have done house and dog sitting for many years without any issues. I also have a saint Bernard, Banks! I'm currently looking for a new job after I was laid off from my former job. I have a lot of time on my hands currently so I have open availability. I take my doggo out on walks every day! We're also lazy from time to time but we're usually more active. I'm very engaged with my dog as he can be very energetic so I can definitely handle bigger dogs with a lot of energy.
About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. Whether it's playtime, medication, or a calm evening walk, I’m here to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Im currently a high school graduate looking for a side gig to help me pay for a new car. I work 6am-5pm sun -Wednesdays and don’t mind doing night walks after work. I’m so free Thursday thru Saturday I treat every pet and home with the utmost respect. I follow all client instructions carefully, maintain a clean and safe environment, and give pets plenty of love and attention. I prioritize each pet’s comfort and routines, whether I’m in my home or yours. Safety, trust, and communication always come first!

“Nicole was great! On-time, was very careful to follow feeding instructions, and extremely responsive to any questions or tweaks to instructions. She is a friendly and caring person who will take great care of you precious four-legged family!”

“Shina was just wonderful with our 2 cats who immediately went up to her which is unusual for them. I appreciated the daily messages and photos letting me know our kitties were fine. You can quickly tell how much Shina loves animals and we will definitely use her again!”

“April is awesome!! I was very nervous to leave my pets as one cat is very shy. But not with her! She also managed around a difficult household member. Right away my kitties took to her and I had peace my entire time away. I will definitely be using her services again!!”

About: Hello! I’m am so excited to get to know you and your pet! I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and seriously couldn’t imagine a life without these amazing animals to share it with. I’ve been dog sitting and walking for around 9 years for family, friends and on platforms like Rover. Currently, I have 3 dogs and a cat-a 2 year old Labrador, a 3 year old pittie mix and her 7 month old pup and an 8 year old domestic longhair. They are my life and giving them the best life has been my goal and dream. I have experience with obedience training for puppies and older dogs as well as taking care of dogs with behavioral issues. I’d love to take care of your animals and give them a safe space while you’re away! I currently work as a teacher and am looking to fill my weekends with pet care and possibly a few evenings out of the week for walks, drop-ins or play outings. I have a fenced dog area at my home as well as plenty of parks and trails within a few miles. We have plenty of outdoor space for play and lots of cozy furniture for resting time.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and had dogs of my own throughout the past 40 years. I treat all dogs and cats as if they are my own and am affectionate, kind, and playful. I work for myself as a handyman throughout the San Bernardino mountains and can set my own schedule. I’m currently training to be a dog trainer as well. It’s important animals feel safe and secure in their environment and the care taker is available to them on the animals timeline. I’m incredibly patient and kind and make a concerted effort to gain their trust as well. Ensuring they always have food and water, get ample bathroom breaks, and have access at all times to their creatures of comfort such as toys and bed. I’m very tall, and as a result often get on the ground or at the level of the animal to see them at their level. I walk quietly, I don’t slam doors, don’t smoke or consume alcohol that could be disruptive to their senses, and am highly aware of their need for affection, play time, or being left alone.
“Anna was so amazing! This was our first time leaving our cat, and Macushla loved her. Anna sent pics and kept us updated. Could not have been better. You will not be sorry trusting Anna with your pets.”

About: I have loved dogs my whole life. Having owned several dogs with my family throughout my life, I have always enjoyed and loved their playful, exuberant and loyal nature; there is just so much energy and life with them. Dogs are always such a joy to be around, and will make sure your dog will have a joyful time during my time with your dogs. I currently will even help sit my sisters 6 dogs (which she and her boyfriend together own six Chihuahuas and one Australian Silk) whenever she needs to do so, include walks, relieving themselves and playing with them and their toys. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 712 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Pinezanita. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pinezanita. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
