We had plans to go out for part of the day and I wasn’t comfortable leaving my 1 and 11 year old dogs unsupervised in a rental home where they’re not totally familiar - and I wanted to be sure the house was kept in order while we were gone. Though it took me some time to understand the workings of the rover app, I did ultimately connect with a lovely and very conscientious dog sitter, Katie R. She provided helpful communication ahead of the visit, was right on time and very friendly. Katie kept us apprised of how our pets were doing, even sent some pictures, so we could also see how well they took to her. Our only regret is that we live too far away to use Katie for our dog sitting needs on a regular basis!”

About: Your pup will always be in my company, since I’m always at home. Lots of outside time and walks through my neighborhood’s local forest trail. Your dog(s) will have their own space in my kitchen, separate from my dog’s personal space. I am a responsible homeschooling mother of an easy-going, 6 year old daughter ( she loves animals). I am a ‘Stay at Home’ Mom, currently homeschooling my 6 year old daughter through a fantastic charter school. I make my own schedule and can easily accommodate your pet’s schedule into my own. My daughter is very well-behaved, with an easy going disposition, which makes animals love her. My husband also loves all animals, but will not be care-taking for your animals, as he is works full time. I will be the full-time caretaker of your beloved fur-friends. I have 2 portions to my property . One side is fenced on a hillside with a small astro-turfed area for potty breaks. The other side is open with a small water fall and full Astro turf. This gives dogs lots of time outside. I will also keep your dog in the kitchen, where I spend the majority of my time cooking and teaching my daughter kindergarten + computer work at the kitchen table. Your pup will also enjoy the walks around the neighborhood, which includes a lot of trees and nature.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and had dogs of my own throughout the past 40 years. I treat all dogs and cats as if they are my own and am affectionate, kind, and playful. I work for myself as a handyman throughout the San Bernardino mountains and can set my own schedule. I’m currently training to be a dog trainer as well. It’s important animals feel safe and secure in their environment and the care taker is available to them on the animals timeline. I’m incredibly patient and kind and make a concerted effort to gain their trust as well. Ensuring they always have food and water, get ample bathroom breaks, and have access at all times to their creatures of comfort such as toys and bed. I’m very tall, and as a result often get on the ground or at the level of the animal to see them at their level. I walk quietly, I don’t slam doors, don’t smoke or consume alcohol that could be disruptive to their senses, and am highly aware of their need for affection, play time, or being left alone.

About: I have been a pet owner on and off most of my life. I have had all ages of cats and dogs from puppies and kittens to seniors and love them all the same. I currently have 1 puppy and a 1 yr old dog and 3 kitties I am currently working p/t and can make my own schedule so I am flexible. Most of my schedule for the p/t job is mid day and is very close to home I never let my dogs out alone since we don't have a fenced in yard and I don't want them escaping or getting into any trouble with other dogs plus our 5 month old is still potty training so I really like to keep tabs on when she's doing her "business". They get lots of attention play time and love whether indoors or out. We enjoy lots of walks and hikes together as well

I'm a very active person and would get your dog a lot of excercie and attention. I have basic first aid capabilities and comfortable with any situation that might present Itself. Im very flexible and fine with anything from short or long walks to overnigbt stays. I understand communication is essential and will keep you posted on any updates the best I can. About: We are both huge animal lovers. Both having animals in our care at a very young age. These animals included dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, lizards, horses, cattle, lambs, and goats. Kristina has works at many Humane Societies where she got hand on experience working with w cats of all temperaments and sizes. We reside in the beautiful Lake Arrowhead so we can take your pup for a dip in the water or for a scenic hike! I have a huge fenced yard your fur baby would love to explore. I work from home so your pet with have 24hr supervision while in our care! We will either be cuddled up or playing with your pup, they will NEVER be left alone I have a huge fenced yards. I do have dogs but will keep them separated unless asked otherwise by pet parent. Pets are allowed inside and on the furniture!
