She went above and beyond, taking Matilda for long walks every day and even taking her for a hike in a nearby mountain park. Since she lived nearby, she even brought Matilda to her home and let her play with her dogs. She texted some nice photos showing happy pets and Matilda on the hike with a great dog smile. About: I’m a dog mom of two chihuahuas, although I love cats as well! I’ve had my first fur baby since I was 11, the other for a little over a year ago. I love taking them on adventures, pampering them, & of course giving them all the love! I can assure you, your fur babies are safe with me. I work weekends to make ends meet for school! I’m currently attending Paul Mitchell The School in Temecula 3 days a week (wed-friday). I am available for pet sitting after school/work as well as my days off (monday & tuesday). About: Your pup will always be in my company, since I’m always at home. Lots of outside time and walks through my neighborhood’s local forest trail. Your dog(s) will have their own space in my kitchen, separate from my dog’s personal space. I am a responsible homeschooling mother of an easy-going, 6 year old daughter ( she loves animals). I am a ‘Stay at Home’ Mom, currently homeschooling my 6 year old daughter through a fantastic charter school. I make my own schedule and can easily accommodate your pet’s schedule into my own. My daughter is very well-behaved, with an easy going disposition, which makes animals love her. My husband also loves all animals, but will not be care-taking for your animals, as he is works full time. I will be the full-time caretaker of your beloved fur-friends. I have 2 portions to my property . One side is fenced on a hillside with a small astro-turfed area for potty breaks. The other side is open with a small water fall and full Astro turf. This gives dogs lots of time outside. I will also keep your dog in the kitchen, where I spend the majority of my time cooking and teaching my daughter kindergarten + computer work at the kitchen table. Your pup will also enjoy the walks around the neighborhood, which includes a lot of trees and nature.
About: I am comfortable around most animals and have spent most of my life with all kinds of pets. In the past I have volunteered at Animal Haven Shelter in NYC and have volunteered at Humane Society in Delray Beach, FL. Most recently, in my volunteer position at animal haven I was responsible for walking dogs of all ages and sizes as well as feeding and socializing them. I have done homestays for friends as well as family and clients here on Rover. I’m used to being in new environments frequently and will adapt to whatever routine you have set for your fur babies. I have a flexible schedule and can work with whatever restrictions or requests you may have. I am always happy to accommodate where I can. I have a fully fenced yard with one exterior entry/exit that is secured at all times. My Vehicle is equipped with a safety partition between the front and rear seats for safe and easy transport as needed.
“Alexandria went so above and beyond during this stay at our house for 6 days. She cared for our older cat who did not give her much in return and yet Alexandria persisted with love and sweetness and companionship. Last time I left the cat for many days under another persons care, my cat lost a significant percent of her body weight out of stress. But with Ali, I came home to a fat, happy cat!!! Ali cleaned my house before she left, did laundry, and took the garbage for the week with her when she left. I was quite nervous to trust a stranger and the Rover app to vet someone to live in my home for 6 days. But all my doubts and worries were a waste of energy because Ali was so very responsible, lovely, communicative, and she took care of the house and cat in unexpected and very thoughtful ways. Can’t say enough positive things about Ali. Thank you Alexandria!!!!”
