About: Growing up in South Africa, going on safari was a significant part of my culture, and my love for animals has been ingrained in me from a young age. After the loss of my beloved 20-year-old cat, I found joy in walking and playing with a neighbor's Husky, helping to fill that void. Currently, I don't have any pets of my own, so your furry friend will be my top priority and cherished companion until you return. I moved to the mountains five years ago and work primarily from home, allowing me to provide plenty of attention and care. I am very hands-on, with a wealth of love to give, and I have a natural knack for connecting with animals. My cat used to snuggle with me every night, and I can't wait to welcome more little fur-balls into my life to cuddle. My standard nightly rate includes up to 2 pets. In addition to my passion for animals, I have completed a cat and dog CPR certification course through the Red Cross, ensuring that I am prepared for unexpected situations that may arise. I also hold my own liability insurance underwritten by Lloyds of London, separate from Rover's insurance, giving you peace of mind while your pet is in my care. Furthermore, I have successfully passed an enhanced background check by a third-party provider. Animals are my passion, and I feel incredibly grateful to live in the mountains, surrounded by all the beautiful wildlife. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member/s! Pets need love, security and re-assurance when their human parents are on vacation. That is why I prefer to house sit. I can also just drop in for feedings and walks if you are more comfortable with that. I will treat your fur babies with love and respect and give them lots of play and cuddle time! About: Hello my furry friend lovers!! I have cared for many different kinds of animals in my life, some of which include dogs,cats,birds,mice,rabbits,guinea pigs,fish,snakes,goats,chickens and now pot belly pigs. We love making homemade treats in our house so I am currently taking some pet nutrition classes to safely make special dietary treats. I am comfortable with all ages and sizes. I would be more than happy to meet you before any final decisions are made so that we can discuss everything there is to know about your pet. I have experience with different illnesses and medications from working with a rescue where I adopted my own angel with a neurological disorder. We absolutely adore pets and I can promise you that you and your baby will be treated like family. I am a stay at home wife that is taking pet nutrition and business classes so I could someday open my own pet boutique where everything is homemade. I promise no potty breaks will be missed and your baby gets all the love and cuddles they can handle. 😊 We have dogs, cats and pot belly pigs for your pet to play with in our fenced yard but we also have big crates for separation if needed. Your baby will be allowed on our furniture to sleep and get cuddles unless you say otherwise lol we do love our snuggles.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child. I grew up with 5 dogs, 9 cats, and several small animals. I have experience taking care of pets of all ages, puppy to elder! Now at the age of 24, I have a dog and a snake that I look after. My family relies on me to feed, bathe, walk, and care for our pets. I have a strong love for animals, your pets will be in great hands! ~My Schedule~ It has become a daily thing for me. Having to walk my dog and take care of my snake is a weekly duty that has worked it's way in-between my morning yoga and breakfast. ~Creating a Safe Environment~ I walk my dog, clean up after her, share the love when I can, feed her, and bathe her. I clean my snake's cage, feed him, and tend to his needs. He has regular vet visits.

About: I have had family dogs growing up and as well as into adulthood and around my daughter. My dog passed a couple years ago and I thought I could give back to the pet community. I have my own business so I can set my own schedule which allows me to work around the schedule that you need. My business is local on the mountain so I am up and around the area. I care for the pets the way that you need. I will ask questions and find out from you how best to care for them and their needs. I then write those details down and remember them on the follow up visits.

About: Your pup will always be in my company, since I’m always at home. Lots of outside time and walks through my neighborhood’s local forest trail. Your dog(s) will have their own space in my kitchen, separate from my dog’s personal space. I am a responsible homeschooling mother of an easy-going, 6 year old daughter ( she loves animals). I am a ‘Stay at Home’ Mom, currently homeschooling my 6 year old daughter through a fantastic charter school. I make my own schedule and can easily accommodate your pet’s schedule into my own. My daughter is very well-behaved, with an easy going disposition, which makes animals love her. My husband also loves all animals, but will not be care-taking for your animals, as he is works full time. I will be the full-time caretaker of your beloved fur-friends. I have 2 portions to my property . One side is fenced on a hillside with a small astro-turfed area for potty breaks. The other side is open with a small water fall and full Astro turf. This gives dogs lots of time outside. I will also keep your dog in the kitchen, where I spend the majority of my time cooking and teaching my daughter kindergarten + computer work at the kitchen table. Your pup will also enjoy the walks around the neighborhood, which includes a lot of trees and nature.

I'm very responsible and will care for your pet as you request. No treats unless you say so and no sofa time unless that's ok with you. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs since I was a kid. I've always had animals in my life. Dogs, cats, chickens, a calf I bottle fed, horses... need I go on. Most of my dogs have been in the 60lb range. So I'm used to holding my ground and handling them when they get excited. Since I've been in LA, I have been a surrogate parent to my friend's dogs, but have had my cats Doodie (now with my ex) and Harris (my little southern girl). I also have a special gift for catching "runaway" pets when their owners can't. My experience administering medication Yes. I'm a master of the blow in the face to make them swallow their pills trick. I have also given shots before to a diabetic weenie dog.

I just moved to lake arrowhead from WI and have plenty of time for walks and hikes during the week any time and some weekends! I have fencing in gates in the home and doggy bowls ready to feet them the home is also dog proof and they can freely run around the house!
