1. Jason L.
“Jason did great walking Blizzard, who I had just picked up off the streets a couple weeks before and wasn't very acclimated to his new life yet. He understands the importance of a meet and greet for new dogs, and paid great attention and care to my dog's personality and well-being and to earning his trust. It's clear that loves meeting and caring for dogs, has good instincts, and definitely cares about their well-being beyond just the walk; he helped work on Blizzard's walk commands and keep them consistent, and stayed a bit after walks to continue making friends. I had him walk Blizzard while I was out of town, and would normally walk him myself, but if I was unable to exercise him again I would definitely ask Jason to care for him again.”
2. Katie R.
“Katie is an attentive loving pet fan. She puts her heart into each visit! My dog nearly wags his tail off when she walks him!”
3. Katelin M.
“Katelin has been an absolute lifesaver for me and my dog. Whenever I have to be away, I know I can rely on her to take care of Jake like he's her own. What I love most about Katelin is her genuine love for animals. It's clear from the way she interacts with Jake that she truly cares about his well being. Whether it's taking him for a walk, giving him belly rubs, or just spending quality time with him, Katelin always goes above and beyond to make sure he's happy and comfortable.”

7. Elma V.
About: I grew up in South Africa and going on safari was a big part of our culture. Loving animals is in my DNA. When I lost my 20 year old cat, I started walking and playing with a neighbor's Husky to fill the void. Currently I have no pets of my own, so your baby will be my baby until you return. I just moved back to the mountain and work mostly from home. I am very hands on, have a lot of love to give and have a natural knack with animals. My cat used to sleep in bed with me every night, so I look forward to having more little fur balls to cuddle. Animals are my passion and I'm so grateful for living in the mountains with all the wildlife around. Pets need love, security and re-assurance when their human parents are on vacation. That is why I prefer to house sit. I can also just drop in for feedings and walks if you are more comfortable with that. I will treat your fur babies with love and respect and give them lots of play and cuddle time! Your wish is my command and I will follow any special instructions or routines you may have.
8. Dakota & Christopher W.
“Dakota is an amazing pet caregiver. My dog Stacy is a tough cookie. She’s not a friendly dog and does not open up to people. I had my grandma come out to visit and decided to ask Dakota to watch Stacy for me. Stacy stayed with Dakota for a week and during the week my baby’s was cared for. Stacy was given treats and cuddles and went out on walks everyday. I would trust Dakota with my baby Anyday. She is one and considerate and puts fur babies first. Anytime we run into a lost dog she pulls over to see if she is able to help. She also takes in foster dogs when she can.”

12. Stephanie C.
About: I have been fortunate enough to grow up around dogs all my life, from small, medium and large dogs and of all ages. I am not a professional dog trainer, but I have learned along the way a lot of patience and determination when it comes down to training, consistency is key. Have fun while seeing progress on commands and response from each dog is an amazing feeling. Showing the dogs love and acknowledgement of their work being applaud and with some treats of course. I am a lover of all dogs; I want to care and meet many more. Not just them but also their owners in any way possible to make their personal and work life easier. I am a mother of two kids and of two fur babies. I have time to show and create fun and engaging play dates with my little family including your fur baby. I have plenty of space inside and out my home where the doggies can run around and play with plenty of toys. I also do have extra crates only if needed or preferred. As long as I am the one taking care of your dogs, they are in a great home so much love and play time will be given to each and every fur baby.
13. Shannon M.
About: I grew up in a household housing pets all the time. I’ve had the opportunity to care for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, ducks, and a rabbit. I am familiar with animal’s nutrition and exercise needs. I’ve been able to carefully asses small injuries that can be treated at home and which ones require a visit to the vet. I’ve learned to pick up on the different personalities that each pet has and used it to ensure that each one is loved and in a happy environment. I’ve always been around pets, and I have a dog of my own named Khyzer (who is a very good boy!!). I also spend time researching how to properly feed and take care of different dogs based on their breed, size, age, and weight to gain more awareness. I am ready to care for your pet, have fun with them, and show them lots of love! I have a big and beautiful backyard for dogs to roam around and play! :D I never leave pets (including my own pets) unsupervised outside in my backyard (backyard only!! front yard has no fencing so it is dangerous). When we are inside, the same rules apply. Dogs and cats are just like children, so to help them out and to make pet parents feel comfortable and safe, I treat every dog with love and respect, while also supervising at all times. I love my own pets, and if I left them with someone I do not know, I would hope to have a sitter who truly loves and takes care of my pet properly. Use my code: SHANNM56904 (For 20% off your first booking, if you are new to Rover!) I am a college student, however, I do have plenty of time to take care of dogs & cats. For this upcoming school semester I am unable to provide services on mondays and wednesdays, however any other day, I am most likely to be available! :D I leave a clean area so that you fur baby can be in a peaceful environment. I have a nice, spacious backyard where your fur baby can roam around while being supervised! I also have toys that they can play with. And of course, I will be able to provide the attention your fur baby needs and deserves <3
14. Julia P.

15. Erika R.
About: I am athletic, nurturing and patient. I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for over 15 beloved years and I look forward to taking care of your fuzzy friends. I work from home so having pets gives me the opportunity to go out for a walk and get exercise myself. I can board dogs for the night. I have a spare crate available if your dog prefers it, whereas I usually have dog beds in every room that my dog likes to use.
16. Dominique A.
About: Highly referred and experienced, Dominique provides outstanding pet care that is personalized to meet the needs of your furry family members. I meet with all pet parents and document the specific requirements of your pets as we know how important it is for pets to maintain the security of their daily routines. I know how hard it is for them to be away from their owners and promise to treat them like my own with an intuitive understanding of their needs. With lots of love and extensive knowledge and experience of all pets - dogs, cats, birds, horses, and reptiles including the special needs of seniors, medications, and high energy pets - I am uniquely qualified to make sure your pets are lovingly cared for in the comfort of their own homes while you vacation or are at work. I became a pet sitter because I know how much dogs mean to their human family members. My Collie/Border Collie rescue mix, Skipper, taught me so much about the mutual love when caring for another being, she was nearly my "nanny" as I grew up. Her passing left a hole in my life, and though I am not ready for another pup of my own, I am looking forward to spending time with dogs again. My passion for animals has inspired me to give back to them. In my spare time, I volunteer with the humane society and work to stop Yulin. As a volunteer I walk the dogs, feed them and take them to the dog park for exercise and socialization. Dogs give so much to us and it's our duty to take care of them in return. I am an accountant that works fully remote which enables me to provide loving care for fur babies at their own home. In house pet sitting provides the peace of mind of familiarity and safety to pets so they do not experience the boarding anxiety of a strange and unfamiliar place. This is especially important for pets with routines and/or special needs. If local within daily driving distance, I can come for a few hours or if further away I can stay throughout the duration provided there is a desk and monitor workspace that I can plug into during the work week. I also have a service trained miniature dachshund who can come with me to bring company and a playmate for fur babies. Creating the safety of routine and familiarity of in home care often eliminates the separation anxiety that most pets can suffer from while their humans are away. By loving care, play time, and keeping routines, fur babies are happy and living their best life too while their humans are away.
