I had him walk Blizzard while I was out of town, and would normally walk him myself, but if I was unable to exercise him again I would definitely ask Jason to care for him again.”

About: I grew up in South Africa and going on safari was a big part of our culture. Loving animals is in my DNA. When I lost my 20 year old cat, I started walking and playing with a neighbor's Husky to fill the void. Currently I have no pets of my own, so your baby will be my baby until you return. I just moved back to the mountain and work mostly from home. I am very hands on, have a lot of love to give and have a natural knack with animals. My cat used to sleep in bed with me every night, so I look forward to having more little fur balls to cuddle. Animals are my passion and I'm so grateful for living in the mountains with all the wildlife around. Pets need love, security and re-assurance when their human parents are on vacation. That is why I prefer to house sit. I can also just drop in for feedings and walks if you are more comfortable with that. I will treat your fur babies with love and respect and give them lots of play and cuddle time! Your wish is my command and I will follow any special instructions or routines you may have.

“Dakota is an amazing pet caregiver. My dog Stacy is a tough cookie. She’s not a friendly dog and does not open up to people. I had my grandma come out to visit and decided to ask Dakota to watch Stacy for me. Stacy stayed with Dakota for a week and during the week my baby’s was cared for. Stacy was given treats and cuddles and went out on walks everyday. I would trust Dakota with my baby Anyday. She is one and considerate and puts fur babies first. Anytime we run into a lost dog she pulls over to see if she is able to help. She also takes in foster dogs when she can.”

About: I have been fortunate enough to grow up around dogs all my life, from small, medium and large dogs and of all ages. I am not a professional dog trainer, but I have learned along the way a lot of patience and determination when it comes down to training, consistency is key. Have fun while seeing progress on commands and response from each dog is an amazing feeling. Showing the dogs love and acknowledgement of their work being applaud and with some treats of course. I am a lover of all dogs; I want to care and meet many more. Not just them but also their owners in any way possible to make their personal and work life easier. I am a mother of two kids and of two fur babies. I have time to show and create fun and engaging play dates with my little family including your fur baby. I have plenty of space inside and out my home where the doggies can run around and play with plenty of toys. I also do have extra crates only if needed or preferred. About: I grew up in a household housing pets all the time. I’ve had the opportunity to care for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, ducks, and a rabbit. I am familiar with animal’s nutrition and exercise needs. I’ve been able to carefully asses small injuries that can be treated at home and which ones require a visit to the vet. I’ve learned to pick up on the different personalities that each pet has and used it to ensure that each one is loved and in a happy environment. I also have a service trained miniature dachshund who can come with me to bring company and a playmate for fur babies. Creating the safety of routine and familiarity of in home care often eliminates the separation anxiety that most pets can suffer from while their humans are away. About: Worked as a vet tech for years, trained, boarded, and owned a daycare. Did a semester of Veterinary school. Well versed in many areas when it comes to your pet. I am focused on exercise...and any of the dogs that need some basic training, socializing, and some behavioral modifications if needed. There may be additional charges depending on the complexity of the training. I work full time as a dog sitter, and will make sure all dogs get the exercise needed during the day.. an exercised pet... is a healthy pet. All dogs will sleep indoors. Everyone will be housed indoors at night. The dogs will be hiked in the mornings. . My goal is to have a working pack that all work together. Socialization is the goal..
