About: Hi there! We’re Roger and Amy — your new favorite pet care team! We’re lifelong animal lovers who bring reliability, compassion, and genuine enthusiasm to every pet we care for. Whether you need daily check ins, walks, overnight care, or help while you’re away, we’re here to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own routine. Meet Roger Roger has cared for his own dogs throughout his entire life—from bouncy puppies to beloved seniors. He’s also helped care for pets belonging to family and friends, often taking on full household responsibilities while they traveled. This hands on experience has taught him how to build trust quickly with animals and maintain a calm, dependable environment. Roger currently works full-time for a medical supply company from 4 PM–1 AM, so he’s available for morning, early-afternoon, and weekend care. Meet Amy Amy has owned and cared for both dogs and cats for many years. She’s experienced with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and needs, and she always brings patience and empathy to every furry friend she meets. Her schedule is Tuesdays and Saturdays, 6 PM–4:45 AM, which complements Roger’s availability and gives us plenty of flexibility to meet your scheduling needs. Why We’re Here We’re currently building our own pet-care service because working with animals is truly what we love. Rover gives us the perfect opportunity to connect with families who want caring, communicative sitters they can trust. Our Promise to You • We’ll follow your instructions exactly as given. • We’ll use only the tools, treats, and routines you approve. • We’ll respect your home and space at all times. • We’ll only deviate from instructions when absolutely necessary such as cleaning up after your pet or handling an unexpected mess. • Most importantly, we’ll treat your pets like they’re our own. We’d love the chance to meet you and your furry family members. Please feel free to message us with any questions we’re excited to help you any way we can! I currently work full-time for a medical supply company from 4 PM to 1 AM, Tuesday through Thursday and friday 20m-11pm and Saturday noon to 8:30pm I’m available for pet sitting outside of those hours, including mornings, early afternoons, and weekends. My fiancé and I are in the process of starting our own pet care service, and Rover is a great opportunity for us to connect with pet owners in the community. Amy works Tuesdays and Saturdays from 6 PM to 4:45 AM, and her schedule complements mine, allowing us to offer flexible and reliable coverage for your pet’s needs. We will always use the tools, supplies, and routines you provide to ensure your pet stays comfortable and consistent in their environment. We respect your home and will only handle items you haven’t specified if it’s absolutely necessary such as cleaning up after your pet, ensuring their safety, or maintaining a clean and healthy space for them. Your guidelines matter to us, and we’re committed to caring for your pet exactly the way you prefer. We use a double lease you can find on our Amazon list on Instagram

About: My experience with pets includes all types of critters ranging from 2 legged feathered ones, 4 legged scaly ones, to 4 legged furry ones. I'm the proud mommy of 3 very catty cat, and 2 sweet bunnies. My pets are part of my family, and that is exactly how I will treat yours as well. Having taught preschool and elementary students, I'm quite efficient at managing sometimes unpredictable schedules and different personalities. I'm very playful, yet organized, and love working with all kinds of animals. I'm patient, and enjoy watching their personalities unfold as they get to know me better. I Have worked with senior and ailing animals, so I am more than capable to handle any emergency should one occur. I can administer medications as well. I generally require a meet and greet to assure we are all a match. To me, my clients are part of my extended family, and I prefer long-term clients over constantly rotating ones. Leaving pets behind is always stressful, and having a long-term relationship with a sitter makes the separation a lot easier for both the pet and the owner. As a freelance care provider and photographer, the ability to create a flexible schedule allows me to give my utmost attention and energy to your pets when they are in my care. I always stay at the clients house for overnight bookings, so your pets will have plenty of company. I couldn’t ask for a more rewarding way to spend my time than hanging out with furry friends. Safety and comfort are always priority. During my time as a teacher, I learned that clear communication is key to any successful relationship. I require a free meet and greet before accepting any request. The meet and greet is a great time for you, your pet, and me to get to know each other and discuss any routines and special considerations. I also request that you provide a written list of all important information including feeding and walking schedules, and a list of emergency contacts and veterinary information. My grandmother taught me, “it’s better to be safe than sorry”, and I am grateful to take this lesson with me into my profession.

About: I have three dogs of my own, so caring for pets is a big part of my everyday life. I’m very comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels—from playful puppies to more relaxed or senior dogs. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like my own, paying close attention to their routines, behavior, and comfort. I’m patient, reliable, and good at picking up on small changes in a pet’s mood or needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or just giving them love and attention, I make sure each pet feels safe and happy while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I have three dogs of my own. As an online student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and care throughout the day. I’m able to maintain consistent feeding, walking, and play schedules, and I’m home often to provide companionship and supervision. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment for every pet in my care. In my home, I have a secure, fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, along with three friendly and playful dogs who enjoy socializing. I always introduce pets slowly to make sure everyone is comfortable. If needed, I can separate or crate my dogs or your pet to ensure a stress-free environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. In a client’s home, I respect their space and stick to their pet’s normal schedule to keep them comfortable and relaxed.

About: I provide reliable care for both cats and dogs backed by years of hands-on work. My goal is a comfortable, no-stress experience for both you and your pet. I’ve worked with several animal rescues over the years and regularly foster animals in need. I’ve handled animals with many kinds of special needs, from bottle-feeding kittens to administering mediations to seniors. I also care for feral cats, so animals who are feisty don’t faze me! I truly love getting to know each pet I watch and making them feel as comfortable as possible while their family is away. I do my best to keep your pet(s) on their usual routine while you’re away, and always provide them with loving care. I’m patient and adaptable, personalizing care to each pet, whether that means playtime, cozy snuggles, or just keeping a calm presence nearby. I’m happy to communicate updates as much or as little as you prefer, and will send you photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and comfortable. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or special requests. I’m always open to discussing pricing, availability or anything else you’d like more information on. Talk soon! I work remotely from home. Caring for pets and spending time with them is something I have the luxury of doing throughout the day. The other work I do is flexible so caring for animals is my top priority. When boarding your pet, I provide a dedicated, comfortable space just for them, with everything they need to feel safe and at home. Each pet gets their own room (unless there are multiple from the same household) in a sanitized area, complete with cozy bedding, toys, and anything specific to their care. For dogs, I have a spacious, secure backyard where they can enjoy playtime and walks. I take the time to ensure they’re comfortable, relaxed, and loved while they’re away from home. When caring for your pet at your home, I stick to their routine, including feeding, medication, and plenty of playtime and affection. I respect your home and any guidelines you provide, making sure your pet feels safe, secure, and cherished while you’re away. And if you’d like, I’ll gladly share photo or video updates with you! I know how hard it is missing your babies when you’re away, and I’d love to help you feel at ease and show you they’re being well cared for.

About: I love all kinds of dogs, little wild ones, big slow ones, big sporty ones. They just crack me up. I will treat your pet with the utmost love and care at all times and be communicative with you about any changes in behavior, possible issues. I've had dogs my whole life and have been doing urban pet care for almost 10 years. I clarify, cause farm dogs are a totally different animal and I wouldn't ever even try to leash one. Ha!! I look forward to hearing from you. -Kristy Most of my experience has been with my own pets. I've had cats or dogs (usually both) my entire life. Growing up on a farm they get into all kinds of trouble and frequently need special attention. I also frequently pet sit for friends, neighbors and former employers. I'm very responsible and will care for your pet as you request. No treats unless you say so and no sofa time unless that's ok with you. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs since I was a kid. I've always had animals in my life. Dogs, cats, chickens, a calf I bottle fed, horses... need I go on. Most of my dogs have been in the 60lb range. So I'm used to holding my ground and handling them when they get excited. Since I've been in LA, I have been a surrogate parent to my friend's dogs, but have had my cats Doodie (now with my ex) and Harris (my little southern girl). I also have a special gift for catching "runaway" pets when their owners can't. My experience administering medication Yes. I'm a master of the blow in the face to make them swallow their pills trick. I have also given shots before to a diabetic weenie dog.

About: Your pup will always be in my company, since I’m always at home. Lots of outside time and walks through my neighborhood’s local forest trail. Your dog(s) will have their own space in my kitchen, separate from my dog’s personal space. I am a responsible homeschooling mother of an easy-going, 6 year old daughter ( she loves animals). I am a ‘Stay at Home’ Mom, currently homeschooling my 6 year old daughter through a fantastic charter school. I make my own schedule and can easily accommodate your pet’s schedule into my own. My daughter is very well-behaved, with an easy going disposition, which makes animals love her. My husband also loves all animals, but will not be care-taking for your animals, as he is works full time. I will be the full-time caretaker of your beloved fur-friends. I have 2 portions to my property . One side is fenced on a hillside with a small astro-turfed area for potty breaks. The other side is open with a small water fall and full Astro turf. This gives dogs lots of time outside. I will also keep your dog in the kitchen, where I spend the majority of my time cooking and teaching my daughter kindergarten + computer work at the kitchen table. Your pup will also enjoy the walks around the neighborhood, which includes a lot of trees and nature.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
