Lynette was wonderful with my fur babies. Because my doggies are older and require extensive care, I am very nervous about leaving them. Lynette made me feel comfortable. She tended to their needs and provided the extra care they needed. She is also extremely reliable, which is hard to find. I appreciate her so much!

Air was so great!! Bubba can be aggressive, depending on how you approach him, and he immediately ran up to her and gave her a kiss 🥹 He won’t do a lot of things while I’m gone, but she got him to go outside, potty, fetch, and eat cheese - things he wouldn’t even do for my family off the bat. I appreciated the updates throughout the day, as well as the pictures. This was my first time using Rover, and I’m so glad that I chose Air to watch Bubba while I was visiting for a wedding 🩷 I would ABSOLUTELY rebook if I lived there!!

I couldn’t be happier with the care Krystal provided for my home and my pets. She came over twice before I left town to meet the pets and talk through everything, and she made sure I felt comfortable and safe leaving my pets in her care. It’s always a bit anxiety inducing to leave your babes with someone you don’t know, but Krystal kept me updated with sweet photos and texts about the dogs and cats the entire time. She also left the home in perfectly clean condition. I will absolutely reach out to her in the future whenever I need an overnight sitter.

About: Hello my furry friend lovers!! I have cared for many different kinds of animals in my life, some of which include dogs, cats, birds, mice, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, snakes, goats, chickens and now pot belly pigs. We love making homemade treats in our house so I am currently taking some pet nutrition classes to safely make special dietary treats. I am comfortable with all ages and sizes. I would be more than happy to meet you before any final decisions are made so that we can discuss everything there is to know about your pet. I have experience with different illnesses and medications from working with a rescue where I adopted my own angel with a neurological disorder. We absolutely adore pets and I can promise you that you and your baby will be treated like family. I am a stay at home wife that is taking pet nutrition and business classes so I could someday open my own pet boutique where everything is homemade. I promise no potty breaks will be missed and your baby gets all the love and cuddles they can handle. 😊 We have dogs, cats and pot belly pigs for your pet to play with in our fenced yard but we also have big crates for separation if needed. Your baby will be allowed on our furniture to sleep and get cuddles unless you say otherwise lol we do love our snuggles.

About: I grew up with bunnies, chickens, and dogs! When my neighbors would go on vacation they'd always ask me to take care of their pets even as a child. I love hanging out with animals, their energy is my favorite and I love to cuddle with them. I wanted to learn more about horses so I volunteered to muck stalls just for a chance to learn how people care for them, that's the type of person I am. I also worked as a CNA for a number of years in the medical field so I feel comfortable administering medicines as directed and staying on top of puppy care, elderly care or just general medical dog care as directed. I'm currently looking for work so I'm flexible and free to stay with pets all day and overnight if you are comfortable with that. Whatever you are comfortable with. I know how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pet. I'll respect your home and follow instructions carefully and try to keep to your pets routines so that they don't feel stress from a different person being with them.I'm attentive with walks and always ensure that gates are closed. If you like to receive regular photo updates I can send them as well to show how your pet is doing.

About: More than just pet care — Because Every Dog Deserves a Little Extra Love, Comfort & Care!!!♥️🐾 Animals have always had a special place in my heart. My friends, family, and even people who don’t know me well often tell me, “You’re such an animal whisperer!” because they notice how naturally animals trust me and feel comfortable around me. I’ve always believed that pets are more than just animals — they are family, and they deserve to feel loved, safe, and cared for even when their humans are away. As a lifelong dog owner with over 19 years of experience caring for my own dogs, I understand the trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else. I will care for your pet with the same love, patience, and attention I would want someone to give my own. My goal is for your pup to feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away — and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. I recently graduated from dental school and am currently waiting for my official license to arrive before starting work. Because of this, I have a lot of free time right now and would love to spend it caring for dogs, one of my absolute favorite and most loving creatures! My schedule is very flexible throughout the week. As a recent dental graduate, I bring a high level of responsibility, care, and attention to detail when looking after pets. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for your dogs, ensuring they get plenty of attention, affection, and proper care while in my supervision.

About: I’ve cared for multiple pets since childhood, big and small. I understand they’re like family, and I’d treat yours as my own. Reliable and compassionate, you can rest assured your pet will have a great time and most importantly, be safe. I currently work part time so I’m available quite often durning the week, I also try to be most available peak times you may be working or in school, to ensure your pet is active and safe while you’re not home. I really enjoy playing and being active with the pets, and if they’re not up for it im ensuring I keep a close eye on them. I’m also very attentive to whatever protocols or training you have in place for your pet in your home.

We highly recommend Melanie and expect to use her again. Right away, we determined her to be an animal lover and experienced caregiver. She spent a good amount of time getting aquainted during our pre‐visit and again the day we left for vacation to help our anxious pup adjust. She was flexible, dependable, forthcoming and an effective communicator. She stayed in contact with us throughout the week as well as sending pictures. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing our fur babies were well cared for by Melanie.

Katy was such a cat whisperer with our super shy rescue cat! Spent time bringing her out of her shell and giving her a balance of space and attention when she needed it. We could tell by all the photo and video and verbal updates that our girl was well taken care of. It eased our own anxiety’s as well. Will be calling Katy back everytime!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Cedarpines Park on Rover is $94.25 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 1,770 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Cedarpines Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cedarpines Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cedarpines Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cedarpines Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cedarpines Park. On Rover:

  • 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
