About: If you’re not covered in dog hair, your life is incomplete. Hi, I'm Analissa! I'm a dedicated and compassionate animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and farm animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My goal is to provide a safe, reliable, and stress-free experience while your pets are in my care. I offer pet sitting, drop-in visits, and daytime care, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or simply companionship and a consistent routine, I tailor my care to their individual needs. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I prioritize communication by providing updates, photos, and prompt responses throughout every booking. I am also committed to continuing my education in animal care and I am CPR and Pet First Aid certified as of June 27, 2026 to further strengthening my ability to provide safe and responsible care for your pets. I proudly welcome all families and am LGBTQ+ friendly. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your pet's specific needs, please feel free to send me a direct message. I look forward to meeting you and your furry, feathered, or scaly family members! Caring for pets is a natural part of my routine. I keep my schedule open so I can be flexible and adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or extended care. I prioritize consistency, safety, and giving pets plenty of attention so owners can feel confident while they’re away. I care for pets by following their routine as closely as possible while maintaining a safe, calm, and clean environment. In my home or a client’s home, I start by reviewing feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any behavioral notes provided by the owner.

About: BF's allergies prevent dogs of our own (had dogs since I was in diapers). Time with yours gives me my "fix" AND saves you worry. Can work anywhere with WiFi, so except for gym-time/tennis practice (spring/summer) I can be with your pet/pets from first eye-open to bedtime. Plenty of play/lovin'! Was pre-vet med in college, so not squeamish about pills/shots. Always try to arrange pre-stay meet'n'greet so your baby is not startled by my presence.

About: I have cared for animals of all kinds for over 32 years. As a young child, I was drawn to just about any animal you can think of. I am very detailed and will put your pets first. I am recently retired but now work a couple of days a week, but for only 1/2 days. I do have flexibility in my schedule. My dogs have a safe fenced in area but spend most of their time indoors. I walk and/or exercise them at least two times a day. One of my dogs has medical needs that I handle. My donkeys' food is weighed out to avoid obesity. I think it is important that I earn the trust of a new animal and build on that. Exercise and training can be helpful to pets that will be spending time alone. I am a firm believer that each animal is unique and requires an approach that works for them.

About: My family has fostered and taken in all kinds of animals in need from cats to possums. I have learned how to care for animals with many different personalities as well as how to treat and deal with many kinds of emergencies when they spring up. I'm currently on my summer break before starting my first semester of college so with the exception of hangouts with friends I am free to spend time caring for pets. In my home I prioritize my pets comfort and happiness ensuring to dedicate time to walking them and giving them play time and time to relax and lounge whenever needed; this will carry over to caring for pets in client's homes as well as giving clients the privacy they deserve in their home.

About: Hello! I have years of experience with family and friends’ dogs, but mostly at an animal shelter ! I volunteered there for 2 years, walking, feeding, and cleaning up after different sized dogs. :) I now have a 7 year old husky named Khoda (in the picture!) that I rescued from the shelter 2 years ago. All I’ll say is huskies have lots of character, so I’m used to all of it ! Haha. With that said, I know how much energy (some) dogs can have. I would be happy to have a quick play session with your best friend ! I have also had a puppy and understand the attention it takes! I’m generally available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and love helping pet parents with walks, drop-ins, and pet care during those days. Tuesdays and Fridays are usually dedicated to my regular work schedule, though there may occasionally be some flexibility depending on the week. If you have specific dates in mind, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to check my availability and see how I can help! As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. The safety and comfort of every pet in my care is my top priority. I will follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I am also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and receiving plenty of attention.

I love to travel, laugh and keep a light energy that my animal friends love. I go hiking every day and love anything outdoors. I like to wake up early and do yoga. I work very flexible hours online so it is easy for me to find time to look after your fur baby for you. In my client”s homes I make sure our Furry friends have fresh water and food if they need to be fed. I make sure they get to go outside for the bathroom. Sometimes other little things are needed like bringing in packages, mail, cleaning out the litter box, walks, movie time, etc.

About: Hi, I’m Vianny, based in Yucaipa, CA. I have over 10 years of experience with dogs through grooming, boarding, and lifelong pet ownership, so being around animals is just part of everyday life for me🐾 I’ve worked with all kinds of breeds and temperaments and feel comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I keep things relaxed and engaging—lots of play, attention, and going with the flow. If you need someone to follow a very strict, structured routine, I may not be the right fit, but if you’re looking for flexibility & fun, I'm your girl! Pet care is already part of my everyday routine because I have pets of my own and I’m home most of the time. I genuinely just enjoy having animals around me. Large, fenced yard and 4 small dogs, so there’s always company and space to play. I can crate your dogs if preferred, but at home, my pups are always free roaming day and night.

Alexa was fantastic! She was very communicative from the moment I booked, worked with my schedule, and took great care of my two large dogs, Tundra and Lluna. She kept me updated throughout each visit, asked questions when she needed clarification, and even let me know immediately when my dogs accidentally broke part of their water dispenser. I really appreciated her honesty and professionalism. She went above and beyond by handling two strong, energetic dogs with patience and a positive attitude. It gave me great peace of mind knowing they were in good hands while I was working. I would absolutely book Alexa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog walker. Thank you so much, Alexa!

Pet owners often describe me as patient, trustworthy, communicative, and attentive to their pets’ needs. About: I have always been an animal lover so I figured that being a pet sitter/dog walker would be a great job for me! I’m currently going to college to be a Veterinarian. I have had tons of experience working with animals, including working at a petting zoo and on a small ranch which I thoroughly enjoyed! I currently have a dog, 2 hamsters, and a fish whom I love and spoil endlessly. I have had many many dogs in my lifetime. My first dog was a rescue from YAPS who, in her old age, became blind and deaf requiring a lot of extra care. My current rescue is a Boxer/Bull Mastiff mix that has severe anxiety and does not get along well with other dogs so I have learned how to handle dogs with an assortment of disabilities. I’m just looking to spend time with animals while earning money to put myself through college!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Oak Glen. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Oak Glen.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Oak Glen. On Rover:

  • 89% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
