About: Could your dog benefit from more than just a standard walk? We go for hikes! Book the puppy walking rate and I’ll pick up your dog, transport them in a crash-rated crate, and take them for a 2-3 mile hike (60-75 mins), typically the Yucaipa Creek South Loop out of Gateway Ranch in Redlands), and then bring them home! Transportation is included within a 15 mile radius of Calimesa. I have been caring for pets (both mine and others’) since my early teens. Dogs are my hobby, primarily nose work sports and dock diving, but also obedience and trick training. I love getting to play with their different personalities and finding what they like to do. I also have two very dog-friendly dogs (and one who doesn’t make good choices so he doesn’t get to hang out with new friends), so if you’d like your pup to walk with a buddy just let me know! I work a fairly flexible schedule from home, with Friday being my part-time in-office day. My dogs go for walks in the mornings and evenings, and occasionally when I need a break from staring at a screen. Adding a drop-in visit or walk or swapping out my dogs for a customer’s dog(s) is easy peasy! As I was traveling to the area with an unknown schedule, Elizabeth was super flexible in scheduling, and extremely accommodating where she was willing to watch my pup at a different location than initially scheduled- was a HUGE blessing as my puppy is extremely sensitive to change and has a very high level of anxiety. Elizabeth sent a ton of photos and videos all day (I asked her to not hold back as it provides relief knowing my pup is doing well) which was greatly appreciated. “Heather is all about the dogs was my first thought! There is a nice large crate with AC and drapes for a cozy cave. Every place is available for the pups with beds, cool pads, pillows, etc. backyard and the pools is gated off. My dog was overwhelmed though as there were more dogs then he is used to. He liked Heather I could tell. She is very attentive and asks the right questions in order to provide the best care for your pup”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I grew up on a farm and we had a wide range of animals. Dogs have always had a special place in my heart and are my happy place when I’m down. I have experience with every size dog and am comfortable with puppies and senior dogs. I have experience with administering medications and shots. I have three small dogs of my own, one of whom is trained to smell my blood sugar, another is a survivor of trauma. The last is just a goofball. I work full time in a hospital, but only three days a week. My work days are Friday through Sunday. Monday through Thursday are completely open. I hardly ever go out except for errands, and dogs are more fun than people, so I’d rather spend time with them. My yard is not fenced, but I have plenty of time to go on walks with them and three fur babies to keep them company. I have a crate if needed, a puppy play pen from when my babies were little, and plenty of pee pads in case of accidents. Plus a big comfy bed to cuddle in.

I accompany them in the morning and at night to potty. Always watching. I am ok with dogs on my couch, but do have clean dog beds as well. If overnight, I would arrange a similar arrangement to what they are used to. I have dog beds in my master bedroom next to me or they can be in a crate if necessary for their comfort. Water bowls are inside and outside. I feed morning and evening. I try to stick to what works best based on dogs health and energy.

Can work anywhere with WiFi, so except for gym-time/tennis practice (spring/summer) I can be with your pet/pets from first eye-open to bedtime. Plenty of play/lovin'! About: I’ve been dog sitting for 6+ years now, my previous job was a dog bather and i worked at a rescue home for dogs so I have a load of experience with all kinds of them. I’ve dealt with young, old, hyper, couch potatoes and many disabled dogs and you can trust me to take the best care of them possible. About: I have cared for animals of all kinds for over 32 years. As a young child, I was drawn to just about any animal you can think of. I am very detailed and will put your pets first. I am recently retired but now work a couple of days a week, but for only 1/2 days. I do have flexibility in my schedule. My dogs have a safe fenced in area but spend most of their time indoors. I walk and/or exercise them at least two times a day. One of my dogs has medical needs that I handle. My donkeys' food is weighed out to avoid obesity. I think it is important that I earn the trust of a new animal and build on that. Exercise and training can be helpful to pets that will be spending time alone. I am a firm believer that each animal is unique and requires an approach that works for them.

About: My home has a backyard and a designated dog run, giving dogs a safe space to get outside, stretch their legs, play, and enjoy some fresh air. I’ll treat your pet like part of the family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I’m very outdoorsy, so if your dog enjoys adventures, I’d love to take them along! Depending on their needs and your preferences, I can offer neighborhood walks, lake walks, hikes, and other outdoor activities. Of course, I’m just as happy caring for a pup who prefers relaxing at home and getting lots of attention. I have a 5 1/2 year old son that would love to give your pup some extra love if that is something you and your pup are okay with. If not, that’s totally okay and I can keep them separated. As far as the pets on furniture- we usually do not allow that. However, if you have a pet that is more comfortable and request it, I can make an exception. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and companionship while they’re with me! They’ll have lots of interaction, plenty of opportunities to enjoy our backyard and dog run, and lots of time to play or relax.
