About: I have cared for animals of all kinds for over 32 years. As a young child, I was drawn to just about any animal you can think of. I am very detailed and will put your pets first. I am recently retired but now work a couple of days a week, but for only 1/2 days. I do have flexibility in my schedule. My dogs have a safe fenced in area but spend most of their time indoors. I walk and/or exercise them at least two times a day. One of my dogs has medical needs that I handle. My donkeys' food is weighed out to avoid obesity. I think it is important that I earn the trust of a new animal and build on that. Exercise and training can be helpful to pets that will be spending time alone. I am a firm believer that each animal is unique and requires an approach that works for them.

We have a dog named Darby (3yr old Lab/Pit Mix) and 2 cats, Pepper (12yr old Long Hair), and Cubby (2yr old Tabby). I currently only have commitments on Monday and Friday mornings. My schedule is pretty flexible otherwise. Would prefer morning visits to be anytime after 9am. I am available weekdays and weekends. On all my visits I do a check to ensure the yard fencing and gates are closed/secure and make sure doors are locked when I leave. I am fine with scooping poop if needed. Always ensuing your dog has had sufficient time to potty and has water (and food if requested) before leaving.

We have kids, cats, and dogs and everyone gets along. We keep the upstairs blocked off so the cats have their own space to play and relax. I only ask that your pet is friendly, and if you have a dog that they are a minimal barker as we like to keep our neighbors happy. I can help with potty training, bathing, and medicines too…whatever your pet needs. All you need to provide is your pets favorite food. I’ll take care of the rest. I work part time as a nurse, usually during the nights and my husband is a stay at home dad. I have plenty of time and energy to devote to your fur baby. I have a large home and yard with plenty of grass. There are also several dog parks within our community for your fur baby to play.
