About: I’m a reliable, caring pet sitter who keeps routines consistent, provides personalized attention, ensures pets feel safe and comfortable, and gives plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I have two cats myself, so I prioritize consistent visits, feeding, walks, and attention to keep pets comfortable and safe. While I am not offering boarding or day care at my own home at this time, I am quite responsible in my treatment of other people's property while caring for their pets. I can follow directions, keep gates closed, and follow safety protocols.
About: As a vegan and former PETA staffer, I love and respect all animals. I also have veterinary technician, veterinary clinic, and animal shelter experience. I've rescued and cared for dogs (both large and small), cats, birds, rodents, reptiles, fish, horses and rabbits. I am completely dedicated to the safety, equality, and well-being of all animals. I work part-time as a photographer so have ample time to take care of your animal friends. And can, of course, provide you with some great photos to put your mind at ease while you're away from your fur babies! I am very active and love a good walk or hike. While I strive to always provide a fun, attention-filled experience, safety is my primary concern, so you can rest assured your animal friends will be in good hands for those times you can't be with them.
About: Hey I’m Nat! I have 2 pups of my own, a poodle mix and a Dalmatian/Great Dane :) I’ve also taken care of my friends and families pets including puppies, a kitten and some aquatic turtles and fish while they traveled!! Im self employed so i work on my own schedule from home!! Gives me lots of free time to take your pups on walks and/or care for them in my home. I have a fenced yard and both my pups are socialized/ crate trained as well as having different parts of my home closed off so I’d be able to keep your pup safe depending on their needs whether they do best without other pups or are social and wanna play.

About: I've grown up with dogs, taking care of them regularly. Living in the desert has equipped me with the skills to care for animals in a harsh climate such as constantly providing water, scheduling walks out of the heat, and watching out for wildlife. I also volunteered at an animal shelter while I was in high school where I learned more about the needs of various animals, learning that each have their own personality! I'm currently home for the summer from college, so my hours are very flexible. I am available weekdays and weekends to help with feeding, walking, and just hanging out with your pets! I can easily commute to your home to care for your pet. I'm here to adapt to their needs and ensure that they are happy and healthy!
About: My name is Brittney, I am about to be 30 years young! I am very reliable, outgoing and steadfast. I have been caring for and house sitting for 12 years now! I get along easily with dogs, cats any animal really. Animals are very important to family's , children, seniors and I am always aware of my surroundings an can handle situations very well. I know animals are apart of most family's life so worrying is only our first instinct, but to know someone will be there to help, helps ease those worries. As I said before I am very reliable, and also have a daughter, she is 7, Being a single mom has made me more devoted to be better in every way possible! I work very early, am off bye noon, and have the weekends off! My mom is staying with me she also does Rover and helps in the mornings before she goes to work. I have a huge, fenced in yard very well gated. My house is clean, specially the floors for the fur babies to get around easily.
About: I have more than 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, including senior pets, special-needs animals, and medically complex pets. Most recently, I worked at a no-kill animal shelter in Southern California, where I worked with animals of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. I gained experience with recently surrendered pets, shy animals, senior pets, and animals adjusting to new environments. I also cared for my own diabetic dog, Tater, for three years, including twice-daily insulin injections and careful monitoring of his health and routine. That experience taught me how important consistency, observation, and patience are when caring for animals. I am comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and maintaining established routines. I work especially well with senior pets, anxious animals, and pets that need a calm, patient approach. As both a longtime pet owner and homeowner, I understand the trust people place in someone caring for their animals and home. My goal is simple: to keep your pets safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I work remotely as a technical writer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend significant time at home with the pets in my care. This flexibility makes it easy for me to maintain feeding schedules, provide walks, administer medications if needed, and give pets the companionship and attention they are accustomed to receiving. I enjoy having animals around while I work and appreciate the comfort that a consistent, calm routine provides for them. I care for pets in their own homes whenever possible because familiar surroundings, routines, and schedules help reduce stress while their owners are away. Before each booking, I take time to learn about your pet's normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, favorite activities, and any behavioral or medical concerns. I follow care instructions carefully and provide regular updates so owners know their pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or overall well-being and will communicate any concerns promptly. My goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible while providing a calm, safe, and dependable presence in your home.

We are happy to follow your lead on crate training if desired. We provide toys and treats if you approve. We love park walks and have 2.5 acres to explore. We have the ability to keep dogs separate from ours if needed.
About: I’ve had more than a dozen pets in my life both from fostering and adopting and all of them have been shown love like never before. I love animals with my whole heart. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, a cat rescue, and I was a Girl Scout for 7 years. I love helping others and’s more than anything I want your pets to be happy, safe, and comfortable in your absence. I work part time 3 days a week for 7 hour shifts however they are typically scattered throughout the week on odd days and times. I am willing to do just about anything to attend to your pets needs and I will always make sure they are safe, healthy, and happy as can be in my care. In my own home I can feed, water, pet, love, cuddle, play with, go on walks with, and administer medications, and brush pets. I can do all of the same within clients homes with the exception of walks (IF I’m unfamiliar with the area).
About: Hello! My name is Sam. I love dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have watched and taken care of dogs for many years. My husband and I have a Australian Red healer named Arturo and he also loves other dogs but if yours doesn't that totally ok! I would love to come walk them around the neighborhood, watch them for the night or weekend or just check up and feed them if needed. I am available and in Yucca Valley but able to travel to other nearby cities. I am a student and working freelance right now so I have a lot of time to be flexible right now. I can do weekdays or weekends. I would take special care when someones home and to leave it as I found it if not better. If at my place, I am a very neat and clean person and my dog has a good sized yard to have plenty of space if it was to be shared.
About: Hello! Don't let my profile location deter you from reaching out, I have a very wide service area. I am available to care for all of your pets while you're away! Please contact me for a quote if you have a pet you'd like me to care for other than a dog or cat (submit it as a dog/cat request) ☺️ New to Rover? I have a discount code for you if you book your first service with me! I am available for night and evening drop-ins to feed and play with your pets. Do you work nights and hate leaving your babies alone? Are you going to a fancy dinner and want to make sure your pets are okay when you're gone? I can come by and give you some peace of mind. I can also care for other pets, including lizards, fish, hamsters, rabbits, etc. I am a huge animal lover. I adopted a senior dog years ago and he was the best dog ever, up until his very last day in December, 2023. Our household has water snails, fish, three cats, a dog, and a pig! I have experience with rabbits and hamsters and other small pets, and I have experience with special needs animals. My longest boarding to date was 5 months for a senior cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia. My schedule recently changed, so I am available on most days for drop-ins and walks. I also offer boarding, house sitting, and daycare. We are a very animal friendly household. I have a fenced yard and a kiddie pool so your doggos can play and keep cool! My piggy will be there to keep your baby company and I have a 14 year old kid who loves to snuggle and play with all your pets! Cats will enjoy their own space so they can feel comfortable ☺️ !!!Important Notes!!!: I love watching and caring for your snuggle bug(s)! However, I have to sleep too. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!
About: I have helped professionals in the veterinary field groom and train animals. I have also been pet sitting for family and have had many pets throughout my life! I am currently a part-time student at Copper Mountain College, and work weekends at Hi-Desert Tails. I have a bit of free time as I have online classes! I will have to schedule pet care around my work, but I’m very flexible outside of that! I will be able to play with and take care of any dogs or cats, no matter the size or energy level! I can also easily crate if needed. Please let me know if there are cameras inside the home, and give written instructions so I don’t forget any details!
About: For many years I've taken care of animals. I have acquired an ability to adapt to the needs of specific pets. Whatever they need, I'm there. I'm detail oriented and very observant when it comes to animals. Rest assured, I will make sure your baby is taken care of to the best of my ability. Comfort and care are my priorities. I'm extremely open! I like to work around your schedule. I live with family right now and do online schooling. It's asynchronous meaning I can do it any time. I always keep my pets comfortable and clean. From grooming, to cleaning bedding and washing out bowls. I'm very cautious to any contaminates that can compromise the safety of a pet. Bacteria is especially rampant in outdoor areas, so I make sure my dogs are clean in the area they sleep/eat.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
