About: Hey there! I'd love the opportunity to care for your pets while you're away or take them out when you're too busy. I live with my own little crew of three cats and one dog and have fostered and cared for other animals over the years. I'm located in Yucca Valley on the mesa and have experience working and volunteering with cat and dog rescue groups, including handling large breeds and recently rescued dogs. I can provide walking, pet-sitting in your home, and active play for any size dog. I'm highly responsible, attentive, and punctual, and sensitive to pets with special needs or quirks. About: I have helped professionals in the veterinary field groom and train animals. I have also been pet sitting for family and have had many pets throughout my life! I am currently a part-time student at Copper Mountain College, and work weekends at Hi-Desert Tails. I have a bit of free time as I have online classes! I will have to schedule pet care around my work, but I’m very flexible outside of that! I will be able to play with and take care of any dogs or cats, no matter the size or energy level! I work part-time as a photographer so have ample time to take care of your animal friends. My longest boarding to date was 5 months for a senior cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia. My schedule recently changed, so I am available on most days for drop-ins and walks. My piggy will be there to keep your baby company and I have a 14 year old kid who loves to snuggle and play with all your pets! If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed.
