About: I've had dogs my entire adult life. My last dog was a special girl and didn't get along with other dogs so when I went to work I hired someone to visit and hang out with her and I called that person her "friend for hire". I'd love to be your pets friend for hire. In addition to having my own dogs I have been a volunteer with a local shelter for the past year. I have experience with dog handling, walking, training, medical recovery, some medication administration, and general playing/loving/cuddling. I have experience with special needs dogs, untrained dogs, unsocialized dogs, senior dogs, puppies, and even some mess dogs. I also grew up with cats and started my volunteer work "socializing" with cats and kittens. I love all the furry little friends! I currently make my own schedule as a personal trainer so I am flexible and available to meet your dog's needs. Weekdays or weekends are available. Want to go for a hike or rock climbing? I've got your furry friend covered. As someone who had an aggressive dog I understand that it can be challenging trusting someone new with your pet. You know your animal best and I will listen and adhere to any/all boundaries you have for their health and enjoyment.
About: I have helped professionals in the veterinary field groom and train animals. I have also been pet sitting for family and have had many pets throughout my life! I am currently a part-time student at Copper Mountain College, and work weekends at Hi-Desert Tails. I have a bit of free time as I have online classes! I will have to schedule pet care around my work, but I’m very flexible outside of that! I will be able to play with and take care of any dogs or cats, no matter the size or energy level! I can also easily crate if needed. Please let me know if there are cameras inside the home, and give written instructions so I don’t forget any details!

About: I have had larger dogs my entire life and have pet sat for family for about 4 years. I love animals and am willing to work with dogs who may need extra help! I am currently a full time student at SUU and a part time employee. I’m willing to work with your schedule as long as your willing to work with mine! I studied animal science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, so I can also care for livestock and various species of animals more than cats and dogs as well. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
