“I would definitely recommend Renée as a dog walker! She takes my pup on nice long walks and has been a huge help as I adjust to my new work schedule. Kayenta took to her right away. She’s flexible, reliable, and friendly. Super pleasant/easy experience working with her and I am already a repeat client. Thanks Renée!”

About: I have a farm and a lifelong love for all animals! Currently, I care for my three furry friends and livestock, ensuring they receive the best care possible. My hands-on experience with a variety of animals and a trusted reputation among friends and family set me apart. I specialize in drop-ins, walking, and occasional overnight pet care, providing attentive and personalized care for your pets. Whether it's a quick visit or a refreshing walk, your pets will be in good hands. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine! As of right now, I am free most days during the daytime, unless stated. (Usually from 12:30pm till 3pm, then anytime after 6pm) Additionally, I sometimes bring someone from my family to accompany me (approved by you ofc). This provides better engagement for your pets and ensures there’s someone to assist if anything were to happen. At a client’s house, I prioritize creating a comfortable environment for their pets by following their routine and preferences. I ensure they have plenty of exercise, companionship, and playtime, while also respecting the home’s guidelines. Communication is key, so I’ll provide regular updates and stay attentive to their pets' needs!
About: Hi, I'm Simone. Thanks for visiting my profile! I'm a photographer currently working on a project and living in Joshua Tree. I adore animals more than anything else. Lucky for me, animals seem to love me back, and I connect easily with most cats and dogs that I meet. My two kitties Bert and Ernesto were the loves of my life and I had 13 loving, goofy years with them. I miss them so much. I'm not ready to have any animals of my own, which is why I would be delighted to spend time with and care for your animal/s. In the last year of his life, one of my cats was sick and he required extensive nursing at home. I gave him daily meds including liquids and pills, and I administered fluids via subcutaneous injections for several months. I believe in maintaining a clean environment for animals so that they feel the highest level of comfort possible in their world. I know that cats need exercise, and I prioritize play if they are interested in engaging. I know how stressful it is to travel and leave animals at home. I am highly reliable and trustworthy, and your furry friends are my number one priority. I also love dogs and have walked many dogs for family and friends. I have a large, secure, fenced in yard for doggie daycare and boarding. I work independently as a photographer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to structure my day around caring for animals. Whether it’s a drop-in or staying overnight, I’m able to give your cat my full attention. When caring for cats in a client’s home, I aim to maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment that keeps your cat comfortable and secure. I’m careful with doors, windows, and potential escape routes, and I always check for hiding spots to make sure everyone is accounted for. I respect your home as if it were my own, follow your care instructions closely, and make sure your cat’s routine stays consistent. I’m also happy to provide updates, photos, or notes if that helps you feel more at ease while you’re away.
About: Hi i'm BReN. I have over 15+ years experience volunteering at animal shelters and working with kit kats and pups of all breeds, sizes and ages. Over the years I have logged in many hours leash walking, training, socializing, running playgroups and often the most needed... Simply just laying in kennels quietly, softly giving love and cuddles to shy, often scared new arrivals. Along with daily caring for pups, I have also spent hours hanging with kit kats of all ages, along with feeding, cleaning litter boxes and playrooms. Especially during kitten season. As a designer by trade, over the years, I often have pitched in to supply candid fun shots and short videos of the many playgroups that helped promote each unique pup. I currently have two entertaining chihuahua mix rescues... A 14 year old (MADiSON) and an 8 year old (PHiNEAS). The latter, is a tiny apple headed chihuahua, who can be more than a bit needy at times and definitely runs the show. That said... he is the "apple of my eye"! I am a designer by nature, but since relocating from the bay area, where i logged in many hours a week volunteering over the years, I have been missing my shelter time. I would like to use my experience to not only bring in some extra cash but also have the opportunity to care and spend time with a variety of new furry friends in the area. Client's furry kids emotional, mental and physical well being is my number one concern. Safety and attention to requested details are part of that mission.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for the last 40 years—my own & others. I’m great with energetic dogs. Have also taken care of cats & birds & donkeys. I’m an author working on my second book, so my time is flexible. I have two dogs of my own but they don’t mind if I hang out with other animals. I have two dogs of my own—one from New York, the other a desert dog—so I understand the unique challenges of taking care of all types of dogs in this environment.
About: I love being with dogs! I have been a dog Mom for 35 years, and I run a nonprofit dog rescue. Through my extensive experience with dogs, I feel I understand the emotions, language and needs of pups. My joy is seeing dogs feel safe and cared for, and watching them thrive! I am good with dogs in all stages of life, especially senior pups. I am home with the dogs! Dog care and being with the dogs is my priority. Your dogs will have loving companionship and attention, to help them feel comfortable, relaxed and nurtured. My home is set up for the comfort of the pups! Dogs are allowed on all furniture and beds, for better snuggling. I have fenced yards made for the pups’ safety and security, and I own 28 surrounding acres of beautiful, pristine desert land, where pups can run, walk and play. There are no roads, traffic or passing cars. Dogs love the freedom of this exquisite area! I call it a Doggy Disneyland!
About: I am a certified dog trainer with experience in caring for and training dogs of all ages and breeds. I focus on building a bond through communication and trust. Caring for animals and training is what i do everyday, whether its for my own pets or helping educate families about theirs. I will try my best to accommodate your pets needs so they feel safe and comfortable. I have a fenced in yard and many ways for your dog to socialize as I have two dogs, cats, and plenty of friendly people and animals they can interact with.
About: I have helped professionals in the veterinary field groom and train animals. I have also been pet sitting for family and have had many pets throughout my life! I am currently a full-time student at Copper Mountain College, but I have a lot of free time as I have online classes! I’m almost always available outside of class. I will be able to play with and take care of any dogs or cats, no matter the size or energy level! I can also easily crate if needed. Please let me know if there are cameras inside the home, and give written instructions so I don’t forget any details!

About: Since growing up with dogs and cats treated like family, I understand how important pets are in our lives. When you go out of town or need assistance, I will provide in-your-home care to your pets so they feel comfortable and are under the least amount of stress possible - and we'll have fun too! I like to learn how you care for your pets so I can provide the same standards and familiarity. I have experience caring for many types of pets including dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, and fish. I have volunteered as a foster pet parent for rescued dogs and cats, and worked as a pet care associate for two years. My services can include feeding, administering medication, exercise, and other pet needs as individually specified. Your pets are an important part of your family. Please allow me to treat them to the highest level of care while you are away! I am a gig worker so when I'm not on a project, I'm usually at home with plenty of time for regular outings and attention. I have experience spending time with pets of most types, and two dogs of my own. I often travel for work and need to hire pup care, so I aim to provide the high level of care that I would hope my pups would receive when I am away. I am a tidy person who will care for your home and pets as though they are my own.
About: I have extensive experience taking care of pets whether they be my own or thru pet sitting. Most of my pet sitting experience is thru trusted house sitters where I have the bulk of my reviews. Please message me for more details! 🥰 I’m able to go on long walks, transport in my car, play and everything else your pet may need. I love taking pictures and can update daily if requested. I work remotely from home so I’m around my pets all day! This also gives me plenty of time to do drop in visits and walks at any part of the day. I adhere to all guidelines in the care guide provided by owners or just their verbal or written directions on how to care for their pet. My own pets over the years I would take on regular walks daily, feed them daily and bathe them twice monthly. I understand that some animals need to build trust with strange humans and I’m extremely patient and I don’t get alarmed easily as I’ve had so much experience with animals especially reactive ones.
“Elizabeth very kindly filled in last minute to walk my dog, Charlie. She is absolutely wonderful - highly responsive, great with the pup, and so kind. She even spent time training Charlie. I recommend her so highly to anyone looking for a pet sitter/walker!”

“Rejoice took Escobar for a good walk, so that he actually got some exercise- which we really appreciated! Plus, she was so sweet to meet him beforehand & be patient w/ his protectiveness of our home. Definitely heard all of our particulars & followed through. Will definitely be booking in the future!”

“Excellent walker. We used Vanessa as a quick substitute, and she did a great job. Very responsive, 30+ minute walks, and was very friendly to our beagle. I definitely recommend.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve had the incredible privilege of caring for a wide variety of pets. From a hamster, gerbil, guinea pig, and rabbit to ducks, four cats, and three amazing dogs, my home has always been full of furry (and feathered) friends. Two of my beloved dogs, Frank and Ginger, taught me the importance of patience and attentive care, as they both required daily medications—Frank for a heart condition and Ginger for allergies. It wasn’t always easy, especially with Ginger's picky eating habits, but with dedication, we made every day count. I’ve also spent countless hours volunteering at animal shelters, including walking dogs at SW Washington Humane Society and Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter, as well as working with cats at Homeward Pet Adoption Center. These experiences have deepened my passion for ensuring animals feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Currently, I’m a proud dog mom to Tanner, a two-year-old rescue from Desert Hot Springs. He’s been my loyal companion, road trip sidekick, and hiking partner since he was just seven months old. Tanner will join me on any overnight stays, and I’d be happy to arrange a meet and greet to ensure your pets and mine are comfortable together. In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m also certified in small animal massage from the Northwest School of Animal Massage, which I completed in February 2023. I’m excited to bring this holistic approach to pet care, ensuring your pets feel relaxed and nurtured during their time with me. I look forward to caring for your pets with the same love, dedication, and expertise I’ve given to my own. I am available for drop-in visits to care for your pets on most days. Whether you need someone to feed, walk, or simply spend time with your furry friends, I am here to help ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve while you are away. I am excited to share that I reside on a fully fenced 2-acre property in Landers, which provides an ideal environment for pets to run and explore. With ample space, it truly feels like an amusement park for dogs! The open layout features very few obstacles, allowing them to run freely and safely while always remaining within my line of sight. Additionally, the pets in my care will have open access to both residences located within the fenced area, ensuring they have a comfortable and secure environment. This setup not only promotes physical activity but also allows for plenty of social interaction and playtime, making it a perfect place for your furry family members to enjoy their time while you are away.
About: I've grown up living around and taking care of animals since I turned 5. Dealing with Pitbulls, Chihuahua's, and so on. I've also been around plenty of cats in my life to know how to take care of them. (Just minus hairless cats, never been around them before.) I'm very patient when it comes to pets, knowing that it's usually best to let them come to you. I also know how to give pets any medications they may need. Just not injections. I've got college classes on Monday's-Thurdays, and I will list the times each class. But after December 18th my time is mostly open during the week. When caring for pets in clients homes, I will keep my eyes on them. Making sure they're taken out when needed for potty breaks and walks, play time, feeding when necessary and being sure their toy's are cleaned up.
About: As a mom and dog owner myself, I am sensitive to the needs and feelings of animals as they are just like kids. I have taken care of animals my entire life, from small dogs, big dogs, territorial dogs, horses, cats, and a bunch of other creatures. We even have our own animal CBD line on the market for dogs in pain or with ptsd. I’m active, love to walk, believe in positive reinforcement. We have a perfect yard for animals to safely play and a large home with a loving family to make your loved one feel safe when they are missing their people. My dog friends end up calling me Auntie Sal as we take them in as family. I’m currently flexible and have the ability for same day walks, last minute trips and pop ins. I can work with your schedule most days. My husband is my tag team back as well. I have two fences in yards one for running and the other for safe play. I never leave them unattended. We are happy to follow your lead on crate training if desired. We provide toys and treats if you approve. We love park walks and have 2.5 acres to explore. We have the ability to keep dogs separate from ours if needed.

About: I had dogs all through childhood and college, and miss having a four-legged friend around! Sadly, my own work travel schedule prevents me from having a doggo of my own right now, so I thought that it would be a good compromise to lend a hand to other frequent flyers who love their pup too much to put them in the kennel. Rest assured that your dog will not get just a 15-minute lap around the block to pee, I'll take him or her to the dog park, on a hike, or if your pup is more low-key, I'll totally snuggle on the couch. My pet ownership experience is mostly with big dogs (sheperds), so that's definitely my soft spot, but I've taken care of all breeds and sizes through volunteering as a foster with a rescue group in my former home of Washington, DC. I have a reliable car, so it's easy for me to get to your place to check in a couple of times a day. I am self-employed and work from home, so I am pretty flexible. Rover requires at least 25 words explaining my work from home schedule, so these are additional words. I will strive to stick to your pet's usual routine whether I am sitting at your home or boarding in my own home. They are already missing their humans, and maintaining their routine gives them one less thing to be anxious about.
