About: I have Base access! I have loved and cared for pets through word of mouth for many years for family and friends. Dogs, cats and kittens, and even guinea pigs, I treat all animals with unconditional kindness and care! I enjoy walking dogs just as much as they do! I am unable to board pets in my own apartment. For drop in-visits, I can certainly come to your residence! I am typically available Monday-Friday, from 6am to 3pm! I hope to work with animals in my free time. Another note- I have base access to MCAGCC so I am able to care for pets on base too! With regard to the pet owner's instructions, I will feed pets properly and timely and clean up after myself and your pets in your home. I am very happy to play with and entertain your pets, be it a game of fetch or endless scratches!
“We hired Boston to do bi weekly walks for our two pups, Koa and Jax. Koa has always been very wary of strangers and has a lot of "stranger danger" related anxiety. Boston has been great on working with her the last few walks despite her protests, and has been very patient and understanding. Jax, our younger pup, has warmed up pretty well to him already! Boston has always been on time and let us know in advance when he is coming over. He has been very friendly, professional, and kind toward our dogs. We highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of animals pretty much my entire life. I grew up on a farm with cats, dogs, horses, and all kinds of other animals. I'm very active and would love to take your dog on a hike or long walk but I can also lounge around with the older ones too! I've primarily owned rescued dogs, so I'm familiar with navigating a variety of behavioral issues (e.g., leash reactivity, dog aggression, prey drive, separation anxiety). I also have experience raising puppies, so I'm familiar with the crate training, potty training, and other typical puppy adventures! Along those same lines, I have experience dealing with dogs that have special medical needs (e.g., special baths, diets, medication), so I am equipped to handle your pets medical needs. I work remotely and make my own hours, so I can be home with your pet at all times and adjust my schedule according to your pets needs. I will try to keep your pets schedule as close to normal. If you have a backyard your pet is used to running around, I will be sure to let them run around. If your pet is used to going on several walks a day, I will them on several walks a day. If you dog sleeps in a crate, I will crate him/her at night. If you dog sleeps in the bed with you, he/she can sleep in the bed with me!
About: I grew up around all sorts of animals and absolutely adored them with all my heart. I was raised partially on my father’s ranch in Cache Valley and partially in Salt Lake with my mother, that’s due to divorced parents, but both of them have had their fair share of pets. While I was living with my mother in high school they got me a puppy, Oliver, he’s a mini golden doodle and him and I were inseparable. He was the easiest dog to train, but he’s got a lot of energy so I always took him on walks, played fetch and spent a lot of time being active with him. Unfortunately I couldn’t take him when I moved out because they got another puppy shortly after getting him and I wasn’t going to take him away from his brother. Living on the ranch, I would tend to the cows, horses, dogs, and cats. That was quite frankly one of the only reasons I’d get out of bed so early in the morning! Occasionally when my dad and his wife go on trips they’ll bring their new puppy over for me to watch at my place. I also have two cats of my own, Milo and Binx. I adopted Milo a few years ago when he was 8 years old and 20 lbs, he’s a big old sweetheart. Binx is a little under a year and she is absolutely insane but they’re both my entire world. All in all I am one of the biggest animal lovers and I would, without a doubt, take care of yours like they were my own. My only job is currently with Rover so I’m always on the go to a different place. My fur babies and clients fur babies get all the love and attention every chance I get to give them! Safety overall is one of the most important things in caring for an animal. Although, it does depend on the service you are needing. Generally, I always like to ensure that they can trust and respect me, and vice versa. I also make sure there aren’t any small objects they could choke on or swallow nearby. I like to keep a close eye on them as well, you never know what their curious minds will get them into next.
“Mary did a great job walking my dog when I was at work and watching her when I was out of town. It was nice having someone I could trust with my dog when I was gone for several days. I would not hesitate to book her again.”

About: There’s just nothing like the happiness a dog (or cat) brings to our lives! They’re always there for us, and they ask so little of us in return. Our pets have an amazing, giving spirit, and it’s definitely their selflessness that inspired me to become a pet sitter! I believe that animals need just as much love as we do, so I want to put a smile on as many faces as I possibly can. Not to mention, I love that I can give back to my community at the same time by providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away. I can’t wait to meet your pet! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pet and care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new clients! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! When your pet is in my care, I’ll always send tons of updates along so you can be in the loop on everything we’ve done during the day. I’m happy to send detailed information on anything that you need to know just how they’re doing—from behaviors to exercise times to meal prep. Likewise, those updates will always have accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pet and I are having together! I’m also very easy to get in touch with, so I’ll always be on call in case you have any questions or concerns. I’m available for drop ins, walks and short overnights. I am in school finishing my masters degree but tend to be pretty flexible overall, if you have a question send a message! I do drop in visits to your home and follow all instructions left. Times and expectations are agreed upon before arrival. I can let pets outside to use the restroom, feed them, give medication etc just ask! I also had a diabetic cat so I can perform injections if needed.

Hi! I’m Xaiviea, I’m 29, and animals have been the biggest part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for just about everything—puppies, kittens, parrots, reptiles, ferrets, chinchillas, barn animals—you name it! I spent a couple years as a professional dog trainer at Petco, regularly volunteer at local shelters, and have been an emergency placement foster many times. I’ve even dabbled in reptile husbandry and helped get my own mom into reptiles—she now has five, and I help her care for them! Right now I live with family to help out my elderly parents, and I share my life with four lovable Frenchies and my sphynx cat, Chicken. (Yes, his name is Chicken. Yes, he lives up to it. 😂) My long-term dream is to open two animal rescues—one just for French Bulldogs and one for all animals—with tons of space for everything from horses to hedgehogs. I also hope to go back to school for biology and zoology, and I’m using Rover to help save for that goal. I treat every pet like my own—furry kids with unique needs, personalities, and big emotions. You can trust me to keep them safe, loved, and totally spoiled. 💖 Thanks for reading—I can’t wait to meet your babies! My schedule is completely open and i promise I will make caring for your pets my first priority. I can stay as long as you'd like or I can pop in as many times as you'd like. Whatever you want I'll make happen! I'm an animal freak and provide the best care possible. My dogs are all on individual diets and have there supplements and all! I don't play when it comes to pet care! I take pride in how I care for my pets and your pets will get the exact same treatment.

I am currently job hunting, so I am always home with plenty of time to care for your beloved pets. I only ask to arrange a meet and greet before a service is booked. I live in a house on 5 acres of unfenced land. I do have a cat of my own so overnights will have to be at my home, otherwise I am flexible.

About: I am different than your average premier pet sitter because I have unparalleled breadth of experience caring for a diverse range of pets. From the loyal companionship of a dog to the independent charm of a cat, the delicate care of a hamster, and the unique aquatic needs of an axolotl, my comprehensive understanding of varied species and their individual requirements surpasses that of your peers. My adeptness in catering to the distinct personalities and preferences of each pet, coupled with my unwavering commitment to their well-being, ensures a level of care and attention that is unmatched in the industry. I am currently an active duty military member looking to make a little extra cash on the side, and gain extra happiness by caring your pet(s)! I am available Monday-Friday after 4pm, Saturday after 1pm, and all day Sunday. Some time in the near future I will have a home to welcome your pets to if you need those services! I do not currently have a home to care for pets, as I reside in the barracks. Previously when I have owned pets I will throughly research their needs and their biology to make sure I can make their environment is safe, fun, and versatile. I am currently looking for an apartment/home and I am looking for something that will allow me to make one of the bedrooms into a full-on cat room, so that when I decide to adopt a cat they will have an entire playroom. I will not adopt an animal until it can live the best possible life, and I understand all their needs. I will treat your animals the same. It is not just about watching your pets but being attentive to their every need because they rely completely on whoever is caring for them. When I am pet sitting for your animal, it will be my full-time job and I will care for the animal as if it were my own. And I promise you, whatever the species, personality, special requirements, I already love them ❤️!

We have been very fortunate to have Ashley as our dog walker and pet sitter the last few months. She has been absolutely fantastic, our pets love her, and we will miss her greatly! She has always been patient, kind, and wonderful to our dogs. I honestly think our dogs walk better on their slip leads now than they did before she started walking them. Ashley is a wonderful person, great with dogs (even shy ones like ours), and has always been very friendly, professional, and responsible. We highly recommend her!! Ashley - Thank you for everything and we wish you the best of luck with the move!! P.S. Koa is going to miss you tremendously!

Sarah is basically our puppy’s favorite human (and yes, we’re a little jealous). She somehow manages to keep a 10-month-old ball of chaos exercised, happy, and still alive—which feels like a superpower. Our pup comes back from walks tired, content, and clearly convinced Sarah is the coolest person on earth. She’s dependable, great with updates, and handles puppy energy like a pro. If your dog enjoys walks, fun, and living their best life, Sarah is the one.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
