About: Hi I’m Serena! I’m currently in my master’s program at CSULB! I work hard and give so much love to every single one of my client’s fur babies depending on all their needs. I've grown up with 5+ dogs in my lifetime and taken care of dogs and cats of every kind and size since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me with their pets while they were on vacation to walk, feed, and administering their medication (both orally and injections) to their pets. I've taken animal CPR and have lots of experience with senior care with three senior dogs. I’m current attending college at CSULB but I am available in the mornings and evenings for drop in visits. For overnight or extended stays I am available Sunday-Saturday. I will care for them in your home and follow the instructions given to feed and drop in visits. If they are allowed outside, I will go outside with them and keep an eye on them both day and night. I will never let them outside on their own due to safety reasons. If discussed and allowed to housesit, I will keep your pets company for hours doing my quiet hobbies (Reading, drawing, etc.) since my pets tend to dislike being alone in the house for long periods of time.

About: I’m basically the friend who comes to your house and spends more time talking to your dog than to you. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know their individual little personalities, the weird habits, favorite spots, specific snack expectations, and all. I live in the desert and work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to actually hang out with your pet. Walks, playtime, lounging, adventures, or just having someone nearby while they nap, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’m comfortable with puppies and younger dogs who need consistency, exercise, and reinforcement of basic training, as well as senior pets who need a slower pace, patience, and a little extra TLC. I’m careful about doors, leashes, unfamiliar animals, food, and anything else that could become a safety issue. I also never force interaction with a nervous or unsure pet. I’d rather earn their trust on their timeline. My goal is pretty simple: you should feel completely comfortable leaving, and your pet should feel safe, relaxed, and very much at home while you’re gone.
