About: I am an experienced pet sitter and walker. I love dogs and cats and currently don’t have any of my own. I have dog sat for up to 5 weeks at a time, and regularly do week-long stints house and pet sitting. I enjoy the time outside, including long walks or visits to the dog park and am familiar with the pet-friendly trails, parks, and the walkable neighborhoods in the high desert. I have a pet-friendly house with a yard that can be fully fenced in when needed. I'm always respectful of other peoples properties and clean up after myself. I work from home and am able to take midday walks with pets or spend time with a dog or cat and make sure they are comfortable while I work from my computer. I have a comfortable home that is secure for pets. I have a yard, but it is not fully fenced so I take pets out for a walk on a leash in the neighborhood. There are nearby pet-friendly trails.
“Basia was a great pet sitter and I really appreciated her trekking out so far into the desert to keep my kitties fed and watered! She was always on time and kept me apprised of how my babies were doing”

“We were in Joshua Tree for a few days. LeeAnn was punctual, flexible with our changing schedule and, most importantly, was great with our shy dog. We appreciate her willingness to work with us!”

About: Hello! My name is Adeena! My real experience with animals started when my family adopted a German Shepherd who ended up being my childhood best friend. Ever since that introduction to how amazing dogs are, I knew I always wanted them in my life. Between school, work and moving often to explore new areas of this country, I haven’t had the time or stability my own dog would deserve. I came across Rover and knew it was the perfect solution! I have been active on it for years and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting each and every animal and owner. Seeing first hand the spoiled life of pets brings me pure happiness! I have experience ranging from newborn pups to senior dogs and everything in between. Cats and exotic animals such as reptiles and birds are also welcome! My mantra is “treat others how you’d want to be treated” and translating that to Rover means the care your pet(s) will receive will be like they’re my own. I live a very active lifestyle so if your pup is used to going on long walks/runs or hikes, I would love to take them along with me. I’m versatile enough though that if your pup prefers chill cuddles on the couch, I’m all for that too. Let’s just say - I love making animals happy! Hope to meet you soon! The weeks that you see me available mean I have off work and your pets will be number one and my routine will be based around their schedule. In your home: I can mimic the routine they are used to. Just fill me in! I’ll also have your home looking better than when you left it.
“Juliann was great! She kept my house in perfect shape and took such thoughtful care of my little rascal of a cat as well as allthe outdoor critters I feed. I came home to a happy pet and everything just as I left it. I felt totally at ease knowing she was here. Highly recommend!”

“Greg was great with two girls! (Cats) He was able to send me updates daily with pictures, even of my shy girl who hides(sleeps) under the covers. Will definitely being using him again.”

“Tom did an excellent job taking care of my cat and house while I was away. He sent me daily updates with pictures, which I really appreciated. I felt relaxed on my trip knowing he was there with my cat and giving her special attention. I returned home and my cat was her happy and sweet self. I highly recommend Tom for any of your pet sitting or house sitting needs.”

About: I've been taking care of animals for my entire life. Outside of having my own fur babies (two cats, and one dog), I have frequently cat/dog sat for friends, family, and neighbors! I have a deep love, and understanding for animals. I am ready to get to know your pets, and learn about their own unique characteristics and needs. I am able to provide feeding, grooming, exercise, quality time and any medical accommodations they may need. I'm currently taking some time off from my regular employment, so I have an abundance of free time to care for and spend quality time with your pets! I will utilize any instructions given, as well as my own intuition when it comes to the safety and well being of your pet. Whether we are at your home or playing at a park, your pet will be in very safe hands. I am also prepared to have active communication with you in regards to your pets, and how they are doing.
“April was absolutely wonderful for our sweet pets while we were away for a week. We knew we didn't have to worry about them at all while we were gone, which was such a relief. We'd highly recommend her!:)”
About: I love being with dogs! I have been a dog Mom for 35 years, and I run a nonprofit dog rescue. Through my extensive experience with dogs, I feel I understand the emotions, language and needs of pups. My joy is seeing dogs feel safe and cared for, and watching them thrive! I am good with dogs in all stages of life, especially senior pups. I am home with the dogs! Dog care and being with the dogs is my priority. Your dogs will have loving companionship and attention, to help them feel comfortable, relaxed and nurtured. My home is set up for the comfort of the pups! Dogs are allowed on all furniture and beds, for better snuggling. I have fenced yards made for the pups’ safety and security, and I own 28 surrounding acres of beautiful, pristine desert land, where pups can run, walk and play. There are no roads, traffic or passing cars. Dogs love the freedom of this exquisite area! I call it a Doggy Disneyland!
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 13. I’ve volunteered at no kill shelters and kennels for 5 years. I currently have two fur babies now (both rescues) and my mother always had about 8 in her home. I’ve taken care of dogs from tea cup to Great Danes. I also have cared for dogs with diabetes, who were blind, and have cerebral palsy. I work full time (Mon -Fri) in the lower dessert, live in JT. I’m home around 4/4:30pm each day. Of course your baby will be the first one that I see once I’m off of work and before I go into work. As a dedicated pet caregiver, I prioritize each animal's well-being and comfort while following your specific instructions. I ensure they receive regular feeding, fresh water, and ample exercise through walks or playtime. I’m attentive to their unique needs, whether it’s administering medication, maintaining a routine, or simply providing companionship. I also keep their environment clean and safe, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. Your pets are not just animals; they’re family, and I’ll treat them with the love and care they deserve!
