1. Jenny S.

“Jenny took such good care of our kitties! Our boys are pretty shy but they came around during her visits and had a meal, treats, and playtime. We were able to focus on visiting our family while on our trip and not worry about them. Thanks so much Jenny! We will reach out again the next time we leave town. Also - it was great to find someone who's specifically a cat lover : ) we love dogs too, but our dog wasn't going to be home so we wanted to find someone who focuses on cats. So glad we found Jenny!”

2. Elizabeth L.

“Elizabeth was really communicative during her drop in and proactive about finding out what things I'm working on with Baka in his training. It definitely helps me to feel confident leaving him in her hands! Thanks for your help!”

3. Caroline H.

“Caroline provided excellent care and even got pictures of my scaredy-cat looking like she came out of her hiding place to say hi! I would recommend Caroline to anyone in the area.”

4. Kaya H.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 13. I’ve volunteered at no kill shelters and kennels for 5 years. I currently have two fur babies now (both rescues) and my mother always had about 8 in her home. I’ve taken care of dogs from tea cup to Great Danes. I also have cared for dogs with diabetes, who were blind, and have cerebral palsy. I work full time (Mon -Fri) in the lower dessert, live in JT. I’m home around 4/4:30pm each day. Of course your baby will be the first one that I see once I’m off of work and before I go into work. As a dedicated pet caregiver, I prioritize each animal's well-being and comfort while following your specific instructions. I ensure they receive regular feeding, fresh water, and ample exercise through walks or playtime. I’m attentive to their unique needs, whether it’s administering medication, maintaining a routine, or simply providing companionship. I also keep their environment clean and safe, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. Your pets are not just animals; they’re family, and I’ll treat them with the love and care they deserve!

5. Lacey O.

“Lacey is awesome! Loves animals, has the perfect home to host dog loves, and is always super responsive. Very lucky to have her sit my dog love.”

6. Larissa O.

“Larissa was amazing! Truly the best pet sitter I could’ve asked for. She provided quality care, and I really loved the photos she sent me everyday of my kitty, Mango 🫶🏼🐱”

7. Shawna R.

“Shawna was wonderful with Athena and Athena can be a little difficult sometimes but Shawna did great with our kitty!! Will definitely use her again!”

8. Katie R.

“Katie is an awesome caretaker! She set up a meet and greet right away, and was kind and attentive to our two older dogs, one of whom is blind and needs extra assistance and love. We were super grateful she was able to accept our emergency request for drop-in visits, and we will certainly invite her back again next time we need a sitter. Thank you so much!”

9. Catherine M.
“Catherine is all around dog lover who truly cares for every dog like it's her own. She volunteers at the local shelter in her free time, always giving her best to the dogs there. Her own dog, Scooby, is the sweetest, and it’s clear that the love and care she gives him extends to every dog she meets. Whether it’s taking them for walks, playing, or just giving them attention, she makes sure every dog feels loved and cared for.”

10. Taurawa E.
“I can’t think of anyone better than Taura to care for my pets. Whether it’s walking a dog, feeding a cat and spending time with them while you’re away, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone as competent or compassionate. She’s a true dog whisperer and animals just naturally gravitate towards her because they have that sixth sense.”

11. Aurora C.

“Aurora is great! She sent picture and video updates of my senior dog while we were out of town. Her communication is top notch and she is very sweet with animals and people alike. 10 out of 10, I will be using her for all of our pet sitting needs and will be recommending her services to anyone in need! Thank you for providing such excellent care to my dog and easing all of my concerns.”

12. Maddy D.

“Maddy was excellent! She took amazing care of our elderly kitty including giving her lots of medicines and giving us detailed reports about our kitty. We are very grateful and would definitely hire her again.”

13. Dana P.

“Thank you!!! Excellent communication, took great care of our dogs. Highly recommend.”

14. Alexa R.
“I can’t say enough positive things about Alexa. Especially when it comes down to caring for my animals I am incredibly neurotic dog mom of two and cat mom of one. I am a costume designer for TV and I have to travel often for work. I was introduced to Alexa through another friend who has dogs and when I tell you that I think my dog started to love her more than me I am not kidding. Alexa is reliable punctual and so incredibly loving she is athletic and energetic. There’s no dog that can pull her down. She taught my dog how to skateboard and my cats had a walk on leashes. She showers them with love and affection. I even had her stay overnight for me a few times and though this is not part of the job description, I came home to a nicer house that I had left if you’re looking for someone to give your dog some exercise or come and check on them sit for you any of the above I would recommend Alexa beyond any other person that is on this app I have had a lot of different experiences on Rover nothing negative but I can’t stress how exemplary my experience with Alexa has been. I would trust her with my life and my animals. I hope you are lucky enough to get to meet this beautiful being! If your doggie wants some fun there’s no one better.”

16. Melanie M.
“Melanie is one of the most thoughtful and caring individuals I know. She is a true pet-lover who not only owns multiple pampered pets herself but also consistently goes above and beyond to ensure their well-being. Melanie is the kind of person who will treat your pet as if they were her own, showering them with the same love and attention. Highly recommend!”

17. Felice W.
About: I have loved dogs since I was very young. An anxious animal seems to sense this and I will always win them over. When they are in my care they are safe and happy. We play in my big yard, go for a daily walk, and the crate is only used for bedtime. There will be lots of cuddles and treats too. I’m flexible with drop off and pick up times as well. I’m available anytime unless I am off the calendar. We are up around 6:30-7:00 a.m. when we have a pet here. I walk every day and love having a dog or two to come along. They are feee to use my house and I only crate for sleeping. If only one dog is here I often allow him or her to sleep in my room. While I do have a big fenced yard, I don’t leave dogs unattended outdoors out of an abundance of caution.

18. Layla T.

“Layla did a great job with our bunnies, giving them love and filling all their needs while we were gone. She had good communication as well!”

19. Alaina T.
About: Hi! 👋🏼 I’m Alaina. I have extensive experience in pet sitting both small and big dogs and enjoy taking pups on walks/hikes. I provide a calming presence for dogs with a lot of energy or separation anxiety — & even the most timid pups have warmed up to me rather quickly. I approach each responsibility from walks to feeding routines with utmost care & compassion. And I will always send photo updates of your furry friend(s) while you’re away :) I’m a freelancer who works remote so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for pet sitting / walking. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s daily routines and stick to the schedule that they are used to. I have been a sitter on and off for many years, mostly whenever family and friends needed me but recently decided to extend my services to a larger network of people through Trusted Housesitters and Rover. I currently have a 5 star rating on TH as I provide exceptional house / pet sitting services. I am committed to open communication, providing regular updates, and addressing any concerns promptly. I treat every pup like they’re my own (and sometimes I even get a little attached 🥲)
