About: I've had dogs around me for most of my life. When I was younger, we had several dogs in the house, all Gordon Setters. My father loved the outdoors, and loved to take them camping with us. I've had Melvin, my senior Dachshund, for 14 years now. Melvin gets along with everyone. I have a fenced in backyard where your dog can run and play. They will have access to both indoors and outdoors at all times. I will be present with them at all times. If your dog requires any special care, please just ask. I can accommodate many requests. I offer 24 hour pick up and drop off for all boarding and doggie daycare services. As an avid traveler, blogger, and photographer, I am well aware that unique lifestyles often come with unconventional schedules. Whatever your plans are while visiting Joshua Tree, I can accommodate you. I currently work full-time remote so I am always home and available for boarding and daycare. You can book for just a few hours or several days at a time. I have a fenced in backyard and one very chill senior Dachshund in the home. I will always be present in the home to ensure your dog is safe and having a good time.

“Heidi was able to do a meet and greet which was super helpful and relaxed me in my trip away from my animal companions. The photos helped and it was easy to book with her. I did feel concerned upon my return that there was no water left for my dog in any of the bowls and that the water fountain was not refilled to its maximum capacity for my cat for it to function properly. Perhaps a bit more communication around this would help, but overall the pets seemed in good hands.”

I provide a calming presence for dogs with a lot of energy or separation anxiety — & even the most timid pups have warmed up to me rather quickly. And I will always send photo updates of your furry friend(s) while you’re away :) I’m a freelancer who works remote so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for pet sitting / walking. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s daily routines and stick to the schedule that they are used to. I have been a sitter on and off for many years, mostly whenever family and friends needed me but recently decided to extend my services to a larger network of people through Trusted Housesitters and Rover. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and love to see all the diversity, personalities, and uniqueness of different breeds. I have a 12 year old Staffordshire Terrier Mix and a 1 year old Sheepadoodle. So whether your dog likes to lounge around or is high energy, they will fit right in. I work full time so can only do boarding on weekends with some exemptions if you don’t mind your dog being crated during the day. Our dogs love to go on walks so we go everyday after work. I have a big fenced in yard so plenty of space to run around and play. I have extra crates as well if you prefer your dog to be crated. We also live within walking distance of a great dog park if your dog is friendly with others and you are okay with them going.

About: As a former special education teacher, I was throughly vetted and trusted with some of our societies most vulnerable members. I bring patiences, calm and structure that's been cultivated during my 22 years teaching. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to take this year off and spend it with your fur babies! I'm currently taking a sabbatical! I can't think of a better way to spend it than with animals. Currently living the good life! My days and schedules are devoted to pet care! I have a fully fenced yard. An extra large crate if needed. We also have a gazebo for outdoor puppy naps and two dog water fountains. My puppy is by far the most welcoming and loving little guy, he loves to meet new friends with kisses and toys!

Your fur babies are in caring hands, receiving the same affection and attention my own dogs enjoy. i work 9am-3pm at a preschool , 5 out of 7 days of the week but, am always open for any day of the week :) i always walk my dogs with harness on so they can’t break loose easily and if i’m dog sitting i always go outside with them for potty break and i love playing with them!
