About: I have worked the last 25 years working in the medical field. Part of my job was providing pet therapy visits to hospice patients both in the private home and assisted living facilities. My Corgi named Pepe and I did team training and became certified through Love on a Leash. I have decided that I would like to help others with their dog and cat needs rather than getting another dog at this time. I am currently retired and am very flexible with my weekly schedule. I am available as a one-time sitter visit or a repeated weekly if preferred. Feel free to ask me if I am available before 11am or after 3pm for a drop in visitor for a dog walk or cat drop in visit. It's my goal to try my best to meet your schedule needs. I just don't do night dog walks or drop in visits. I understand the importance of making sure an animal feels comfortable with me and allowing it to approach me. I will always use a leash when walking a pet outside for their safety. I currently have a disabled, indoor cat. I make sure that her litter box is scooped daily and that her needs are a priority. I make sure she has fresh water and food, treats daily. About: I grew up in a home that adopted cats & dogs and was the prime caregiver since animal's lives and happiness are close my heart. I believe in SPOILING them, not giving them all of the treats, but in giving them tons of attention and activity. Zonking them out at night so they have the best night's sleep. I love all dogs, tiny to giants and long-haired too. I laugh at zoomies. My animal voice disarms them quickly so even the most nervous cats or dogs warm up to me in time. I respect boundaries and listen/watch body language so that neither of us are uncomfortable. I love to go on walks with them, letting them smell every flower along the way. I love playing tug of war or chasing each other or throwing a ball for hours. They are such special little beings and deserve the best care. If they like walks, I go on one daily for about an hour. If I need to, I can split that walk in two, no worries. Spending time with them at a dog park. Crate preferred for when I am gone, but if your dog is kind to plants and furniture, free-range is okay. Big grassy area along the edge of condos. Entry to my condo does not require stairs. In Palm Springs I live with my sister in a one story quiet duplex.

I absolutely love all animals and currently going to school for psychology to hopefully work with animals more in the future.
