A typical day
Brain games can be as effective in burning off energy in both dogs and cats. Challenging a dog by teaching it new games and tricks can be fun and exciting to dogs. A good, long walk works, too. Finding fun way for cats to express their inner hunter is very effective in reducing boredom from being alone.

As the former Education Director at a local No-Kill Animal Shelter, I met with pets and animal lovers all over the Coachella Valley, providing training in effective, but compassionate pet handling. I have worked with all types of animals, and I love and respect them all, but I have a deep love of timid and fearful dogs. It’s very gratifying working with frightened animals and helping them to develop their confidence. I also have expertise in special needs pets, including elderly pets, pets with fear issues and post-surgery pets.
