About: For 29 years that I have my own dogs, I am ready to take care of dogs other than my own. I am a retired Pharma low level exec. I am mostly at home, and if I do step out of the house, I am usually not away for more than 3 hours because of my dogs. My dogs sleep with me in bed, and so are the pets that I will be caring, if that is your preference. At the moment, I would only accept male neutered dogs. Apart from my Sunday morning, Monday afternoon coffee group and Friday breakfast group, I am mostly at home to look after and play with your dogs. My house is clean, well maintained with a secured wall fence. For safety reasons, the dogs are not allowed to roam around the yard without me being outside as I have a pool and potential air predators. My house is equipped with automatic fire sprinklers.
About: I am a stay at home mom who recently had both children go to school full time, freeing up my schedule, with that I have so much extra time and love to give to your animals. I've had both dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have two pets, one dog, Arya and one cat, Calcifer. Arya is a senior dog so I am fully capable of taking care of pets at all stages of life. I am currently a stay at home mom to two little boys that are in school full time. I would be able to take care of your animals while my kids are at school. I will also be able to come over in the evenings before bed to take care of any animals needs. I have two animals, a cat and a dog. I am fully capable of cleaning out litter boxes, feeding and making the cats have access to water. My dog is 11 years old, with a senior dog as a pet, I understand the extra care that some animals need.
About: Hi!, my name is Justin and I've been taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I can remember, as such I'm very excited to get to work with and for all our four-legged friends! As mentioned above my core values include being energetic, adaptable and patient, and through these values you and your pet(s) can expect discreet professional level service at anytime you need me. Hope to meet you soon! - Justin Despite currently job-hunting at this time, my schedule is completely wide open for all your petcare and play needs, and even after when I find a position I'll be sure to keep your pets a priority in my schedule. I currently live with my sisters' 2 Labradoodles, and as such each day it's my duty to make sure they're let outside between 7:30-8am, given a Greenie dog brush treat when they return, have a clean, full water dish with clean filters, are generally behaved and not causing damage to anything (rip Birkenstocks, you'll be missed), played with, are fed between 5-7pm, and let outside throughout the day until last call at 10pm. Regarding house sitting, my bounds all depend on the dog(s) themselves as well as your personal preferences. If they have seperation anxiety, need attention 24/7 due to medical reasons or just want someone to play with, then I have no issue staying all days and/or nights for them, but if they need only to be checked on routinely then I would be absent from the home so as to value your privacy. At the time of writing this I have no scheduling issues with staying overnight during house sitting calls, but if you only need check-ins then I can check in as many times as necessary.
About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my ability to cater to pets of all ages and needs, including providing patient care for senior pets and gentle, consistent training for puppies. I also have a keen eye for recognizing changes in behavior or health, ensuring your pet’s well-being is always my top priority. I’m a coach during the middle of the day, but mornings and nights i’m available. I’m also usually completely open on weekends. I can adjust to your schedule as needed. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play and relax, along with a consistent routine to ensure comfort and stability. In a client’s home, I follow their specific care instructions closely, maintaining the pet’s usual schedule for feeding, exercise, and attention, so they feel secure and stress-free in their familiar surroundings.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for years. As a matter of fact that was my first job, a cat sitter. I currently have 2 rescue pups. One senior and one almost 2yr old. My soul dog crossed the rainbow bridge last year and since I’ve fostered puppies and cared for multiple dogs. I’ve trained my pups every time and would love to care for yours while you’re away. I don’t mind sending pics and communicating throughout to keep you comfortable that your pet is happy and taken care of. Right now I am taking time away from work and would love to make some extra money while watching your lovely fur babies and give you some peace of mind during your time away from home. I will gladly keep your pets company, play with them, feed them and make sure they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. Walks, belly rubs, or just company while they’re missing you so they know they are still taken care of. Will send you pictures or texts to give you peace of mind and if you’d like will give them a bath so they smell amazing once you get home (unless that’s not your preference).
“I highly recommend Jon. He's very responsive to communication and good with my pets. He's responsible and showed up when he said he would. I'm so glad he was available both times we've needed a dog watcher. We very much appreciate him!!”

“Don has been great with our 2 dogs. He has boarded them several times and lately has been dropping by our house for a couple hours when we’re out for many hours and taking the dogs for walks, swims, playtime and doing some training!”

“Ashurina did a wonderful job watching our pups, allowing us to get out and play some golf. We have a high-energy puppy, who is shy with people and a 15 year-old dog who is slowing down a bit. Ashurina played with our kids and made sure they got their potty breaks and treats. We rebooked her last minute for an additional drop-in visit. Highly recommended.”

“Angelica is very reliable and quick to respond. She was available last minute. It’s wonderful to have someone that we can trust. She is very sweet with our two rescue dogs 💕”

“Mona was an angel. We have an 18-year-old almost fully blind dog who is never left alone and we were terrified about leaving him with someone we didn’t know.. Mona came to our hotel and spent three days taking care of Ziggy while we were out having fun and relaxing. From the moment she walked in the room we knew she’d be a great fit.. She’s very responsible, kind, caring and attentive.. She took pictures and made sure to keep in contact with us throughout the day at our request. When it came time OK for her to leave Ziggy tried to follow her out!!! we will definitely be using her again and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter. Mona, we thank you so very much. You’re amazing.!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Thousand Palms
I met Megan for the meet and greet for her to drop in to check on my cat while we were out of town for a few days and I immediately trusted her. I appreciate her excellent communication and as a bonus she took great photos of my cat which made me feel even more at ease. She was super helpful and followed all care requests perfectly. I will definitely be rebooking!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
