“Katie is wonderful and treated our dogs Molly & Griffin awesome. I was thinking that the two of them were not going to want to come home with us when we picked them up. Thank you Katie for the care and the sharing of photos of them while we were traveling. Katie is highly recommend from us and our two pups.”

“Geri was the best! Don't be fooled by her stern-looking profile photo; she is anything but! Super stylish and kind, with a huge heart. Our Roxy was very happy with her stay with Geri, and her home is beautiful, and every detail was accounted for in making it super doggy friendly. Her lil pup is also very sweet and got along very well with our picky, not-usually-a-dog-person dog, Roxy, which says a lot. Anyway, look no further, we highly recommend choosing Geri for your doggy needs!!”

“Araceli was very responsive to our messages and sent updates that included videos and pictures of our pups. She took very good care of them. They had a wonderful time and came home exhausted.”

“Brandon is a total gem! He and Billy are both so kind and caring. My two pups took to them immediately and had a wonderful time. Brandon is a great communicator and provided timely updates. I had a little mix-up with my dates, and Brandon was so flexible and accommodating with the change. I can't recommend them enough and my two pups can't wait to stay with them again.”

“kevin was very attentive and wanted to make sure he kept our pups’ routine the same. he was patient with our nervous pup. his pups were excellent with our dogs too. he is very responsive. would book with kevin again!”

“Beau was very well taken care of and living his best life with Alan & Joe. I could tell how comfortable he was in their care, always running towards them and completely at ease. Thank you for giving Beau such a warm, loving environment!!”

“great communication, clear direction to the address. take Morris out to the park, sent me pictures. keep me updated. thank you, very professional, enjoy doing business with you and Morris love her stay.”

“Most excellent. Cubsy enjoyed his stay with Matt and Steve. Cubsy is a very social boy and loved having 2 or 3 other dogs to play with while we were gone. He came home tired. A very good sign. Matt provided updates. I also like that they put a tracker on Cubsy during his stay in the unlikely event he got loose. Both Matt and Steve are at home most days so no lack of companionship or supervision.”

“Great experience for us and our 2 standard poodles. Sierra has a great set up for the dogs and is really tuned in to various dog personalities. Our female can be reticent with new people but after a bit she warmed up to Sierra for sure. Would definitely book again!”

“Maggie took care of Frankie, our 1 year old AusieDoodle for a month. There were many trips to the dog park, and many playmates as well when Maggie took care of other dogs. Maggie even took her for a trim and bath at our request. Frankie came back to us healthy and happy. We are very pleased with the care Maggie gave Frankie and highly recommend Maggie to anyone who needs dog sitting services in the area.”

“Lynn was fabulous! Our Sugar Baby came home from a week stay with a wonderful disposition. No stress at all. That’s the best compliment anyone can give a caregiver. Thanks, Lynn!”

“Dropped my dog off for the week for a Disney trip I was last minute but they were able to accommodate him still they were great with him and made sure he had plenty of time to play and hangout with the other dogs and kids and made sure to send pictures and keep me updated on the trip. I 1000% recommend them for any trips as they truly know how to take care of your pet like it’s there own.”

“Michael was great on all counts…communications, responsiveness, photo updates…all of it. And Louie seemed to enjoy his time at his new Rover, found because we moved. We already have a week long stay booked and are thrilled that we will feel better about our travel knowing Louie is in good hands.”

“We were so relieved to have found Joy. She was able to accommodate us last minute. Joy Took care of our five-month old puppy for a few hours while we were visiting the desert. Our puppy had just been attacked by a dog the week prior and still had stitches from where his eye was removed. She loved him and took photos of him the entire time for us. As very overprotective parents and nervous about his medical complications, we instantly were put at ease when we met her. Cannot say enough good things about Joy.”

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
