Kyla has been great with our two dogs for walks during the week while we are at work. She is friendly and the dogs love her. She always gives notice if she has to change the schedule and has been understanding when we have a change.

About: I grew up on a farm in England with working dogs, which gave me a love for animals and led me to a life working professionally with them. After 32 years of running my own pet care business in Los Angeles, I relocated to the Coachella Valley where I continue to walk, exercise, and socialize dogs, while also working as a dog trainer. I'm available Monday thru Friday from 7am until 5pm, so we can work out walks and visits depending on your schedule and your dog's needs. Your dog will always be walked on leash, with the exception of fenced dog parks. Dogs can be crated during transport, if that makes them more comfortable. With my many years of experience, I know exactly how to work with dogs with a focus on the safety, calm, and happiness of the animal.

This was our first time using Rover, and therefore our first time having Jon walk our dog. We asked Jon to come by each day at 7, as it gets pretty hot here in the desert quite early in the morning. Sammi is used to hour long walks as well. We can say Jon did not disappoint! He was at our house every morning at 7 on the nose and gave our Sammi a full hour walk each day. They walked a mile plus on each journey and Sammi looked forward to seeing him every day. Could not have asked for a better experience!

JoAnn is terrific! She is a 100% dog person. Thinks ahead several steps at all times. Phoebe crawled up her leg and into her arms the very first moment they met which JoAnn took with great humor. She is super punctual and incidentally is also a very fun person.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. We had three growing up as a child, all different breeds. Even though my mom had a cat allergy, I have still enjoyed being around my friend’s cats. I raised a Yorkie of my own, Ace, from a puppy. I recently lost him in January after 14 years. I promised him that I would continue to share my love of animals to those in need. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet(s) as if they were my own. I have a very flexible schedule which allows me a lot of freedom to accommodate your booking requests. Let me know what you need and I will do my best to fulfill your pet care needs. I’ve always wanted my pets to feel comfortable and safe and I understand how important and careful selecting a pet care provider can be. I am great at adapting to the environment in which you and your pet feel most at home. I will treat your pet and space with the upmost respect as I would hope one would do for me.

About: Hi there! I’m very observant and caring with pets. I have a lot of experience in senior care. My own dog, who passed in 2024, lived to 15 years old and was blind and diabetic. Because of him, I’m comfortable with special care needs. I am a full time nursing student at College of The Desert. I provide dog sitting services on a part time basis during the semester, which runs from 1/26/26-5/22/26. Unfortunately my home does not allow pets so I can only sit in the pets/your home! I am excited to meet your fur baby and give them all my love, care and attention! I like to send a lot of photos and videos because your comfort is my comfort (Unless you ask me not to!) One thing that really helps things go smoothly is a detailed schedule & notes (written or typed) for your pet if they have any. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to keep your pup safe and happy.

where to begin with faith. first of all, our dogs latched on to her the moment she over—they rarely do that but they did! great sign when they prefer her over us. anyhow, very communicative, very personable, and always on-time. i needed one day for her services but after day 1, i decided to book her two more times—she’s that good with the dogs. highly recommend and i found myself a caretaker for our beasties during our stays here in the desert. thank you faith! such a gem to have found you here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

About: I have recently retired and now have plenty of time to pursue a passion I have always had of taking care of and being with animals. I always had a multitude of animals since I was a child. There were always rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, cats, dogs around as I was growing up. I've always had at least one dog as a companion throughout adulthood. I currently have the cutest little chihuahua named Bailey who is 9 pounds, 10 years old I got her as a two-year-old from the shelter. I have also had a Great Dane. I enjoy dogs of all sizes. I am retired so am available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, weekly from 9:00 a.m. to 7p.m. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New year's, most holidays I am available. I am extremely responsible and will always walk a dog on leash. I will always pick up after them. Currently, my services are for dog walking, and or check-ins to play with or feed your dog and your home.

About: My experience with dogs is Taking care of them involves much more than just feeding and walking; it’s about forging a deep, trusting bond with each individual form small to big.I previously worked at PetSmart, where I gained hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals including cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, and small pets. That role helped me develop strong skills in animal handling, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring health and behavior. Now, I work at an animal shelter where I primarily care for many cats and dogs. My responsibilities include ensuring they are fed, exercised, kept in a clean and safe environment, and shown compassion while they wait for adoption. This experience has strengthened my dedication to animal welfare and expanded my ability to provide care for animals in need. I’m currently in college working on becoming a vet one day, I love animals since I was kid so I always enjoy spending time with animals. I have 3 friendly dogs form small to big with so much space around to play and have fun they are always taken care of always feed and behaved well

About: I specialize in overnight care for pets whose families value consistency, companionship, and careful attention to their unique needs. Calm, experienced sitter offering overnight care, drop-ins, and dog walking throughout Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, and nearby areas - known for keeping pets happy, comfortable, and relaxed while you are away. I've been trusted by clients and friends to watch over their pets for years. I bring a quiet, calm energy to every home I enter, treating each pet with the love and care they deserve. What sets me apart: Overnight Specialist: Many sitters offer boarding, but I focus on keeping pets in their own home - where they are most comfortable and stress-free. Attentive and Gentle: I notice the little things - changes in mood, behavior, or comfort - and respond with patience and care. Clear Communication: Daily updates with notes and photos so you always feel connected Structure and Reliability: As a competitive figure skater and dance instructor, I balance a disciplined routine with the flexible care your pets deserve. I intentionally take on a limited number of bookings so that I can provide each pet with focused, attentive care, rather than rushing between homes. I balance pet care with part-time dance instruction and figure skating. On occasional mornings, I train during a 6 AM skating session. When this occurs, pets are fed, let out, and settled before I leave. I return by 7:30 AM to continue their routine, keeping them safe, happy, and at ease in their own home. Like most sitters, I may need to step out again later, but your pets will always have full overnight companionship and reliable daytime care. I'm reliable, gentle, and attentive. While you're away, I'll make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for right in their own home - especially through the night, when companionship matters the most. You'll receive regular updates and photos to ensure you have peace of mind. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I'll contact you right away. If I can't reach you, I'll get in touch with your emergency contact. Then I'll take your pet to your veterinarian or the emergency clinic. I'll stay calm, act quickly, and keep you informed every step of the way.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember—family dogs, my own dogs, always under the same roof. Since my dog Tesla passed, this is the longest stretch of my life I’ve gone without a dog in my home, and it’s reminded me just how important dogs are to me. Caring for them truly feels natural and grounding, not like “work.” I work from home, which means your dog will have plenty of attention throughout the day—not long stretches alone. I’m present, attentive, and happy to adjust to each dog’s personality, routine, and needs. I live in a safe, gated, and very pet-friendly community about 10 minutes from the airport, which many clients find convenient for travel days. While I don’t have a traditional yard, I do have two open-air patios that are fully fenced around the perimeter. There's plenty of secure outdoor space with grass areas, walking room, and plenty of space for dogs to relax and explore safely. I always encourage a meet-and-greet before a dog’s first overnight stay so everyone—both humans and canines—feels comfortable. That said, I trust pet parents’ judgment and don’t make it an absolute requirement if schedules don’t allow. I’m happy to send photos and updates during your pet’s stay if you’d like—some owners love frequent check-ins, while others prefer to fully enjoy their trip. I’m comfortable either way and will follow your preference. If any medical issues were to arise, the veterinarian Rover uses for emergencies (VCA) is about 1.5 miles from my home, which offers added peace of mind. My goal is to create a calm, loving, and safe environment where your dog feels comfortable, cared for, and right at home while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pup 🐾 I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Because I’m home throughout the day, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship—without long periods of pets being left alone. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to adapt to your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, whether that means morning walks, midday check-ins, evening wind-down time, or medication schedules if needed. Since I’m not commuting or away for long stretches, I’m able to be present, attentive, and responsive to each pet’s needs, making this a calm and low-stress environment—especially for dogs who appreciate human company. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, attentive, and loving environment where dogs are supervised, respected, and cared for as individuals. In my home, pets are never left unsupervised outdoors. While I don’t have a traditional yard, I do have two open-air patios that are fully fenced around the entire perimeter, providing secure outdoor space for fresh air, lounging, and movement. I live in a gated, very pet-friendly community that’s ideal for safe walks and outdoor time. Because I work from home, I’m present throughout the day and able to monitor behavior, energy levels, and any changes that might need attention. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, walk preferences, sleep habits, and medication instructions if applicable. I always encourage a meet-and-greet before a first overnight stay so both pets and humans feel comfortable and confident, though I trust pet parents’ judgment if that isn’t possible. I’m happy to provide photo and text updates during your pet’s stay if you’d like, and I communicate clearly and promptly if anything comes up. In the unlikely event of an emergency, the veterinarian Rover partners with (VCA) is approximately 1.5 miles from my home, allowing for quick access to care. Whether in my home or yours, I aim to create a safe, predictable, and loving environment so your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home while you’re away.
