I am also a proud pet parent of wonderful rescue dogs and have fostered over 14 dogs and cats. I am able to care for pets no matter their age and am comfortable administering medication, if necessary. I always provide TLC. Pet care is my passion and career! I am available 7 days a week and am flexible to the needs of the animal and pet parent. I do not, at this time, have clients’ pets stay at my home. Should this change, I will revise on on Rover. I am extremely kind, loving, and trustworthy. I always give 150% to caring for your furry loved ones!🐾😸🐕🐩🐠🐓🦜🐸🐶🐹🐔🐰🐾

About: Hi there! I’m very observant and caring with pets. I have a lot of experience in senior care. My own dog, who passed in 2024, lived to 15 years old, was blind and diabetic. Because of him, I’m comfortable with special care needs. I am a full time nursing student at College of The Desert. My availability/calendar on Rover is always updated and accurate. I provide dog sitting services on a part time basis during the semester, which runs from 1/26/26-5/22/26. Unfortunately my home does not allow pets so I can only sit in the pets/your home! I am excited to meet your fur baby and give them all my love, care and attention! I like to send a lot of photos and videos because your comfort is my comfort (Unless you ask me not to!) One thing that really helps things go smoothly is a detailed schedule & notes (written or typed) for your pet if they have any. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to keep your pup safe and happy.
About: I got my first pet when I was six years old. Since then, I have been taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and fish for over 15 years. My friends, family, and neighbors rely on me to feed their pets, take them on walks, bathe them and even trim their nails, if needed. I love all pets and enjoy taking care of them as if they were my own. I can fit your schedule anytime with a week’s notice. For walks, mornings are more favorable due to weather conditions. For emergency care, one day advance would be preferred. I have a fenced yard where your dogs can play outside on the grass or they can enjoy indoor play with cool A/C. They’ll have their own room or they can be crated if needed.

About: I grew up on a farm in England with working dogs, which gave me a love for animals and led me to a life working professionally with them. After 32 years of running my own pet care business in Los Angeles, I relocated to the Coachella Valley where I continue to walk, exercise, and socialize dogs, while also working as a dog trainer. I'm available Monday thru Friday from 7am until 5pm, so we can work out walks and visits depending on your schedule and your dog's needs. Your dog will always be walked on leash, with the exception of fenced dog parks. Dogs can be crated during transport, if that makes them more comfortable. With my many years of experience, I know exactly how to work with dogs with a focus on the safety, calm, and happiness of the animal.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with 10 years of experience caring for family pets. I've grown up with dogs & cats and have always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality and understand that some pups need a little extra time and patience to feel comfortable. ❤️ I also have a senior dog with a heart condition (my soul pup), so I'm experienced with medications, special care instructions, and keeping pets on a consistent schedule. 💊⏰ Whether your pet needs a potty break, meal, playtime, medication, or just some companionship, I'll treat them like one of my own. 🐶🐱 I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I prioritize communication and send detailed updates with photos after every visit! 📸 I work from home full-time, which gives me flexibility to accommodate many scheduling needs throughout the day. I'm typically available before work, during my lunch hour, after work in the evenings, some weekends and holidays. If your pet needs a quick check-in during the day, I can often adjust my schedule to help. I primarily serve pets within a 15–25 minute drive of my area so I can provide reliable and timely care. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Since I provide care in clients' homes, I make every effort to maintain your pet's normal routine and follow your instructions closely. I'm experienced with puppies, senior dogs, feeding schedules, oral medications, and eye/ear medications. I understand how important consistency is, especially for pets with special care needs.
About: I’m a former dog groomer with hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. Over the years I’ve learned how to read canine body language closely and prioritize safety, calm handling, and trust-building with every dog I care for. I’m especially experienced with large breeds, high-energy dogs, senior dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs that may be reactive, anxious, or slow to warm up. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, structure, and strong situational awareness during walks, introductions, and everyday care. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or prefers a calm and gentle approach, I tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable, attentive, and communicative, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship while making each pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I currently do not offer boarding services at my home. But I will be more than happy to watch your furry babies at your home =)

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hidden Palms
My dog Freya can be a bit timid around strangers but was quick to trust Maggie’s calm and patient energy during their initial meet and greet; she is definitely someone who understands dogs. My cat seemed to really enjoy her company as well! Maggie was flexible and easy to work with. It’s very reassuring to find a good dog walker, especially in a new city so thanks again, Maggie!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
