About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals, and caring for pets genuinely makes me happy. I have 8 years of dog experience and 9 years of cat experience, including puppy training, pet sitting, walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight care for family, friends, and neighbors. I always strive to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I recently graduated from Santa Clara University, so I currently have a very flexible schedule and lots of free time to spend with furry friends! I’m a very active, organized, and reliable person who loves early mornings, walks, and being around animals. In my free time, I often take my family dog on walks and enjoy spending time outdoors. I’m available throughout the week and weekends and would love to help care for your pets like they’re my own. I provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. My home is very spacious, organized, and pet-friendly, and I currently do not have any pets living at home. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone, and I strive to make both pets and owners feel completely comfortable and confident in my care.
“Faith was great. She was available on short notice and my kiddos didn’t even bark at her in spite of the face mask she was wearing! Dexter enjoyed his walk very much and slept very well last night.?”

“Sarah was great with our dogs! She was very patient getting them to warm up to her and took one for an extra long walk to give more time for them to do their business. Highly recommend, would book her again”

About: Hey there, fellow pet lover! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve got three goofy, lovable dogs at home who keep me on my toes, and over the years, my friends and family have trusted me to look after their furry companions too, because they know I treat every pet like my own! Whether it’s belly rubs, playtime, walks, or sticking to a special routine, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and totally spoiled while you’re away. My goal? To give you peace of mind and your pet a paws-itively awesome time! My Mondays are fully available, Tuesdays from 6p-8p I am not, as I volunteer at the Horse Rescue. Throughout the week may be flexible depending on the time of your needs. I have some pretty particular pups of my own, so I totally understand how important it is to follow each pet parent’s rules and routines closely!
About: I grew up on a farm in England with working dogs, which gave me a love for animals and led me to a life working professionally with them. After 32 years of running my own pet care business in Los Angeles, I relocated to the Coachella Valley where I continue to walk, exercise, and socialize dogs, while also working as a dog trainer. I'm available Monday thru Friday from 7am until 5pm, so we can work out walks and visits depending on your schedule and your dog's needs. Your dog will always be walked on leash, with the exception of fenced dog parks. Dogs can be crated during transport, if that makes them more comfortable. With my many years of experience, I know exactly how to work with dogs with a focus on the safety, calm, and happiness of the animal.
About: All my pets are rescued off the streets and I rescued 2 of my husky from being put to death by a shelter. I rescued 1 husky from the park wandering with no direction. My work schedule is from 4 pm to midnight. Off Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I usually take my huskies on my morning walks around 8 am. Then let them play in my backyard. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly husky to keep your beloved pet company, and entertain and to play with. I have a pet crate if needed
“The best! Shayna knows how to listen to my instruction & cautions then cares for my Frenchie genuinely-she communicates along the way to keep my worry & anxiety down. I feel so lucky to have her! She is a sweet, kind person & I highly recommend her”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and attention I give every pet in my care. As a dedicated dog mom myself, I understand how important it is to have someone patient, reliable, and truly attentive watching over your fur baby. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or extended care, I intentionally plan my week to make sure every pet in my care receives dependable attention, patience, and love. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and household instructions carefully so pets feel secure in their familiar space. I also keep homes tidy and respect each client’s preferences and boundaries.
“Excellent! Mara is the real dog whisperer! And we’re so happy too with excellent communications, punctuality, and true interest in our pup’s welfare. Based on her observation, we made our subsequent appointments for Bearie’s walks to much earlier in the day due to harsh heat we’re having. We appreciate these concerns which speaks to “what’s best for Bearie” is Mara’s operative concern. Good job Miss Mara!”

She is estimated to be 13 years young. I will care for your fur-baby like my own. I am a yoga teacher with varying work hours but I’m never out of the house for more than couple of hours. About: With over 10 years of experience owning and operating a grooming and boarding facility in Houston, Texas, I bring professional, hands-on expertise to every dog I care for. As a devoted dog owner myself (four fur-kids and counting), I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs—including administering medication, handling anxious or difficult dogs, and, of course, managing the occasional mess with patience and care. I pride myself on being reliable, punctual, and attentive, but most importantly, I genuinely love dogs—and they know it. When you’re done booking, be sure to tell your dog I said hi. About: I’m a former dog groomer with hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. Over the years I’ve learned how to read canine body language closely and prioritize safety, calm handling, and trust-building with every dog I care for. I’m especially experienced with large breeds, high-energy dogs, senior dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs that may be reactive, anxious, or slow to warm up. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, structure, and strong situational awareness during walks, introductions, and everyday care. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or prefers a calm and gentle approach, I tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable, attentive, and communicative, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently do not work a traditional 9–5 schedule, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive and consistent pet care throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship while making each pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I currently do not offer boarding services at my home. But I will be more than happy to watch your furry babies at your home =)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
