“So glad we found Jackson. His home and family are perfect for our dog and Jackson is so responsive, kind and flexible (we had two daycare sit days back to back). The best sign?: Our dog was sooooooo excited to go back the second day.”

About: I got my first pet when I was six years old. Since then, I have been taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and fish for over 15 years. My friends, family, and neighbors rely on me to feed their pets, take them on walks, bathe them and even trim their nails, if needed. I love all pets and enjoy taking care of them as if they were my own. I can fit your schedule anytime with a week’s notice. For walks, mornings are more favorable due to weather conditions. For emergency care, one day advance would be preferred. I have a fenced yard where your dogs can play outside on the grass or they can enjoy indoor play with cool A/C. They’ll have their own room or they can be crated if needed.
About: My experience with dogs is Taking care of them involves much more than just feeding and walking; it’s about forging a deep, trusting bond with each individual form small to big.I previously worked at PetSmart, where I gained hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals including cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, and small pets. That role helped me develop strong skills in animal handling, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring health and behavior. Now, I work at an animal shelter where I primarily care for many cats and dogs. My responsibilities include ensuring they are fed, exercised, kept in a clean and safe environment, and shown compassion while they wait for adoption. This experience has strengthened my dedication to animal welfare and expanded my ability to provide care for animals in need. I’m currently in college working on becoming a vet one day, I love animals since I was kid so I always enjoy spending time with animals. I have 3 friendly dogs form small to big with so much space around to play and have fun they are always taken care of always feed and behaved well

“Jo was awesome! She arrived early to meet Vaughan. She took great care of our four legged. She sent great pictures so we could see how well Vaughan was doing. When we arrived home, Vaughan was a happy camper and was curled up on Jo's lap. We already booked another date. Thanks Jo.”

“Thank you for watching Nala! It’s tough leaving our old pup with strangers but she seemed very comfortable with Geraldine for the time being. Her place was a fun little getaway for our pup as well as it had big open yards and turf.”

“Ken and his partner took care of our boy "Cooper" on a recent trip to Palm Springs. They are very caring and responsive, and we felt good leaving our boy with them. I recommend Ken if you need dog siting services in the Palm Springs area.”

“Jill is an awesome dog sitter and great person! Our golden retriever pup loves staying with her, so my husband and I get time to go out and play golf! Hard to get our dog to leave her house at the end of the day. Jill is gentle with our dog , who loves to play and cuddle with Jill. I would highly recommend Jill to care for you per!❤️ She is a gem.”

“Victoria was amazing with my dog! Super communicative, she even sent cute photo updates throughout the day. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again for doggie daycare! :)”

“Amy is awesome. We have a 13 week old puppy that had never been boarded previously and did not have all of his vaccinations. Teddy, the Teacup Maltipoo had quickly worked his way into our hearts and we were very concerned about boarding him any place where there wasn't constant supervision. We were going to be gone for the entirety of a day and late into the evening and didn't know what to do so that Teddy would get the attention he needed and our concerns alleviated. Amy was very willing to pre-meet us beforehand to make sure that Teddy would fit in well into her home and that Teddy would be comfortable. Amy was even willing to rearrange her schedule in order to accommodate us. We met with Amy, her husband, and her dogs. Amy was very willing to answer our questions and reassure us that Teddy would be well cared for. She is an extremely warm hearted person who is a total animal lover. We felt so reassured that we decided to go ahead for our first DogVacay experience with Teddy our puppy. Amy sent us gobs of pictures and a video snippet throughout the day. We shared those with our family while we were vacationing and we all enjoyed and welcomed the special attention that Teddy was given. We felt so relieved that he was being well cared for. When we picked him up later that evening Teddy was as jubiliant and happy as ever. Amy is an incredibly kind person and we felt fortunate that we could be paired with her for Teddy's care. I enthusiastically recommend Amy to anyone who would like a loving, fun, and safe home for their 4-legged family member.”

“Our big girl Bee had a fabulous vacation at the Brandon and Billy “resort!” This is the second time they have cared for Bee while we enjoy the tennis tournament and it hopefully won’t be the last. They are wonderful with her.”

“We were referred toSierra by a friend who uses her a lot, for daycare and overnight boarding. We just used her for a day with our two dogs. She was great. Quick to reply about everything. She knelt down with the dogs and watched me go. She has a great set up - where you walk in a gated area to her front door. She was honest with us when she told us the puppy stuggled and whined. She texted photos and updates. We would use her again :)”

“Bo was great in accommodating us last minute when we needed a sitter. He showed us around his home and we met Oreo who is so sweet. He got along great with our Koffi. Very nice and communicative sitter. I appreciate you!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 322 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Willis Palms. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Willis Palms commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 322 sitters in Willis Palms, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
