“McKenna has the perfect personal touch to care for our senior dog. She’s loving and caring and kept us up to date on the important things. We’d love to have her help again and again 🐾🐾”
“Rhondee was great, prompt, and responsive! Medicine had to be administered for my senior dog so needed someone I felt I can trust. Rhondee scheduled for a meet n greet as this is my first time which made me feel comfy”

About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals, and caring for pets genuinely makes me happy. I have 8 years of dog experience and 9 years of cat experience, including puppy training, pet sitting, walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight care for family, friends, and neighbors. I always strive to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I recently graduated from Santa Clara University, so I currently have a very flexible schedule and lots of free time to spend with furry friends! I’m a very active, organized, and reliable person who loves early mornings, walks, and being around animals. In my free time, I often take my family dog on walks and enjoy spending time outdoors. I’m available throughout the week and weekends and would love to help care for your pets like they’re my own. I provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. My home is very spacious, organized, and pet-friendly, and I currently do not have any pets living at home. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone, and I strive to make both pets and owners feel completely comfortable and confident in my care.
“Henny is such a wonderful and reliable sitter for our beloved Cat! She helped us same day when our house burned down in the Palisades Fire. She is what every family needs. Like Mary Poppins for your Fur Baby. Thank you Henny!”
About: Hi!, my name is Justin and I've been taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I can remember, as such I'm very excited to get to work with and for all our four-legged friends! As mentioned above my core values include being energetic, adaptable and patient, and through these values you and your pet(s) can expect discreet professional level service at anytime you need me. Hope to meet you soon! - Justin Despite currently job-hunting at this time, my schedule is completely wide open for all your petcare and play needs, and even after when I find a position I'll be sure to keep your pets a priority in my schedule. I currently live with my sisters' 2 Labradoodles, and as such each day it's my duty to make sure they're let outside between 7:30-8am, given a Greenie dog brush treat when they return, have a clean, full water dish with clean filters, are generally behaved and not causing damage to anything (rip Birkenstocks, you'll be missed), played with, are fed between 5-7pm, and let outside throughout the day until last call at 10pm. Regarding house sitting, my bounds all depend on the dog(s) themselves as well as your personal preferences. If they have seperation anxiety, need attention 24/7 due to medical reasons or just want someone to play with, then I have no issue staying all days and/or nights for them, but if they need only to be checked on routinely then I would be absent from the home so as to value your privacy. At the time of writing this I have no scheduling issues with staying overnight during house sitting calls, but if you only need check-ins then I can check in as many times as necessary.
“Don has been great with our 2 dogs. He has boarded them several times and lately has been dropping by our house for a couple hours when we’re out for many hours and taking the dogs for walks, swims, playtime and doing some training!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my ability to cater to pets of all ages and needs, including providing patient care for senior pets and gentle, consistent training for puppies. I also have a keen eye for recognizing changes in behavior or health, ensuring your pet’s well-being is always my top priority. I’m a coach during the middle of the day, but mornings and nights i’m available. I’m also usually completely open on weekends. I can adjust to your schedule as needed. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play and relax, along with a consistent routine to ensure comfort and stability. In a client’s home, I follow their specific care instructions closely, maintaining the pet’s usual schedule for feeding, exercise, and attention, so they feel secure and stress-free in their familiar surroundings.
About: I’ve taken care of my neighbours dogs since my sophomore year of highschool and I’ve walked and fed them mostly at their own house. I’ve taken care of a lot of aggressive dogs in the past I’m currently going to community college and mostly do side jobs. Im currently on summer break so right now my schedule is very flexible and open I’m able to drive to my clients house and feed, let their dog outside and even walk them. I also like to spend a little extra time playing with them.
About: All my pets are rescued off the streets and I rescued 2 of my husky from being put to death by a shelter. I rescued 1 husky from the park wandering with no direction. My work schedule is from 4 pm to midnight. Off Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I usually take my huskies on my morning walks around 8 am. Then let them play in my backyard. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly husky to keep your beloved pet company, and entertain and to play with. I have a pet crate if needed
“Shiori was great! She looked after our elderly German Shepherd mix who requires multiple medications in his food and even though he’s elderly, sometimes he can be a handful and Shiori charmed him. Highly recommend. Very lovely and respectful person as well.”

About: I’m a former dog groomer with hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. Over the years I’ve learned how to read canine body language closely and prioritize safety, calm handling, and trust-building with every dog I care for. I’m especially experienced with large breeds, high-energy dogs, senior dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs that may be reactive, anxious, or slow to warm up. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, structure, and strong situational awareness during walks, introductions, and everyday care. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or prefers a calm and gentle approach, I tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable, attentive, and communicative, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently do not work a traditional 9–5 schedule, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive and consistent pet care throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and companionship while making each pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I currently do not offer boarding services at my home. But I will be more than happy to watch your furry babies at your home =)
“Katie recently took care of our fur ball while we were called away for a family matter. She gained his trust and provided amazing comfort to him in our absence. She is thoughtful and caring which our cat appreciates greatly.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We can’t thank Holly enough for stepping in at the last minute to take care of our pets! She was incredibly understanding and accommodating with our sudden trip, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. We really appreciated how attentive she was to all of our pets’ needs and how she kept us updated with messages and photos—it gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Everything was perfectly handled, and our pets were clearly happy and well cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter!”

“Faith was amazing and very communicative! This was my first time using Rover and I was going to be gone for 12 days. She always kept me informed how my two kitties were doing and sent pics. She even stopped by for an extra visit when one of my cats was hiding for a few days and we were worried she trapped herself in somewhere. I would definitely use her again in the future 😉”

About: I’ve had pets a majority of my life so I have experience with all of the love and attention they need which I will consistently provide. Having a dog myself I know they need frequent bathroom breaks and lots of play time, as well as food and plenty of water. My dog is my best friend and I will treat any pet in my priority as my best friend as well. I will take my best care of them as possible. I absolutely love dogs and consider myself a very tentative owner for mine. I am unlike other sitters and walkers because I have so much personal experience and love for and with dogs. I will genuinely enjoy every minute of taking care of your pet!
“Becca did a fantastic job with Dudley. She was here on time and took extra care with Dudley who has separation anxiety. We will definitely use her services again. Just a delightful person!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 298 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Willis Palms. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willis Palms. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
